Title: Fake Dutch translator: Adeel06
Post by: Dutch Teacher on March 23, 2019, 04:09:57 PM
I hereby accuse Adeel06 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130048) of falsely presenting himself as a Dutch translator, cheating various bounty campaigns.

Below are a few links where he presents himself as a Dutch translator:
1) http://archive.is/ZeGLy
2) http://archive.is/01hIA
3) http://archive.is/deuMy

In link (1) he refers to his portfolio at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1yH6H4R2do1WSBLYbeT0XGcwmhsq0vOExb3MXmsZh0e8/edit

Screenshot of the portfolio:

Let us analyze some of his references.

1) The first image shows World Economic Forum, Technology Pioneers 2018, and refers to the Dutch Horizon State whitepaper (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fHlN3G_-XT-y99J9AlYhMgr-hlKO9KGP/view). However the Horizon State bounty spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14yaeT3nmEKjeasJ11TzTs-oevksVNJYoMA4NyphvG0Y/edit#gid=845221914) shows that this translation was done by Fabsquire (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1098548)
2) The second image shows IndaHash and refers to the Dutch IndaHash whitepaper. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XkJVc4BbyapD4axTGXRTC8HuHPryy30j/view). However the opening post (http://archive.is/qqPU1) of the IndaHash bounty thread shows that the Dutch translation was reserved by Fabsquire (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1098548)
3) The third image shows GidCoin and refers to the Dutch GidCoin whitepaper (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e36__cwBMrI-1mGxq3bhHAPMs49SK1JO/view). 4) Fourth in a row: The Dutch R_Block whitepaper (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l7ckwRtJt9PCIF1eKN4TkGg5pb5iOXgf/view) which according to their bounty spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1k4TcZAVoY77cN97fdTf7HlTuJYw3eErit_6SIQ1qp-4/edit#gid=1543815791) was translated by Fabsquire (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1098548).

9) The Dutch Investa whitepaper (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xn93nghz3E9qX3loHzZCpAAVCjsyRdyK/view) was according to the bounty spreadsheet (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1yBQJClbkONMCloWiWt1S3vUpmoI37MMSWdKvI32yqNY/edit#gid=143906701) translated by Laning.Translator (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1828267).
10) The Dutch IP Gold whitepaper (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1j-yLBSKrWPf0-HzbLI35kw0Hb_TAGqO3/view) I could not retrieve, but given the above cases it is safe to say that this whitepaper was not translated by Adeel06 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130048).

I request DT members to tag Adeel06 (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130048) for trying to cheat various bounty campaigns by presenting a fake portfolio.

Finally his entire portfolio was plagiarized (as expected). Thanks for the complete list.  :D

I tagged him one week ago, reference here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5105258.msg50079472#msg50079472. User javijavier (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=203490) seems to be his alt account (posted directly below Adeel06 and did also fake translations), more tags by DT are always welcome.

Could be profitable to check different spreadsheets if there are some more plagiarizers of translation-portfolios.
