I think Altcoinstalk is more about altcoin rather than bitcoin. Just like the name suggest, it's about altcoin, so I don't think it belongs here. Maybe you can add it to "Crypto forums" list though.

Don't forget to add stack exchange. Even though it is not forum per se, it serves as a good source to learn about Bitcoin.

Do you believe that this forum has provided a lot of important and most updated information? For me, the Bitcointalk forum is the best because it has a good level of information. With various people who already know the crypto world, the Bitcointalk forum has tested the quality and accuracy of the data.

These forums can be added to the list of bitcoin forums available, but none seems to be that worth as bitcointalk.org, here we've got each and everything relative to all the cryptocurrencies available in the market. Reddit gives good information that gets updated regularly while rest are simply forums that might need promotion to be successful.

Honestly I am loyal at bitcoin talk and bitcoin forum. Because I think all the things that you need to know is in this site. You can also many comments and advice coming from the experienced bitcoin users and bitcoin business. You can learn lot in this sites. I did not browse any other bitcoin source of idea and I think bitcoin talk and bitcoin forun is enough for me learn.

You can add https://bitcoingarden.org/, but the number of members is relatively low compared to Bitcointalk. And for technical knowledge is https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/ a useful source similar to the boards Development & Technical Discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0) and Bitcoin Technical Support (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0) here.

There are a few other crypto forums, but the spam in incredible in some of them:

https://cryptocurrencytalk.com/
https://bitco.in/forum/
https://www.bitcoinblackhat.com/
https://cryptoinforum.com/

And for crypto gambling:

https://forum.stake.com/
https://forum.primedice.com/

To be honest I do not really like to visit other bitcoin related forum, simply because this bitcointalk forum is more than enough to learn anything related to bitcoin and crypto. Most the topic at other forums are available in this forum. Indeed I have some favorite alternative forums, bitcoingarden and forum.bitcoin.co.id (local based forum).

To be honest. The only place that I visit is this forum and Reddit. I'll be looking at the other site that you list here. Thanks for the list though.

First, I'd like to say thanks for sharing that, it's very useful for newbie.
When I was new in crypto, I explored different forum in the space but I ended up falling in love with bitcointalk.org
We have our local community here and members are more active here.

So far, the best forum to gain and integrate the completed information and its development of the Bitcoin is this bitcointalk forum. It has a specific session to talk about the discussion of BTC and more also about other cryptocurrencies.
Besides, Reddit is also another source that will give us updated news around the world. We can find out much information and discussion about BTC specifically.
If on social media, I think I only focus on the telegram group of bitcoin and trading discussion.

I don't usually go with any other forums and most of the time I stay in bitcointalk. But if there are some other discussions that I visit, it's with those crypto sub-reddits. There's too many of them and it's up to you if you just want to read or also interact with the people there.

I appreciate the compilation that you created. But if you want to engage with such discussions, the best place is to be here. I think this kind of compilation should be helpful for those marketing staffs that are looking to gain exposure with their services and projects.

I agree this place is arguably the best place. Because the foundation of Bitcoin was laid here, its development was announced by Satoshi and this was the platform that called the community to this world.

Nevertheless, it does not hurt to follow other communities. Especially on the reddit page there are many interesting things.

I will suggests bitcointalk forum is the best place to get information about the entire cryptocurrency world because it a decentralized forum where members who are part of the wider world come to share they knowledge and skills. I still refers to this forum as the king of all social media when it comes to cryptocurrency.

I would add: https://cryptoanarchy.wiki/

Also slashdot.org.

The former is the latest home of the very popular Cypherpunk Mailing List where the Bitcoin white paper first surfaced;) The latter was where I first saw Bitcoin being mentioned and a lot of users there started trying Bitcoin, even if I myself was not convinced until years later!

These aren't specifically Bitcoin-related but there's certainly no shortage of actual Bitcoin users and advocates in these communities, I believe, arguably even more than in many of the places mentioned in this thread.

This forum is the father and pioneer of all cryptocurrency forum, and the creator of Bitcoin itself was one of the founder so the reliability is so strong here compare to any other platform.

