I have many m3x in my farm that some of them have old firmware version. I have remote access to configuration of miners. How can i update the firmware these miners remotly.? Because "whatsminer tool" program didn' t work correctly in remote access mode for updating and it had good work just when my laptop connected to miner with lan directly.... My farm have many distance (100 km) with my home and i dont want go to farm . I want do it with my remotly access. If any other free program is exist , please advise. Have you tried TeamViewer (https://www.teamviewer.com) yet? That must be one of the most common ways nowdays, people leave a normal PC at the site and connect into that remotely to do whatever needs doing. If you use Linux there are several more choices, including various VNC clients or X2go (https://wiki.x2go.org/) which is my favorite (and depending on task, a simple ssh (https://www.openssh.com/) could do). Another software that I know is Minerstats if you are interested with this software you can check it from here (https://minerstat.com/) Why not access it manually if you are in the same network? you can just manually access them one by one through a browser and upgrade it. Title: Re: Update firmware miner M3x remotly Post by: mikeywith on March 24, 2019, 08:19:56 AM I do not think awesome miner or any other software will give you access remotely through the internet unless the OS is installed on the machine you trying to access like simplemining os and the like.
I have not done this myself but the logic states that if you configure your router to forward port x to your miner, you should be able to access it both via ssh and browser, the problem is , you need to know the public IP address to your miners, so without a static public IP and/or a windows/linux PC that sits on the same LAN things will be a lot more complicated. |
