Title: Have you invested in an altcoin in 2018?
Post by: anexxty009 on March 16, 2019, 03:46:41 AM
I did invested in UTRUST
UTRUST looks to have a solid development team, as it has managed to quickly implementovertake paypal, but currently we have seen alternative projects. Hence, its success will only depend on the level of adoption it would experience in the global world.

Therefore,  in your opinion what has the future hold for UTRUST?

Each and every projects success depend on its adoption. Bitcoin started to increase when people started to use it in various ways. The same goes for ETH too.
However, I have never heard of UTRUST if I recall correctly. I would not personally invest on a coin which is less familiar to others.

Altcoins investment is the only choice for last year so I invest in many altcoins. But trading is the good opportunity for altcoin investment so mostly all the investors are investing in this platform. Binance is the best coin for this year because we will saw 2x pump in the market. I expect this will be a best coin for this year.

Utrust (UTK), I have several. I bought it when the price was still $0.3. this is one of the biggest losses in 2018. you are currently holding 60k tokens for my personal wallet. and right now I'm not paying too much attention to their updates.

Yes, I have invested many altcoins in the 2018, and all in the cheapest price, but this all this shit coin have almost dropped to zero now, no doubt to hold it and wait the price rise again, and I have stop all investment in this time.

It was not a wise decision to invest in cheapest coin in a bearish market, not at least in 2018. From the mid of 2018, it was almost easy to speculate that most of the projects will die. And the possibility of rising again is near zero. I usually invest in a trash coin when it's bull market.

Sadly i don't make any investment on UTRUST. and lately i think i've seen that UTRUST is starting to get better even though it slow.
So for any holder of UTRUST, I hope they will get what they always wanted from it when the market recover again.

in 2018 I spent a lot of my money to buy altcoins. but on average no one works, I lost a lot of things last year. one of the coins I bought was UTK. the first time I bought when I got a pretty big profit. but after ATH I bought it again at the price of $0.1, I guess it's the lowest point but it turns out I'm wrong.

Yes, I started investing in 2017 and I think UTRUST is an ICO project carried out in 2017.  ;D

I also invested in in UTRUST ICO and I am very fortunate to have invested in UTRUST ICO.  Yeah, I got a big profit from the ICO UTRUST.

I think UTRUST has a good future.  The roadmap continues and the team is still continues  working hard. In addition, there are still many communities that join this project.

But, for now I only choose to invest in bitcoin.  ;)

Well i think investing altcoin in 2018 is really a great move or strategy. We all know that during 2018 the price of so many coin in crypto is down, because of the huge dip that we experience during that time. I think the best thing to do is to hold and wait for the very best time to sell.

I don't invest in Utrust, but I invest in the other coins which already gives me a double profit in the last year. Besides that, I invest in a low coin price in Bittrex because I believe that coin can get an increase in the future. There are more than 5 coins I bought in 2018, and I still hold it until now just in case this year, I can see there is a pump for those coins.

Maybe later I will research about Utrust, and if I can find some interesting info about the coin, I will decide later. But to be honest, I don't feel good to buy a new coin which doesn't have a history before because it could difficult to analyze the coin and we are gambling with the coin and hope that the coin can increase in the future.

But if in the short time the project can give a good movement by seriously maintain the project, I think it will worth to buy the coin because the dev is very active with the project and that is not many devs of the project which can do that.

I invested a lot of coins in the year 2018. More than thousands of dollars I thinl I must Imvest because I beliebe to the crypto to recover from the bear market. But I don't have Utrust and I do not know if that potential or not. Because mostly the coins I invested is the ethereum, ripple,  waves,  eos,  litecoin and ofcourse the bitcoin and also I have purchased some tokens in the year 2018.

I remember the time I joined the bounty campaign of Utrust which is I earned a good amount of money, I have no news from Utrust since I joined the campaign but in my opinion it still a good project with a solid team.
Wayback 2018 I invested to some ico project but sadly most of them turn to scam and only one project survive.

