I had no idea that a digital currency was even being discussed that early. I wonder if David was friends with the pioneers of silicone valley when the digital revolution started

I think such innovative ideas were present at all the times even before the internet but right now i think as the world has become a global village there is an increased demand of global borderless currency and also world now is standing against the centralized currency system that is why the future belongs to crypto currencies.

;D  Oh yes, serious progress is only 200-300 years old and already such progress. So with the cryptocurrency everything will be fine. Soon we will see the dawn of a new utopia.

You can imagine how close you were to a new era in the field of digital technology, but apparently then it was not the right time for that. But to be one of those who came up with digital currency is a great accomplishment)

I think it's cool to see David having making such a mark back then and now get reinvolved with digital currency. He obviously believes that privacy reigns supreme which will be cool to see

Don't be surprise if he has some related connection to those people. David Chaum should be the OG for the developers of digital money and who knows if he's the inspiration of satoshi nakamoto. Early days, it's the time were people loves to explore more about the future and it's part of the history that they are already looking for the future transactions like we're already doing right now. If there's a fan of David Chaum here, I've found his project https://elixxir.io/

Thank God he already gave the idea then, I am sure the present technology must have built on the idea he gave then. If it was during this time that the idea came into his mind, I am sure by now he would have gone far and be the most recognized digital asset in the whole world but unfortunately, they couldn’t maintain it due to low users database, I am glad bitcoin case was not this case, it is a good thing bitcoin quickly got control of the system and gained popularity that attracted so many users to sustain it and this sustenance will continue as we still have many users that will be interested in future.

I saw this old video being talked about on Twitter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X45NmCBpYUw&feature=youtu.be

There's a moment when he was in office with zooko founder of zcash in early days. so they've definitely been friends with pioneers early on

I was never aware of this, but that is an amazing thing to know, because it is already part of history. So, for crypto enthusiasts like us, we will be interested in lots of things.

Crypto currency and is new in the field of digital currency. It will take time to set a benchmark. Last year crypto market was high and this year is low. So, time is needed for stability.

Can't do the digging much about the history but I usually read anything and watch videos that's related to them. Thanks for the link though.

It's for 'open minded' and to those who are ready for upgrades and innovations. We can't force the people to adopt such technical advancement like cryptocurrencies but there will be time that they will be into it soon. They have no choice but to adopt it soon when almost everybody uses and adopted it.
