Title: Best reputable bot for Binance?
Post by: thegoatiest on April 01, 2019, 01:48:49 PM
Hello,
I'm looking for a bot to help me place a limit buy order and simultaneously place a sell stop-loss below.
This is to ensure that I don't buy during a straight plummet and the price falls below my planned stop-loss whilst I'm in the process of typing it out. (this has happened to me several times)

I don't need an advanced bot. If it can do the above and maybe have a take profit option too - that'd be all I require of it. That'd be good.
However.
I don't know where to begin regarding finding one. My main concern is trust. In my mind there are two bad scenarios;
1,) Bot malfunctions and screws you over financially despite you specifying correctly what it should do.
2,) Bot is maliciously programmed / or hacked to lose you money (this is probably me being paranoid - but this is the internet...)

What're the most trusted / reputable bots for sale?
I would be closely monitoring it (at least checking in on it every few hours - I'm not sure what this would accomplish but I've read you need to keep an eye on your bots)
I know you can use Binances' own bot - but it requires a degree of know-how that I don't have.

Cheers,
TG

I think that the best bots out there currently are C.A.T  (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=507103.0)(oldest) and Gunbot (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1715214.0), both have been here for some time and you can check the hundreds of pages they have for reviews etc. They're not specifically made for Binance, so they support multiple exchanges.

Thanks.
They seem very advanced these bots with all the automation functions.
Can they still assist with my manual trading - placing a stop-loss for me below my limit order..?

For example setting up a trade like so:
Limit buy: 0.1BTC @ $4500....... Stop-loss: @ $4400.........  Take-profit: @ $4600

And then being able to go to sleep knowing that if the price comes down to $4500 the bot will do the above, without needing baby-sitting?

I have never used any trading bots before as I'm not an active trader who do trade frequently but I found an article about the best trading bot. You may check it here https://www.bitcongress.org/bitcoin/trading/best-bitcoin-trading-bots/
This articles tells you 14 best bitcoin trading bots, and Gunbot which is mentioned by OmegaStarScream is the 2nd best based there. So I think Gunbot can be the best choice for you.

I haven't use bots for trading because I have a FOMO. In bots, you can set when to sell and when to buy. It's just a manual trading with a lot of options, and you can trade that while sleeping. I heard in this forum that Gunbot is what they use for automated trades.

Is there a paired down bot without all the automation (and price tag)?
I'm just getting my head around manual trading - and I am sceptical of the use of bots to trade a strategy on my behalf.

I only want to be able to execute; market / limit orders ---- with a stop-loss attached and a take profit option.
Seems excessive to spend 400$~ for this functionality.

Thanks for the list.

Manual trading or let say traditional trading is good IF you've done a lot of research you know everything about those coins you've to pick in trading. But in trading bot/tools it makes less your effort by monitor the price market because of trading bot you can set and stop the possible loss.
The replies above were right, gunbot is the best tool you use especially in Binance exchange. I'm not affiliated with this but since we are fellow countrymen let me introduce a licensed gunbot reseller. Don't hesitate to contact this reputable user:  crwth (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=914465)
As what I have experienced to that user, willing to teach and guide you on how to use that gunbot trading tool.

Thankyou all. Good information.
I guess now I have to decided between starter, standard or pro.
Pretty hard to know which is right without having even seen the interface.

ugh, tried contacting customer support 'chat' via Gunbots official site and it re-activated my facebook account - which i deleted 5 years ago. Without warning that the messenger had anything to do with facebook.
Not. Cool.

Take Gunbot (as OmegaStarScream said) if you are looking for a bot that can help you with your daily trade. As for me, I haven't used any bot so far when I'm trading.

Personally, i haven't used bot since my early days of trade and don't have any single ideas concerning how it works. Many forum members has said that, Bot can lead to financial looses because of their nature. I trade the little i can; to minimize looses, which i prefer than Bots.

Is trading bot more intelligent from human? I don't think so, I don't know why peoples are using bot on trading since there is stop loss option available on Exchange. I had not bother to use any bot nor I am interested. Be careful, may be scammer will send message to you for sell trading bot. Don't be a fool and don't send any money to other in order to buy bot. Must use escrow if you are strongly willing to buy it.

Do you think the tradingview add-on is worthwhile? Or something that can wait...... I have a paid tradingview account.
---
I spoke to customer service and they said they are removing the facebook connection... they apologised.
There was kind of a heads up - but, It wasn't very clear.... I was being taken away from the website off to Facebook to re-activate my account so that I could return to gunbots website to talk to their customer service... It was confusing let's say.
--
Like I've said - I want it mainly to avoid price going past my desired stop-loss  whilst typing out the stop-loss. This has happened to me several times. It's why I'm scared to put on any trades currently.
For instance trading off a trend line. You want your stop just below the trend-line.... but if the candle drops through the trendline like a knife through butter whilst you're typing out your stop - that's bad.. and incredibly anxiety provoking.

Can't conclude like that and maybe there are many people who trade using BOT and they feel comfortable using it and have been verified, but I personally can't use it because I can still use my own analysis even though it's very difficult and I'm not an active trader, maybe what I knowing about the advantages of BOT is that you can use the stop loss option as you say, back again, all trade with everyone's comfort and I don't want to know what they are doing.

For this kind of questions I think it will be best if you contact Sampey (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=130152) for C.A.T and Gunthar (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=817682) for GUNBOT or you can post to their threads (links on OmegaStarScream's Post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126947.msg50410102#msg50410102)).

In my opinion, they have the perfect answers to your question and may even suggest better solutions.

Do you think the tradingview add-on is worthwhile? Or something that can wait...... I have a paid tradingview account.
With a paid TradingView account, you can have multiple alerts in your charts and multiple coins (if that's your interest)

If you want a specific price to buy at, set a price alert in your TradingView then send the email to the registered on your Gunbot. Your alert should look like this

"BUY_BINANCE_BTC-ETH" so it translates to Buying ETH using BTC

you could also specify your amount "BUY_BINANCE_BTC-ETH_0.1" Buy ETH using BTC with a trading limit of 0.1 BTC

You would have multiple opportunities when you are using a TradingView addon. Also for margin Trading, you could do it. "SHORT_BITMEX_XBT-USD" Something like that.

There's a Stop Loss % with Gunbot, meaning if you have lost your percent of 20% of your invested amount, it would sell immediately to prevent further losses.

Let me know if you have more Questions.
