Bitcoin has just crossed $5000 and bitcoin cash has recovered significantly and it is currently trading around $280.  I think we the lovers of bullish trend like what is happening now in cryptocurrencies market.  I just refresh https://coinmarketcap.com and almost all the coins in the first page are in green and litecoin has making gain of over 25%! I think 2019 is going to be a bullish year because that is the same process that happened in 2015 and 2017. April was when price changes directions in those years and I think the samething is happening again.  Goodluck to all the cryptocurrencies holders.

The bullish trend has begun no doubt, and as Bitcoin increases in market value so also other altcoins are affected positively and that is why you seeing Litecoin following the same trend with Bitcoin. Am of the same believe that what happened in the past will repeat it self this year 2019.

Bitcoin cash was one of the biggest winner in this bull run.
Before the bull run, the price was just close to ETH's price but now it has already reached $300, I knew that BCH is going to recover and I was right.
My mistake is I don't have enough money to invest for this coin again, I made a little but I could have made more.

It has really give great gap to ethereum.  Ethereum is currently traded around $163 why bitcoin cash is around $307. But before this current pump both were following each other in terms of pricing but the pump make bitcoin cash to almost double ethereum pricing. For now we should expect a little corrections before the next bull run or pumpping again.
litecoin has also benefited from the current positive upwards movement in cryptocurrencies market.  I see litecoin touching $100 very soon and it is a sign that it has completely recovered and on the part of another bull run.

This growing was really unexpectedly happening in crypto market and some peoples are still hold for upcoming pump. So Bitcoin cash is really interesting platform for long term relationship. But majority of the investors are concentrate in Binance token and some top tokens because they are all make more profit in crypto market. If we compare the future benefits of BTC and BCH both are follow the same way.

I have this small skepticism on why BCH rose a lot higher than BTC did. I really hope it isn't due to new people buying bitcoin and thinking that BCH is the real bitcoin.

BCH was outside the top-5 list (in terms of market cap) for some time now, but now it has once again managed to find a position within that list. Right now it is fighting with LTC for the #4 spot (I haven't included Bitcoin SV market cap to BCH market cap. If I do that, then BCH would become the 4th largest crypto in terms of market cap). Even at this price, BCH is down more than 90% from its peak valuation ($4,000 per coin). So I believe that there is a lot of room for growth.

Don't take it quick, refresh coinmarketcap.com and see that the market is on red once again. Bitcoin cash hit $300+ and Bitcoin hit $5,300 and it all escalated quickly, too many orders has been set to sell with those prices.

We do love to see the bullish market every time.

Hey, I never thought about this but this can be a big factor on why it skyrocketed that much. We knew it that Bcashers are spreading false info and informing the new people that they are the real bitcoin. But I hope so that it wasn't the reason as well.

It's good to see the price of Bitcoin finally reaching $5000 again in the last couple of days, but it can't really hold at this is the next mental barrier for most traders. But I'm still not convinced though that this is a bull run, this is just a rally ignited by some entity after April Fools and others take the bait and ride the waves. Now some are simply booking profits, that's why we see some small fluctuations, and the momentum seems to run out of steam for now. So don't jump into conclusions, maybe time to accumulate at the new lows of $5000 and let's see what's going to happen in the next couple of weeks.

BCH has even risen up to $340. Yes, it was a very good increase. But I am not sure whether it is bullrun. Because the developments have happened suddenly, and I do not understand what happened.

That's probably one of the reasons, it have bitcoin in name, and it is significantly cheaper then real bitcoin. Roger Ver and his companions are working tirelessly to catches as many beginners in their network, and it is very easy to trick them, no doubt about that. But no matter how hard they tried it is more than obvious that they will never succeed to achieve that BCH become better then BTC in any way, when it's just one of the bad copies.

