Title: When selling, am I safe if I only accept BTC? Anything to watch out for?
Post by: kodiak1120 on March 15, 2019, 01:12:55 PM
If I sell a physical good on here, and the buyer pays in BTC, is there anything I need to look out for?  I assume that as long as I wait to ship until I receive the payment, I am fine.

- Ensure that the payment has had at least one confirmation
- Use an escrow if you don't trust the buyer (or they don't trust the seller, you in this case)
- Do not leak your personal address (use a PO box or a postal office that isn't near your house)
- Always require a signature upon delivery and be sure to use track & trace
- Make a picture of the package (content and weight), so nothing funky can happen during shipping (and so that the buyer cannot claim you shipped them a brick)