I cannot judge whether the future of UTRUST will be better or not, because our future is nobody knows, we can only hope that what we invest will produce results in the future with a high level of significance. a trader must believe and be optimistic about what he has investigated.

I have his coin from bounty and until now I’m still holding with it, i can say that I made a mistake on holding this coin and now I can’t still take profit from this one. Well, if there’s a good alternative then expecy a one project to be dead especially if there is no progress at all. Now let’s see how they can hype this coin again.

there is a high probability that investing in an ico utrust project will be more profitable in the future.
why did i say that? yes, it is very clear that the Utrust project is highly trusted by the investors themselves.
and Utrust greatly guarantees the future of investors. :)

I've invested Envion when its ICO was continue. I like their project and team. I've also joined their bounty in here. They didn't send bounty prize and their tokens lost value almost half of it. So I decide never invest again.

First time I've seen that project, you already said that they have a solid team, if they live up to their name, they can do whatever it takes to get into the top when it comes to adoption the team should do massive marketing and should keep up with the technology and platform they offer.

Yes, I invested in Counting House Project by hearing a random man from this forum, and it worked very well even more than my expectation, Therefore I invested in Moneytoken, Egretia but theses investments experience was not good! However, I never invested in Utrust but I got a tip in UTRUST token from one of my elder brothers, and I sold out because it is a good project but I did not think it is worthy to hodl for a long time. I can be wrong but that was my decision and price hasn't overcome from my selling price except falling down!

of me 2019, 2018, 2017 or any other year for that matter make no difference because i have always had a solid strategy which i adhere to. i trade altcoins instead of bag holding things that i am sure are going to lose value in the long term based on my own experience that i have gained over the years.
so the answer is yes, i have made investments and i have already made my profit from them as i made my exit by dumping them at appropriate time.

I think almost all projects must have a solid team and also hard workers, to realize their vision and mission. And that also happened to UTRUST, for the future UTRUST we cannot see for now. And still needs a more maximal development process. Of course, it must be supported by many parties and one of them is a lot of investors.

I know this project, i have this one before and sold it when i still have the chance to sold it at a higher price. I do invest on some ICO last year but i sold it higher than my cost because I know some coins are not meant for long term holding. Most of the project last year was failed to stay at a higher level, well I gues its normal during bear market and i think Utrust can bounce back.

yes I do and it was my first time to invest in an ICO project. However, I do not knlw if it will be profitable or I will just be scam. Anyway, whatever it will be then hopefully for the positive side. It os not easy to look for money and just waste it in a project. I think the project though is promising since even if it is not yet listed many are buying it from the decentealized exchange. Not an official exchange.

I have not invested in any altcoin this year reason being that the bearish market of  2018 is still hanging around. Perusing through www.coinmarketcap.com will show that the market is not near recovering as Bitcoin is still below $4000 mark and there is no trend in the horizon.  I am still holding on for now.

Yeah all the market looked so good during the past when Bitcoin was trading very high and then things went downtown leading to the major coins plumping down and dragging everything along. Due to that, all projects have been poorly performing and personally, i don't blame these projects even though some (in fact majority) were trying to solve nonexistent hypothetical problems.

I have investednin altcoins last year and would still invest this year. Utk has a big potential to rise as it has an active team. I have invested some of it as well. As for me, it's a perfrct time for us to invest and hold more altcoins while waiting for the bull run.

Yes and if I could go back in time, I'd have kept everything in dollars and only now I'd be shopping!
But life does not work that way and there are no perfect entries!
After some time here I could understand that not all projects will have the glory and that the question of use is very strong.
If you do not use it, it's something of speculation all the time!
I use a lot of DOGE for some practical transactions and I do not even know when it goes up or down in prices.
That is what my thinking is about, and few projects have that capacity.

