Even though I haven't been in crypto for long, my little experience here has shown that there are so many people waiting to get credits but they're getting older and Bitcoin is getting better.
So many people wanted to be on record;

- Craig Wright- the man who created an army to solely destroy Bitcoin/BTC/whatever they call it, and ended up with shitcoins that no body wants...not even his followers  ;D

-Nouriel Roubini- the greatest economist who first called the end of Bitcoin, but everyday he still doesn't understand why his mission has been meaningless for over 10 years :D

-XRP army shillers/trolls talking plenty about how PoS won't work but XRP will be the best, but their coin could've been shit without Bitcoin helping give them some few pumps :D

-Too many so-called developers/scammers trying to solve "hypothetical" flaws of Bitcoin and they all(or 90%) ended up as shitcoins/scamming people

-Help me add more lol :)

So all that I'm saying is, being part of Bitcoin/Crypto adds you to an army who just love "something" and don't wanna give up :).

CSW abused Satoshi's name to make a lot of money which he did on top of some other scams. then he wanted more so he started advertising BCH and make some more money that way. when he was done he still wanted more money so he created a new shitcoin called BSV and made more money that way. he doesn't give a shit whether people want his shitcoin or not he wanted money and he made it.
he is also involved in some companies that he is making money from that publicity he gained by being a scammer.

in 2017 Dash said it will replace bitcoin, they even funded spam attack against bitcoin for some months. now their shitcoin is still dead while bitcoin is still rising...

Try Jamie Dimon, CEO of JP Morgan Chase who has been bad-mouthing bitcoin ever since it boomed on the media and all other outlets. He was practically a sworn anti-bitcoin lad since his statements are basically detracting bitcoin in any way possible, yet bitcoin managed to do the impossible and get an ATH of $19k while he kept on shouting bad things about bitcoin. Ultimately, his company is now creating their own cryptocurrency for what ever purpose they see fit, which, to me, is like sucking bitcoin's dick acquiescently.

Dash is currently on #15 on coinmarketcap. It is still one of the major currencies.
The point is that even some of the leading coins might be a result of shill or some shady activities of their devs (as we see it with BCH) so Bitcoin might be considered as the only worthy currency.

Due to shady activities sponsored by Ripple developers, they coundn't pulled down the King even though they are on the number 3 position  on coinmarketcap #3. The difference is clear and they will admit the fact that, Bitcoin is the King of all cryptocurrency. Although, in the process of pulling it down they make alot of money from investors who aren't conversant with Bitcoin.

High decentralization is one of the many pluses of bitcoin, even the creator Satoshi backed off from the currency and is till today unknown, allowing it to be truly, completely controlled by the community. Although there is the Bitcoin core team.
As a decentralized currency it can be manipulated, but it's maturity as a currency makes it resistant to such activities

'Faketoshi' just googling up this term will give you results about Craig Wright. Now that's a fun thing eh?
He is a popular abuser of bitcoin who has scammed many people and create shitcoins worth nothing. Bitcoin is great for a reason and it will remain the same forever.

The list goes on and on with so many people who were strongly against Bitcoin saying all manner of things and even coming up with their own coins but eventually failed. Bitcoin has thrived in the midst of all these attacks from these guys which shows its top class. Bitcoin will grow from strength to strength, its what the world has been waiting for and has come to stay no matter the negative words and attacks people throw at it.

You forgot to mention the big financial institutions such as JPMorgan who has been mainly dissing Bitcoin for what it is yet they develop their own coin on their of Blockchain, they forgot to hate Bitcoin as a whole but they are using the idea backing it in for their own financial gain. Another company worthy to be mentioned is Starbucks whom suddenly has plans for Bitcoin being accepted in their shops but before that their CEO has negative views to it since early 2017. I love to see how this big corporations wanting to have a piece on Bitcoin, it's like they are eating their own words.

You should realize most altcoins are getting pumped because most of them only have trading pairs with btc alone. And most of them either have fake or zero volume.

So when btc gets a pump, alts get a pump naturally because of those pairs that I mentioned earlier.

The real problem begins when people start to cash out their alts. Then those alts tank like there is no tomorrow.

There isn't really much support for altcoins at all. The volume you see on coinmarketcap is either fake or non-existent.

You are right to some extent but I don't think it's wise to put all alternative cryptocurrencies in single bracket. Although most of the altcoins are nothing individually and exist only due to pump/dump but there are few altcoins which have their own existential importance. Suppose if ETH would have never been created, does people able to create tokens as easy as they now with Bitcoin ecosystem?
There are many cryptocurrencies like XRP, Tron, Monero, etc. which have provided something new to cryptocurrency world that was lacking in Bitcoin-Litecoin era.

That is how it will always be when you are on the right track everyone will try to throw stone at you to distract you but I trust bitcoin it remains strong then ever. Some even went as far as calling bitcoin a bubble but for 10 years and still counting the bubble have not bursted yet.

Trying to break the spirits of new supporters of bitcoin and just want to end up to their screwed new coins which will just be used for their own evil purpose.

