If the majority were based on one-IP-address-one-vote, it could be subverted by anyoneable to allocate many IPs I think Satoshi simply dont think that he could limit the number of "IPs" and create a PoW. The solution I am proposing is so simple that it is interesting that no one has thought of it already. Pascalcoin came very close but still used the PoW to solve the double spending problem. The system can start with a large number of accounts, but when this number became scarce, it will be big problem. I think the best way is to allow any account to create another one (maybe paying, burning some coin). I prefer solutions that keep the system purely p2p, without special nodes. But maybe something as you propose is more effective, I do not know. About exchanges, they can work with one account, like they do with fiat money. Today, almost everybody keep their coins in exchanges and never create a node. this will change if news coins follows this Proof-of-Care protocol. people definitely should understand and take care of the money system they use. I program on a python, make telegram bots and make scripts for automated trading (currently arbitration). Could we join our efforts in this direction, what do you think? |
