Once every 24 hours.

Don’t forget to delete your old bumps.

I usually comment once in a thread. I actually check oftenly the latest page of my comments in a hope to find a reply to my post, but that happens rearly.

It's 24 hours, correct. However, make sure to delete your previous bumps once you've made your new one. This is forum etiquette, and helps you keep a cleaner thread anyway!

Or, as is done on many threads, just open a couple of throwaways or pay a bumping service and have endless fake conversations.
Here's a 177 page, 3500+ post example. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4415965.3520)

Are there risks of account ban in case of deleting past posts?
I read the list of forum rules and have not seen such a risk, but I am curious to know it.
Thank you for your coming reply, @Welsh.

Past posts as in those "Bump" ones? If so, that should be fine.

I don't think there is ban risk for delete of "bump" post. It will consider as a spam post if you do not delete your previous "bump" post. Admin isn't encourage much about ban for spam post. I have experience previously that I had reported multiple post from single user but they didn't got ban even post was marked "good". So delete of "bump" post will not ban your account. Correct me if I am wrong.

Since OP got his/her answer from multiple users and moderator as well so thread should be locked by OP or moderators in order to avoid spam.