I am most pleased that it goes with bitcoin price up and this process also pulls other cryptos in the right direction.
I've already forgotten about similar times (I'm just joking). The first bull market is here. If it will be like in 2015 and in 2017 i do not object.

it is funny how these days i keep seeing the same topic all around the internet where people say bitcoin and XYZ are having nice days :D
the funny part is that we only saw bitcoin rise while those XYZ coins got dumped which was the case with BCH too.


what happened was very simple and very common. bitcoin price went up about 30% and altcoins got dumped around 10% to 20% and that difference showed up in their USD value as "rise" so people thought they were also rising.

There is nothing to understand big about the growth, all that happening with bitcoin is the real growth. What's happening with bitcoin cash is the growth associated with bitcoin. In one way or another each and every altcoins are dependent on bitcoin. Now, as bitcoin has grown, bitcoin cash too have grown big. This time the growth will continue as it has recovered from a price less than $100 as its low bottom.

I saw that too, and though I don't usually follow a lot of altcoins I do have some from faucets a while back.  Definitely nice to see them gaining in value over time.  Litecoin and BCH did drop back down quite a bit after shooting up a lot yesterday, but they're still up significantly.  Looks like the entire crypto market is up, and though I'm not a big fan of trying to explain price movements, I do wonder what's behind all of this.

Yep, threads like this dominate bitcointalk whenever crypto starts to move upward to any great extent.  And honestly, I'd rather have threads about something positive like bitcoin gaining 25% or whatever in the course of a couple of days than the typical nonsense topics that typically pervade the forum.

When Bitcoin price raising up altcoins also should be swinging their price either it will pump or dump because of the dollar price. However, we could not blame people of what they are thinking regarding the price sudden raising up. Because we all hoping that the price of bitcoin become bullish in the market and now we feel the presence of a bullish trend.

No doubt with BCH that it has the potential to have a profitable coin someday like Ethereum.

Thanks for reminding me of what April stands for in cryptocurrency, I almost forgot that it was about the time I introduced a friend to crypto which was my first time of convincing someone to invest, then I think it was just about $1200, so if Bitcoin is to follow same trend, I think it is high time we start accumulating more because this is just the beginning of the bull run, it automatically means that this year will continue to be green all through.

But, taking a look at coinmarketcap, most of the altcoins that are growing along with BTC are mostly the top 30 coins, does it mean that other coins are just shitcoins or it is not yet their own time?

Putting bitcoin and bitcoin cash at the same sentence is just pure evil. Bitcoin is the original amazing coin whereas bitcoin cash is made by miners to profit more from bitcoin, they want bitcoin cash to get more and more exposure so they could get more people involved with bitcoin cash and they could make more profits, they are holding insane amount of it on their wallets and the more people there are the more they can cash out without breaking the market.

Yes, bitcoin went up but there was a lot of other coins that went up both in bitcoin and dollar value however it was not just special to bitcoin cash. Please try to refrain from putting both of those coins on the same sentence because it looks like you are trying to compare them and they are wiiiiildy different from each other.

Although the OP seems to compare bitcoin and bitcoin cash, still bitcoin is still valuable and able to influence market movements to be fertile. This movement opens our eyes to be able to take opportunities, bitcoin touches $ 5000 and BCH is able to touch $ 290 today, bitcoin is indeed an extraordinary and useful investment for the future.

Bad luck I had not hold bitcoin cash on this trend. So i missed it. Once I was hold bitcoin cash was down trend. However usually I do not sell on lose even I have to few days. It's true bitcoin cash did nice with bitcoin trend. Its follow bitcoin trend. However, if bitcoin stay stable then most of alt will recover soon and market will more healthy. Really market deepening on bitcoin trend. But still trend is bit confused.

Don't you worry, you are not alone. I have dump by BCH prior to the spike, but no regrets here. I just dump and shift and spread it out, mostly on BTC.

Right now the price of BTC is settling down nicely so alts will also do the same thing or just continue to make it's run. Almost the top 10 alts are going good making gains so we are all good for now.