How about the media? The local news.
They have been also trying to link bitcoin with scam investments which used bitcoin as means of payment only.
Didn't even realize bitcoin is a currency. They didnt even try to correct it and just let it be.

I'll add on this one that they keep on telling the people with their projects that it's going to be huge and it will be able to compete bitcoin and even kick it out of its place. How many of them told the investors that they will replace bitcoin?

Most of them are like that, they never stop ending with same ideas that doesn't really have an application to real life usage. The bright is future especially for those believers that doesn't mind those news that keeps on FUDDING the community.

Not just Dash who claim this thing before, many shitcoins said this one too and now they can’t be seen anywhere. Bitcoin is not the only worthy coin but it remains on top because investors trust this one so much. So many negative thoughts with bitcoin but the future is still with bitcoin. Let’s keep moving, trust and wait the process, i also believe its worth it.

I would say, countless projects have already tried the tagline of replacing the bitcoin in so many ways. But no one has succeeded yet, even achieving half the popularity or usage of it. Even if using the bitcoin network has many disadvantages, still people continue to use bitcoin. And with more merchants and shops accepting bitcoin as payment method, no wonder we are in good position to be a hodler of bitcoin.

Even the nuclear wars can't kill Bitcoin, they could stop the mining if the facilities are destroyed by the bomb but only a certain time, as long as there is one node running, the bitcoin network would continue unlike banks if destroyed and leaving fiat money burned to the ground  would eventually fail. Bitcoin has been the most durable currency ever.

Everybody who knows something about businesses can tell you that the 3, 5 and 10 years marks are pretty good milestones and they separate the most common failure brackets for new businesses. The same thing happens for every economic activity i believe.

After you have the consumer's preference for so long, then there's nothing that can get on your way when you're opening a new market if you play your cards right. This kind of technology sells itself until a certain big extent and the future implementations of it will be huge.

No it ist . if the computer breaks or any gadget/device that stores your bitcoin ,  bitcoin will also be lost because you cant access it  .    bitcoin is not durable but gold are because gold is immune to nature hazards  .

Also, add those fake ICOs, they are only CEO on fake projects, and their LinkedIn profile is also fake. There are also lot of scammers using other people identities, especially last 2017 bull run, the will run ICO with a fake whitepaper, fake ICO Advisor or developer team. I know these kind of issue become a lesson for every people in the crypto world.

They can't destroy bitcoin, people are already holding it for so long and those early investors who made profit and still holding now will certainly gonna fight for Bitcoin. It's the most popular coin and even if there are better coins than BTC in terms of use case, still that cannot make bitcoin less worthy.

This is the representation of money in crypto, most people trust bitcoin than altcoins so that would say it's strong because of that big support.

i am surprised that nobody has yet mentioned the famous bitcoin obituaries list[1]. it is filled with lots of cases like this where some idiot spread some FUD about bitcoin and this has been going on for ages, even when price was in 1 digits not 4 like these days.

We live in a very competitive world so I am not wondering if something a good idea like Bitcoin can be receiving its fair share of critics, detractors and overeager competitors out to overtake the King of Crypto out of its share of the market. Sadly, majority of these people are still struggling right now them without noticing that they are actually trying to destroy a good industry with many without realizing that if they can take Bitcoin down they are actually killing the very industry they are in...hello Roger Ver and company. Anyway, am sure that despite of so many things not so good that happened to Bitcoin it remains to be strong and the one with the brightest future ahead and will even be the one to be helping many new entrants into the market...even helping the many new projects out to compete with it. We are in a very dynamic market so all of these things are not beyond our amazement...

All the altcoins together still move less money (equivalent to fiat) than Bitcoin alone. The world might have space for a few more, but thousands? I don't think so. Still, everyone is free to try (doesn't meant they'll succeed), that's the beauty of free open source software.

Let's not forget about BitcoinXT and people like Gavin Andresen and Mike Hearn who tried to "improve"  ::) on Bitcoin and failed miserably in their mission. Gavin Andresen went from lead developer of Bitcoin to virtually nobody, after his involvement with BitcoinXT and also with people like Craig Wright and Mike Hearn.

Mike Hearn are now working for a banking consortium startup R3. <Our competition>  ::)  So our enemies has never stopped with their attempt to take Bitcoin down, but most of them failed.  :P

By those cases, bitcoin proves to us that bitcoin is very strong to survive and still be a king of the cryptocurrency. I do not doubt with bitcoin because I believe in bitcoin.

There will be more bad news that spread about bad thing about bitcoin, but I don't care about that. We don't have to listen to them, we can read about that news, but the truth is bitcoin will be still in the top position.

Yes, because it is not a bubble. A bubble last only for a short period of time but for 10 years of existence I think they must stop that FUD because those people who considered bitcoin is a bubble are only those who want to destroy bitcoin and lead the market.

Yeah there has never been a copycat that last long, the different attack on bitcoin from different individuals and projects all aimed at discrediting bitcoin and trying to bring it to it kneels but bitcoin is getting stronger on a daily basis and that is a big shame on them all ;D bitcoin all the way up.

