I am giving away up to 3 merit per person who shows an understanding (or genuine interest) of any or a combination of the following:

• Bitcoin
• Major altcoin (top 100 per CoinMarketCap.com)
• blockchain technology
• cryptography
• encryption
• free markets
• importance and value of small amounts of regulations
• affects of arbitrary regulations

In order to receive merit from me please post the following:
At least two posts demonstrating solid knowledge of one or more of the above concepts/topics. The posts must be posted at least 28 days apart. You also must have made at least 12 constructive posts between your referenced posts. The time difference between referenced posts is not a hard requirement, although my standard will be higher for posts with shorter time between posts.

If you need 6 or less merit AND have 20 activity above the activity required to rank to the next rank, I will give you enough merit to rank up to the next rank.

I prefer you request merit yourself, however I will review submissions on behalf of other users.

None of the above are hard rules, although it is what I desire. As long as your posts are ‘objectively high quality’ and the type of posts we want more of, and you show a genuine interest in crypto, you will generally receive merit. 

I have small ideas for the @QuickSeller.

I don't know how many sMerits you have now, and how many of them you readily to spend for your challenge's fund.
In my opinion, you should officially state that you (at first) dedicate 50 or 100 sMerits for your challenge's fund, but it might be changed over time (more if there are big interests and qualifying applicants).
I wish all best ones for you, your challenge, and applicants.

I still thought of your challenge, and I have one more additional point for you to add into the OP (if you agree).
- Accepted language of applying posts/ topics.
I think it should be in English, but might be locals as well if you know it.
Anyway, should have one more rule on language to avoid spamming with diversifying local languages.

I will like to get your comments on this. I think   most user in forum had  left the technical aspects behind and just worried about price aspects.

So if a user wants to join the contest but has made no previous post on the topic, and they want to articulate one, do they also have to wait for 28 days and then post again in that subject to quality for the reward? It's your contest and you make the rules, but s shorter time frame would be better or none at all. I don't see the point of waiting to post on the same topic.

I joined the contest earlier, so I have gotten only two from the OP. It's not a mistake, fella.
Please accept rules and rewards at specific timepoints, and remember that rules can be changed over time by the OP.

If I give you merit in this thread, you can apply again one month from when when I sent you merit. I changed how much merit I will send after you applied.

I don't think there should require any rules like that. As on the op, it is mentioned that s/he can give up to 3 merits. That means op may give 1-3 merit. Hopefully, think you have got the point. Thanks.

I have noticed this user has created a lot of threads in the Beginners section, and answering many questions. As such despite some concerns, I have decided to give him enough merit for him to rank to Full Member, even though he has nearly enough activity to become a senior member. I read some of the post provided in here and I have found a thread/post that mentioned 2FA which can help to protect your stored bitcoin if you are using something like an exchange for example that has 2FA feature that you can enable or activate to be safe. I created a thread on how to enable/activate 2FA.

The criteria in these first two thread is not included in the op's criteria but I still want to share this information.
Some people don't like Google 2FA for some reason but when activating/enabling 2FA using Authy is the same as google 2FA that you only need the 16 digit code given from the site that you are planning to enable the 2FA. The Google Authenticator/Authy can also be installed on your personal computer by downloading an Application first that is a simulation of a real mobile phone/device. I joined the forum in November 2017, during the craziest period of crypto world over the last three years. You should respond to others when you post, and others should respond to you, and when appropriate, you should respond to those who reply to you.
I think there is a very high probability you are an alt of Bitbtc8 which I just denied giving merit to above.

You are not responding when people reply to you. I believe this is an indication you are not interested in what you are writing about.

Most of your thread are summarized information that you read from an article. I have checked your post history as I have said that you always read articles and created a topic that the summarized information you got from the article of the same topic. Base on the threads you have provided in this thread, I think that you didn't have much knowledge about the two threads and both threads you are asking about what is double spend and Orphan Block. It's a good practice to ask someone about a topic that you don't know rather than joining with the discussions about the topic you don't even know that much. Also, although off topic, I do believe you should stop advertising LiveCoin in your signature. A recent scam accusation (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5159692.0) has shown them to have very shady business practices, including operating on fractional reserves for extended periods of time.

This is helpful to support vocabulary and grammartical errors while non-native English speakers type their posts. Whenever a person fall in love with grammarly.com, it is hard to stop using it, that is very convenient.
