Answer a question for someone, or help them in some other way.  Then post a link here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5124596.0

If it's genuine, I'll give you a merit.

You may already receive merits. You do not have to have any special conditions to receive. Merits depend on the altruism of other users. The decision to send or not merits, is of each user, is not an automatic forum function as it is the activity. That is, for a user to send merits to you, he must consider your posts and contribution useful to the forum. Need to consider that you tried hard to make a great post. So, instead of posting quantity, try to strive to create posts with quality

If you participate in a BTC-forum and you have something to say about BTC that makes any sense, then you probably will be able of earning some merit...

Its not something you just get, but something you earn by contributing to the place in some ways... if those things don't interest you, then you better don't spend any time in here...

If you just spend your time here being a good member then merits will follow.

But making a thread just to ask isn't the way to do so.

when you join the "merit cycling club"  ::) , kidding .

you get merit for posing high quality content, usually by providing answers and solution for questions and problems raised by other members , but that's not all , in general any informative , well structured post has a potential of receiving merit.

that's Merit, but the tittle states Smerit, which = merit received / 2.  so for every 2 merit you receive you get 1 Smerit which you can cycle  send to another member whom will receive 0.5 Smerit for it.

You'll get merit when someone will send you.
Make good contributions to the forum, don't spam, participate in the topic discussion properly, and that way, you might receive some merits.

For @ Iqra.s: give knowledge to others and what forums do you have and as well as possible, by themselves (Merit) will come to see you, for reasons of learning and keep trying?
Everything you want can only be obtained by giving a good post for all?,
You also have to try hard to find information for the good of all. This effort has many ways, how? You yourself know the answer better, Good luck and always excited!

yes...? enough 1 but quality as desired.

Based on your posts it is going to be hard for you to receive merits unless you change some things. Your posts are mostly one liners. You aren't improving the discussion in any way. I haven't seen any suggestions, help, a post where you offer genuine advice or show any knowledge about bitcoin.
Your English is not good which also lowers your chances of getting merits. Search for The Fit to Talk English project by JetCash. It could help you to improve and make you fit enough to write comprehensible sentences in English.

You seem too lazy to even write a decent subject. It only says 'Smerit'. Based on the subject the readers need to know what kind of content they can expect in the thread.

Good Luck!

Easy merit here and I am already visiting the page most of the post that are really good were being merited. Good Job ther PAL wish to have more like you in the forum. So far there are other users too doing merit giveaways and as far as I'm concern also and wanted to submit a post that contrinuted for the forum and check so far I was not able to see it in my post history. Maybe it is the right time that I should create good posts.

I think I may able but it takes time because I need to review all the thoughts or the ideas to be presented in my possible replies or thread to start. I will start to think now.

Your current post history saying, "NEVER"
I took a look at it too, and I agree.  Everything I was able to view was a bunch of one-line nonsense, and it was clear he was probably looking to get his posts merited in Meta.  I'm sure everyone has heard that Meta is the hotspot for merits, and that's unfortunate.

OP, maybe you can earn merits in whatever local board suits you best, because I don't think English is your thing.  You're also going to have to put a lot more thought into what you write, and even if you do there's no guarantee you're going to earn any merits.  Even with the best posts, it's hit-or-miss.  In addition to all that, merit sources are generally reluctant to merit newbies until they've proven that they have at least a small pattern of making good posts and not just merit-seeking ones.

If you don't have anything constructive to say in Meta, it's better to just stay out of it.  Too many members are posting here with no real interest in the forum and nothing to say.  They're here because of what I mentioned, that a lot of merits are handed out here.  That's true, but it's never for posts like yours and not usually in threads like this.

This time I won't agree with you.

The user can be accused of a lot of things, from laziness when asking for help (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5122802.msg50242978#msg50242978) and , poorly written messages, creating stupid topics but I really doubt he is on merit begging quest here.
He does the same kind of posts even when his money is on the line.
I would place my bet on simply not understanding the system and to lazy or with proper knowledge of the English language to understand how it works.

Try to explore Beginners & Help (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0) and get some crypto related knowledge first.

Don't try to post for getting merits, you just keep your natural posting habits and once you started to help others in someway you will be able to start getting merits.

At first it is going to be a huge start but there are lot of people even ranked upto Hero from newbie after merit system got implemented.

Try to read those rankup stories and tips from them which might help you.

For your interests,

I gave you a list of guides for you in case you really want to improve yourself first.
I answered another user there, and you sure can take it for your interests:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5127548.msg50435893#msg50435893

There is a topic that collected merit-give-away topics, challenges, contests.
UPDATED [26/03/2019]: List of Active Merit Giveaways threads (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5096125.0)

However, as many users mentioned above, you will never get merits if you keep posting one-line, poor quality posts.

Good luck,

..if you can post a high quality post with sense of course,,that is very informative and can able to help readers ,,then you can get merit from your readers..just keep your natural posting ideas and improve your skills in giving and answering what is needed information on the thread you're reading,,don't post because you just need merit,,read more and try to acquire mmore knowledge in crypto related so that you can give a reliable information to your readers..

Search button will help you how to get sMerit. Lots of topics has been discussed before better to search that threads and also try to ask your self if your post deserves merit to have sMerit. Stop using the term Merit until you learn how to use the searc button.
Topic is answered above better to lock this thread and start using the search button to have ideas how to get that sMerit and how will change your post history to a better one.