Those list of people still join those the criticized bitcoin and trying to bring it down by all mean possible, ripple developers thought they will bring bitcoin down by uptill now the king of cryptocurrency bitcoin is still standing.

Your list will definitely increase in the future as bitcoin continues to grow. Bitcoin is a success and as it continues to be more successful, more people will come to bring bitcoin down. But what they didn't know, it won't go down and will still remain strong. They will just end up wasting their time trying to drag bitcoin down.

BTC is the king of all and due to btc today we have so many other altcoins and people are asking for them So the leader remains the one and other follows. But yes if something unique comes and the whole world demand it than we could see some other coin overtaking the btc.

Bitcoin cannot be defeated and more competitive makes the coin strong and still the king. Whatever coins created do not stay for long and never had a value like btc have in the market no matter how deep it drops. I still trust bitcoin, which is only recognize by everyone when in high price without taking opportunity when it is more cheaper.

Bitcoin really remains the best among crypto. I also rely on the HODL, but I'm looking for new ways of earnings. No need to stop and sit around, it is always better to be on the alert.

It's a collective effort which nobody wants, to decrown bitcoin as the prime cryptocurrency, yes btc definitely has flaws when you see the painful speed on high price and volume, still the perception of pricey bitcoin is going to stay for some times, other crypto doesn't have enough publicity to be no.1, not when some collective 'efforts' is done

Exactly, there is no enough reason to prevent people from liking bitcoin and even if the big celebrities throw negative thoughts about bitcoin, they can't still stop it. We are still growing, and bitcoin will continue to pump. What more funny is that, JPM who talk negative about cryptocurrency are now trying to create their own coin.  ;D

Bitcoin is a digital currency, and can work if there is an internet network available. without an internet connection, bitcoin cannot be used and if there is a nuclear war all internet connections around the world will die, especially satellites cannot function because earth controllers cannot work. if this happens then bitcoin will be lost because technology on earth will be destroyed.

Are you sure that the internet used satelite? Even the google its selfe does not used the satelite, as you said if there is nuclear war the technology of internet won't be die the people will make other connecting like internet in different way than right now, so for now bitcoin is still king of cryptocurrencies because it is first of cryptocurrencies in the world and the other are just copy cat of the bitcoin.

We all want that BTC will remain king, that's because we are afraid of a possible scenario if BTC will be dethrone.
It's its dethrone, it means the value will go down and there's a new coin in the market that is the most popular, and if we are bound to success, crypto as a whole, for sure temporarily we will suffer another big dump in the market due to panic, but like crypto always does, it corrects eventually.

The "best" altcoin is far from being "king". They can't still do a better job together, let alone a single one.

Ethereum? Bad karma from reversing a blockchain transaction, developers had made more mistakes prompting hard/soft forks
Ripple? Centralized, bank garbage.
Litecoin? Its ok, its got both segwit and lightning network, it would be fun to experiment true decentralized exchanging with it.
EOS? Another Ripple, meh.
Bitcoin Cash? No one cares about bitcoin cash.
Binance coin? OMG this thing got to position 7 already? An exchange token? whoa....
Tether? Hmm i don't trust these "stable coins", it lost its ground in October, apparently doing fractional reserve isn't such a good idea...
Stellar? Even more centralized Ripple clones... How can there be so many people thinking centralization is a benefit, when its clearly a weakness in security?
Cardano? I don't really know it.

It's fun to watch them try and fail just to make Bitcoin look stronger .

Yes, I agree with you, bitcoin will not be defeated by other coins and newcomer coins, even people who don't like bitcoin by making bad news about bitcoin and other news to drop it but bitcoin remains strong and remains the king of cryptocurrency that can affect coin movements other.

They say it'll go zero and XRP will become the global currency. And what happens? It prevails and all altcoins are correlated to it. They say BTC will die because it can't deliver quick transactions, and what happens? BCH and altcoins still behind, while BTC rules the stage and delivers the LN solution. There is no greater crypto king than Bitcoin. It's safe to assume that it won't change in the near future.

Price now a day is getting better because people have become aware and they are now following the trend not the news, bitcoin for me is the best coin as it has good power to become high and it has reputation to become world’s best currency at the moment, so as long as the universe will survive bitcoin will remain the king.

You're right, so far attempts to overcome Bitcoin have been unsuccessful, however, that can happen, if you can get a cryptocurrency to develop a mass market, probably its capitalization exceeds BTC, it is worth remembering that this is just beginning, only 3 million of people are using cryptocurrencies and the population of the world is 7.5 billion people, so anything can happen in the future.

If more shops or companies will continue to accept bitcoin as payment method, then, the chance of increasing its value is very possible.

Exactly, the Roger Ver claims that Bitcoin Cash is the real "Bitcoin", lol. And then they even said that they will overtake bitcoin as the number 1 currency in 2017. Well, they did good in the beginning as they 'almost' did it, but the community know better who to support so they ended up just like the rest of the alt coins, just pure pump and dump coin.