2018 was worst than I expected it to be. Anyway, I still invested in altcoins, but I didn't go for the ones on the lowest, decided to go the top coins cause they are always promising. So I invested my money in Ethereum around late 2018, and I also invested in Litecoin and Stellar. These coins are quite promising. Never wanted to invest in Stellar but after I received the $25 from Blockchain for the airdrop, I decided to invest more in it and its been quite a good investment. These are the only three altcoins that I have invested in.

I don't invest in ethereum in the previous year because I am not so much confident with the investment on altcoins but in this situation the Bitcoin also being in troubled that's why I am very afraid of investment now I am holding sum investment to get the profit.
Ethereum is one of the best cryptocurrency ever (if not the best). It is muhc better than Bitcoin in lots of ways and lots of Ethereum has been sold more than Bitcoin and investors keeps investing in it everyday and its even cheaper than Bitcoin and is likely to get you more profit than Bitcoin. Bitcoin is good too, and has reputation as the first. But when it comes to investing in Ethereum, I don't have any fear.

Utrust has good potential and I have some from long time which is sadly too low from its all time high chart rates. I am investing in futuristic ICO's these days or may be we can say that I invest in those which may give us good profit when it lists or when it reaches certain milestones. One of these projects which I want to mention is XAUp which is practically gold in this crypto market. Every Poken is pegged to one troy ounce of gold which means that everything in the project is supported by a successful team of Populous which quite a fact to invest in this.

The more a coins is demanded, the more it would spred and the more it would grown in size. This is the general concept of market and this is true in case of Bitcoin and ETH as well.

Few of the coins among altcoin have been quite extraordinary and have been able to make name. ETH for example is one of the best in its family with the highest market cap and the highest number of people accepting it as a mood of transaction.

UTRUST looks to have a solid development team, as it has managed to quickly implementovertake paypal, but currently we have seen alternative projects. Hence, its success will only depend on the level of adoption it would experience in the global world.

Therefore,  in your opinion what has the future hold for UTRUST?
as far as I see Utrust does have a very good team besides that they are able to survive in the market, if you look at it there is a possibility that you have a good future.

For me, 2018 was a learning period, didn't know so much about crypto, the little i bought dipped to zero, I think one of the reasons was for me not doing research, now I have learnt from my mistake which is helping me a lot. Even if I invest now, i make the right choices because I do research before investing.

i already invested in so many altcoins and altcoins from ICOs in last year, Utrust is also but the number of money i lost in last year higher than the money i had, so much ICOs failed in last year and investors panic sold most of their altcoins to withdraw into Fiat, maybe now there are many ICOs but we may not know which one can be worthy to invest in.

I invested in some alt-coin last year but only when they went into the exchange or got listed.
I invested in CST and MNX last year and made a profit from them.
I also invested in ACC this is where I lost it is an POS so I hold it for a month and the price went down big time.

i did invest in one of the ICO projects last year, but i am unlucky with that one. still holding that token though. but right now, it is not worth selling. their telegram channel is also full of unnecessary comments that you will think that the project is already over! last year was really an eye-opener to everyone. even old timers were victimized by these crowdfunding schemes. maybe, those projects had good intentions to begin with, but they did not expect the continuous downfall of the bitcoin's price, making them unprepared with their targets. and so they either abandoned the project running away whatever they got or returned the funds that already lost its original value. really a chaotic situation last year!

I invested ion a couple of coins last year and i gain profits from one (MiracleTele Tokens) and run at a loss with the other one but i choose not to mention it because i still believe in that project. Furthermore i have also invested in some other tokens this year for example Content Protocol (CPT). This is a reverse ICO and i think it's a great project which the crypto investors should look at.

I believe the Utrust market will be good, he has a good market. it's not strong yet, but I believe there will be more growth. I got utrust from the bounty campaign, I sold it and then I bought a few more.

