Please help,Thank you You are likely not losing anything. So, don't worry. Make sure you have your seeds of the wallet. Do not lose it.Do this steps: Uninstall the older version. (Before you do have the seed if you do not have it yet) Download the update version: https://electrum.org/#download Verify the signature (This is very important step. Please do not ignore this): https://bitcoinelectrum.com/how-to-verify-your-electrum-download/ Install it again. Restore your wallet. I hope you have your wallet backup or the seeds. I hope you have your wallet backup or the seeds. Don't do ANYTHING before you VERIFIED the seed phrase... You can even download and verify the portable version of electrum and install it on a different, clean PC without deinstalling the old version in order to test the seed phrase... He's already advised to confirm if the wallet seed phrase are intact before he download the latest version of the wallet in subject but it the second thing which should be the OP priority is making sure his computer is clean as was advised by ThomasV (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=154451.0) which I also believe was the reason behind the some electrum users loosing their fund.Edit : Good to hear that from you. |