We all here have the same thing as you. 2019 could be a good time for the cryptocurrency market to rise again since all coins have a green signal. And related to bitcoin and bitcoin cash, yes, both coin has increased too, but bitcoin still has a big surprise for us because of the price increases in a few days ago. And it seems that the price wants to increase higher this month so we can expect to see the price can reach more than $5500.

i am not blaming anybody for what they think i am blaming them for what they say because it is wrong.
as for the pump, they always happen because bitcoin owners want profit on their bitcoins and the best way to do it is to pump altcoins. one of the better ways has been to fork bitcoin and call it bitcoin-something and make millions from the process like what BCH did. these coins have no potential whatsoever apart from their pumps which only last a short time before they get dumped again.

I wouldn't call it a dump. You just converted your Bitcoin Cash holdings to Bitcoin. And who knows? May be that'll prove to be a good move in the near future. But BCH will always be an attractive option, in case the number of transactions increase exponentially within the Bitcoin block chain. BTC still has no long term solution to avoid that.

All the crypto ethusian are very much particularly those who bought at the last bottom around February this year. And we all hope that the upward trend will move higher than what we saw in the year 2017.

It's still a fork after all, no matter how hard they work on it, beginners will know it at the end that they are holding an altcoin. They might sell it later on and get the real when they figured it out that it has a different name from what others are talking.

Seems like BCH surged at $300 above and enthusiasts are expecting it to surpass at $400. Wow, it really goes to the moon. No wonder, after the bitcoin creates a green candle, BCH and other coins are also in their bullish trend. Green market=good profits.

no it was not because of bitcoin's rise it was because of bitcoin stability + the recent fee spike + the BCH pumpers readiness to pump it after it was dumped completely to the bottom.
these situations combined has always been the best time to pump a shitcoin like bcash. and that is exactly what's been happening in the past days that bitcoin was rather stable near $5k price.

BCH got 100% increase or more than from the bottom, and this is expected and I am not surprise since it's always trading with a higher price
compared to ETH. Although the increase is good but the price is still cheap right now, the ATH of BCH was $4,000 while ETH was only $1,300, there is a huge difference.

Bitcoin cash is having a nice day because of Bitcoin and not because it has anything to offer, I have said it from the beginning that it would be good to buy any of the first 50 coin on coinmarketcap because all this coin are going to be a beneficiary of the bull run that we are going to experience in the market, whales don't care about the real life value a coin produces before investing in it because all they care about is how to manipulate the market and even make much more money from it.

Supposedly we could do it buying more coins during the dips but of course financial capabilities will matter to us. I know how it feel to be in doubts in risking our money for crypto, considering a lot of bad news appears during that time. But we are in the positive response from the community and makes the market being in favor to us this time. Really have to see more profits this year.

There is no doubt that the market is recovering from the great fall we had and the current market looks like a replica of the past markets, it is very difficult to predict things with little data, we only have two instances of huge bull runs in the past which touched all time high valuation, i am not talking about before touching the three figure market and the same might happen this time too and i am expecting another huge bull run in 2021 if the market reacts the same way like in the past.

It has been a long wait and it seem we are finally having soen respite from the long bears.Bitcoin leads the way ,bitcoin cash is more less riding on the gains of bitcoin with just some few pumping support from those with vested interests.Bitcoin cash will need to grow more in price to gain value relative to bitcoin (during the last bull market)

Im hapoy to see bitcoin rise slowly and bitcoincash too even I don't have BCH since last year. I must prepared ethereum compared to the BCH and we know ethereum is more potential compared to the bitcoincash.

What is BCH without BTC, BCH should still be much thankful for the influence of Bitcoin over it, communities of BTC are still the ones backing BCH too and if not them, BCH might amount to nothing now than the other altcoins. Ethereum in the other hand does not rely on any coin to grow, it relies on its strength, its community and its product.

You are comparing the ATH of BCH to ETH, have you tried comparing what they really have to offer the community? There will be a point in time where everyone will eventually sell their BCH back to Bitcoin and nothing left of BCH to hold on too again because I don’t really see much effect of BCH.

This is good for holders, for investors and for miners, if the price will continue grow most of us can make some profit, but i think that BCH price is influenced by BTC price, so if bitcoin will grow then we can see a high price for most altcoins not only for BCH.