It's just a matter of time until the new forum will be launch by Theymos and I can't wait for it to happen as it has a good user interface and new is always interesting.

I think there's also bitcoin garden but obviously here is where most people turn to when they want information about crypto. Btctalk is like bitcoin as all other forums are like alts. I haven't tried checking that much in other forums since i fairly get anything i need here.

BTC Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/btc)
Bitcoin.com Forum (https://forum.bitcoin.com/)
Bitcoin Gold Forum (https://forum.bitcoingold.org/)
Masters Of Crypto (https://mastersofcrypto.com/forum/)
AltcoinsTalks (https://www.altcoinstalks.com/)

you can not call this a list of "bitcoin" forums and social media when 90% of your list (the links in this quote) are altcoin related! note that both /r/btc and bitcoin.com are focusing on an altcoin called "bitcoincash".

Smart Bitcoin Investments Forum (https://www.smartbitcoininvestments.com/forum/)
or... you just started this topic to advertise your own website and you don't care about any of that :D

What would be useful is information about the various bounty programs available on their site. Are they available and as good as the ones on bitcointalk?

I like Bitcoingarden a lot also, very old and while it is small,,, there are quite a lot of good altcoin developers who used to be active there. I honestly do not visit much these days but their newsletter is quite interesting to read.

The stake and primedice forums are nice looking too, but still not as great as the ones here:)

Also, finally, moonforum.net is one upcoming place.

Bitcoingarden, altcointalk or cryptocurrencytalk indeed these are the forum related to crypto but most of users at there usually only share reff from other program or only share upcoming giveaway and rare to see people discuss about crypto and related to it and that's why i was more likely often to visiting bitcointalk forum rather than them because in here most of people are being active and talking about news update regarding crypto

BitcoinGarden (https://bitcoingarden.org/) you forgot to add this.
I only use these forum and some social media to get some crypto news .
But thanks now I have plenty of site to visit and search if the news about crypto's are real or just to create FUD.

I have seen several of these forums popping up but the information shared there mostly lacks credibility because moderation on such forums is very less strict. However, cryptotalksworld seems to be a very promising site for providing information on cryptocurrency.

Bitcointalk is obviously the biggest forum related to bitcoin existing and 90% of the people from other forums also have an account here so the is pretty much no reason to choose them instead of bitcointalk, unless you already were a member of them before and you are familiar with them. I think you should also search some Facebook groups related to crypto and add it to the list since many people spend a lot of time there and it could probably help them

Same here. I tried signing up with bitcoingarden but still I go back to this forum for updates and everything. For me, we can get all the necessary information here in bitcointalk forum. Or maybe, I was just too lazy to try those other forums.  :P

Since you added 2 subreddits,it would be fair to add some facebook crypto groups as well.
I know that Facebook has big and active crypto related groups.By the way, some of the forums you mentioned in your list aren't bitcoin related, because they support the forked pseudo-bitcoins called bitcoin gold and bcash.

.
you are right what make bitcointalk forum different from the rest and make it the forum with the highest number of users is due to the unique section that offers incentive to user on this forum which led user to do more search for information in other to complete they task and earn the commission.

It's weird that there are a lot of bitcoin forums or least communities related to bitcoin, but if you look at them majority is still pointing to this forum as their main source of any news related to bitcoin. With that said, I for one think this is the best forum and will remain as the number one. Just look at how many users we have as compared to other community, that alone speak how popular and massive this forum is.

I think bitcointalk influenced people the most. This resource has helped thousands of people discover cryptocurrencies for themselves and get the most operational information about cryptocurrencies, mining, ICO, etc. By the way, in the Russian-speaking environment there is a popular resource Miningclub. thanks to this resource, I was once able to independently construct and assemble a mining farm, and then repaired it with the help of experienced people. Of course, there are not so many people in the crypto-world, but it's nice to know that many of us were at the origin of many cryptocurrencies. Hope that for all of us everything is just beginning.

in my opinion the bitcointalk.org forum is enough to learn about crypto. because some forums are not in accordance with our own desires, sometimes just discussing trade, but with the presence of this bitcointalk.org forum in my opinion, it feels enough to learn about the world of cryptocurrency. Do you feel that it's not enough with this forum?
