You're a well known translator (by positive feedbacks), it's a good basis for your development. Fyi, Google is a meaningless combination of letters but virtually everyone knows it. Merits aren't really hard to get these days if you are a good poster and like helping members around. Within a couple of months, you should have already ranked up to your current member position. I've heard that theymos allow people to change their name especially when your username is somehow inappropriate or unacceptable. In 2016, you can change your username with 10 bitcoin only compared to 2013, it was 50 btc as what stated above.
The best thing that you can do is to create a new account and start over or keep your username as it is. Today, username won't tell someone his skills, it's their portfolio who will speak. You can break the wall of ranking up if you know how to earn merit to rank up.