Utrust from $1 ATH down to $0.025 which is same flow to what happened to bitcoin but I didn't invested to it. I'm not sure what's going to be the future of Utrust but I did invested in an altcoin for last year.

I was wrong when I caught ethereum because it was on the bad position currently and by that time, I invested on it's quite higher price. Learning from that mistake, I need to let it pass and hold it until the price of it increases again.

I have studied and cared for some Altcoins in 2018. They are CPT, JNB but only CPT I feel a bit hopeful and other Altcoins I completely fail because of all scam and promise a lot. We are looking for some altcoins in 2019 so Bitcoin can go up and return.

Choosing to wait is far better than to sell it out with loses, the bear market really conquer the industry so whatever projects that you invested last year are still far from it's last time high, investment inside this market always relied with good timing and understanding, the more you can take to wait the more you'll be able to save your money, if you still have some plan with this current situations better to invest more of your spare money and wait for another bull to show up.

But actually to be honest I'm  still assuming more profits on it .unfortunately i became frustrated after the massive declined because the structure of my investment became weak aslo especially on this situation which it became so much stagnant .

I have followed UTRUST since the beginning, I can say they wanna make it the right way.  I have been reading silently on their telegram and they never talked about hyping its price, they even avoid talking about the UTK price speculation.  All they wanted is to have a natural price growth which in my opinion is a good thing.  Aside from that, they delivered their promises on time except for this platform where they intended to launch once their e-license is released.  If I have extra I would definitely buy more UTK since it has been on its low and there is a great potential for a huge profit in span of some months once their platform go live.

You have a standard selection of investment assets that are incorrect. You need to learn more from the market to get an investment that benefits you. if you buy assets that are too cheap, that is also not a guarantee of going up. choose based on market response research.

I'm not willing to sell at losses because it's already too much for me if I'll react like that. I'm aware of the market and as a long term holder, I urge to believe that future gains would better to assume than to panic at these times.

There's no reason for me to sell right now so sticking to my plan of holding is what I do. Adding more to the altcoins that I hold right now is what I do but only small portion to it and higher portion to bitcoin.

I kinda disagree with you, if you are looking for pump and dump token, UTK is not for you.  We all agree that UTK suffered a major loss in value these past months but compare with ETH and BTC it only goes down by 2/3 of its ICO value, if  your valuation of coins is the decline in price then, you are indirectly saying that Bitcoin, ETH, and majority of token have no future which make no sense at all.

Regarding progress, try to inform yourself.  Check on their announcement channel on telegram https://t.me/utrustannouncements and  see the development yourself.

True!  OP should be more specific about his title.  Have not noticed that he is asking particularly for  the readers view about UTK possible future and yet his title is open for all cryptocurrency view.  It is best if he edit his title and change it specifically for UTK possible future and adding links on the Tokens site, projects, announcement and all important links about the project, this way, it is easier for the reader to check if it has future or not.  And will also attract forum member that has well knowledge about this token and its project.

Yes ofcourse i have invested in altcoins in 2018, l am trying to gain some profits with exchanging coins since 2017. But there is a difference between investing altcoins and trading altcoins. If you invest to a coin you need to catch the right time for investing that coin and also you have to be prepared for hodling. If you invest to a new project you should wait at least 1 year for the project developments otherwise you would loose. Daily or weekly trade option is the best one i believe in this market situation.

I did not make any long-term investments in 2018, but I invested in many projects in the short term. Especially in the past year due to worse market conditions every day could not provide a nice return in any way. Although I have managed to increase my crypto money, I suffered against the currency of my own country and against the USD. I can only say that the main reason I have invested in short-term is to be impatient and not to stick to some projects in the long term. Especially in today's conditions, I have realized that I have made a very correct decision to make an evaluation. Although today's market imbalance prevails, it will be more accurate to make long-term investments with today's prices.

