Title: Selling old bitcoin wallet
Post by: WhateverFiQ on March 23, 2019, 08:23:24 PM
I am trying to sell my bitcoin wallet created 2013.
There are 25$ Stellar XLM to claim to claim if you verify your personal information with blockchain (ID,Selfie) .
There might be other things to claim but i did not have any bitcoin during time of the fork 2017.

Check my topic. I try to send you a PM but you have the option disable for newbies (User 'WhateverFiQ' has not chosen to allow messages from newbies. You should post in their relevant thread to remind them to enable this setting.). I am interested, send me a PM.

Isn't this available for everybody that has a Blockchain.com wallet?

https://www.blockchain.com/getcrypto

Looks like you are just selling an empty wallet because "it is from 2013" (which means nothing).

Exactly, everyone who will pass KYC on Blockchain.com will get $25 airdrop. Even fresh made accounts can be used, so there is no point to buy wallet from OP, especially if it's not possible to claim any forks from this wallet.

It is possible to claim some forks. I have not claimed anything.

Which ones? Are they worth the money you are asking for the wallet? If so, then why are you trying to sell it instead of just claiming the coins?

The only forks that are worth any money required you to have some BTC while it happened.

I just don't wanna deal with it, and download bunch of shit. Not sure which forks can be claimed because there are so many, but in my account i have completed around 6.9 btc in transactions so i probably had some coins on my wallet, just not during 2017 fork.

Sorry, but that’s worthless.

Total amount transacted doesn’t matter. The amount of coins while the fork happened is what gives you fork coins. And the only forks worth anything are the BCH/BTG/etc (which happened recently).

Nothing really happened before that time. BTC was BTC and that’s it.

I also think that things are useless but some members are buying old accounts/addresses ----> [WTB] Buying old BTC, LTC and DOGE wallets! (Automated site! FreeBitcoins.com) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1177746.0).
I do not know why they are doing it. If anyone knows the reason, do not hesitate to post it here.
The terms of that user are:

Your addresses must meet at least one of the following requirements.

1.  Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Dogecoin addresses were in use on May 12, 2014

2.  Bitcoin addresses that were in use on August 1, 2017.

3.  Bitcoin addresses that were in use on October 24, 2017.
If your old Blockcahin.info account supports these conditions, read that topic (check the topic because I still do not understand anything) and contact/PM that user.

It’s most likely to try claim some CLAMS (a coin that was randomly air dropped to some BTC/LTC/DOGE addresses). I don’t think they are worth too much these days. Also, AFAIK, you needed to have some funds on the address to be selected to receive some of them.

I contacted them but they said they don't buy old wallets anymore.

hi if you have not clams tokens (or if you haven't the possibility to claim CLAMS), it seems a worthless bitcoin address, or maybe you can try to get some weak btc fork.
Anyway there is not any guarantee that you can't empty the wallet since you are even owner of the private key.