Altcoin is very good for investing. I personally invest in altcoin and someone else wants to invest in altcoin. I'm lucky to invest in altcoin every year. Whether the profit is big or small, it is not a matter. Profits are a big issue every year. So I say all of us should invest in altcoin. The market has many good well altcoin If we invest in those altcoin, then we can earn a lot of profits.

Therefore,  in your opinion what has the future hold for UTRUST?
I have invested only in two altcoins last year and that was the in the $DGB and the other one is the xtrabytes, XBY. Last month, I bought some stellar and additional ethereum. I was tempted to buy eth because I believe it will be a huge profit in the long run.

Good for you, you don't have to wait, of course there are other coins out there.
This coin has reached over $1 as it's all time high, and that is huge considering the supply is very high, now the price is very cheap and I don't
know if it's still possible for this coin to recover again, actually it's called token AFAIK.

I think you already know if altcoin can benefit very much but why do you have to wait for more time to invest in altcoin to do it as soon as possible because if you wait longer then the price is too high and you are late to buy.

Well no one can tell the future of UTK however if you're updated in the progress of their project you'll know that you dont have to worry about the price of it currently ( UTK is declining despite of a bit pump of btc).
I suggest to hold it for long period if you really want to gain something from your investment.

Last year I invested in few altcoins with large percentage in iost. Although its not right to have a high hopes with our investment I have a trust that iost project will going to succeed in the future since their project has always something to offer to their investors.

I will not answer about your UTRUST hype but rather about your question in your title, yes I've invested in at last 5 coins and promoted at least 15 ICO, but so far I'm still not getting profits from my portfolio, all of these coins are still in the development phase, it will take months before i can gain profit from my portfolios.

of course it takes time, because it's not easy to get big profits so don't just give up.
there is still a chance for big profits, now the market is increasing hopefully this will be the best because it will increase.
it's been a long time for all of us to wait for the market to rise and hopefully we will get a big profit from the Altcoin that we have.

You have described a very good perspective. I hope that most users will do so. You can also try mining some new coins. I, for example, are now actively engaged in mining the new Sound Money Coin token. there is no need for any special equipment, and only need to pay a few cents for gas in transactions.

Any project sustains or gains popularity only when the whole people give their support. It means a project should deliver on its goals and promises so as to win the hearts of its customers. But on the contrary, hype and speculations are taking over in the market. But unlike in the past, this trend is decreasing lately. As a result, we can say that the market is correcting itself and becoming stable. I have not heard of the token you have mentioned. But it will be a success if it has much to offer.

suddenly the market turned to falling situation there is a huge tension and pressure in my mind to invest on any currency in the last year so I don't invest much more investment in the previous year because if it was totally fall it will give zero profit for me and my investment also not returned to my heart that's why I am not been if you invested in the 2018

I invested in a couple of coins last year for instance BNB, XLM, and some upcoming masternode coins and most of them were not really doing good back then but with today's rise in bitcoin i have seen that if bitcoin should rise over $10k they would be worth something substantial.

Anyway i don't know much about UTRUST, i would make a little research about it and when it is a good ground for investment then i would throw in about $200 worth of bitcoin into that.

The price is also  very reasonable which can give you multiple return whenever market recover. I suggest you to invest slowly in different altcoin where if market dip you purchase more and if market recover you just college your profit

the future of each coin seems to be the same, if there is no global adoption, market demand will be low and it will greatly affect the price and sustainability of the project, because even though the concept is the same or different but everything still includes crypto and adopting blockchain technology so that the future of each project and coin depends on the future of crypto and blockchain in the future

Yes, I joined ICO UTRUST in 2017 and bought an extra in 2018, I could not make a profit on time. it was necessary to average the cost. Later sold it to the global fall of the Altcoins. I believe in this project, but the market dictates its own rules.

Almost everyone invests during peak season and in my opinion this is natural, the market keeps moving without being seen as stalled or dropped, but the reality is different and the market red, I hope this year bulls can run again.
