Title: New to this forum and bitcoin? Eyes Here!
Post by: jademaxsuy on April 04, 2019, 02:49:27 PM
Bitcointalk forum has been doing its worth and that is spreading the knowledge about cryptocurrency. It has already proven over the period of time. I have some wrong decisions being made and this is what I want you to learn. I was a bounty hunter but later on turn to invest in bitcoin. So, for you to be able to learn from my experience I am sharing this little knowledge when it comes to bitcoin or other cryptocurrency investment.

Do not overdo yourself joining bounty campaigns

Thus, signature campaign, social media campaign and etc. are low earning bounties except for doing translation. Bounty campaigns now are not worth and rewarding. Most of the ICO projects were being delayed or if it is listed then token or coin has made a huge decrease of its liquidity or the token usually being undervalued. And if you aren't lucky enough the the team bringing it may dump the project after listing. Signature campaign may do good but only if you have a good rank and was able to join the project earlier. You need also to acquired merits but it will not guarantee for you to rank up immediately without having a good posting skills like me.(LOL)

Check this site always

This is the site for coin market price for bitcoin and other crypto in the market. If you will be able to see how cheap bitcoin now compared to last year then it is a sign that investing now would earn you in the near future or it takes time and just believe on it.

Just give you an example why you should invest now. Last year I have seen the bitcoin market price drop from 19k Usd down to 6K Usd recorded on february 2018 I was trying to invest that time but afraid that I will going to loss my money so I did not invest in bitcoin. Then it began to move increasingly up to 10K usd which I anticipated and invested.. After that, bitcoin market falls and I made some losses. So I regret it and does not.hold it. Seeing now bitcoin market now slowly recovering made it more worse.

So, if you like to invest then do it now. There should be no time to waste. Do not wait for bitcoin market price to increase before you invest. However, you should also know your limit just invest money you can afford to lose. Some here had told that they sold their house and lot, cars or propertis to invest in bitcoin. This is not an ideal way on investing money. Invest in other altcoins as well that are in the top list of  this site (https://coinmarketcap.com).

Then some part that I will going to highlight is to remember not to trust anyone here. Except for those good user to which you can identify them sooner or later.

Remember also to visit all the sections and childboards and see the sticky threads above all other threads. Usually there are announcement and rules and regulations being made and if you could not follow it then it will result from banning you into this forum.

However , bitcoin is not like this for it has a real purpose to which other users emphasizes and instill to other users about it. And it is all about why Satoshi made this system. Bitcoin is like an electronic money used for payment in peer to peer transaction and does not involve third party. It has block chain tech. that will record all the transaction for proofing that a user has made a transaction either successful or not.

Again, invest now while bitcoin is cheaper. ATH(All time high) was 19K Usd before and who knows that the next ATH will surpass 19K Usd. This is really your chance. And it might take some time before this chance will going to happen again. The Ups and downs with bitcoin may take some time.

Hope this is helpful!

Do you actually have any backup proofs for your insane stupidity claims or you just like to trash talk>?

Not necessarily that coinmarketcap is posting fake volume on purpose, it's just that there are a lot of rumors about most of the current exchanges we have right now having fake exchange volume; and well, those exchanges that have allegedly fake volume are included in coinmarketcap's price metrics.

Thank you for that, do you have any other sites to recommend besides coinmarketcap? This is the only site that I always check in with the market price movement of the crypto listed on it. Anyway, what's best is that you can still add some info with the post. I will be more than happy if you do.

Some quite new marketcap sites that I've been hearing good things of:

Don't tell people to invest in Bitcoin.

It's a risky investment and nobody is able to know if the price is going up or down
Ofc people here are all enthusiasts with this new tech, but the 2017 December's price means nothing.

BTC is already expensive now compared to 2016 for example.

Definitely. Just tell people about bitcoin; and if they figure out themselves how useful it is, they'd decide on their own. The last thing you would want is people blaming you because you told them to invest in something that they know nothing about, and that has crashed in price.

Story time! At around bitcoin's peak, a few friends of mine(ex friends) are telling their friends to invest in bitcoin(and some, xrp) because "we will be rich soon!". Boy we all know how that ended. That friendship group sure got split into a couple of smaller groups.

I really thought there's something interesting here like a guide for newbie, even though it was discussed for a hundred times.
You should just tell and remind newbies to read those stickies in every board so they won't violate rules thus educate theirselves first before thinking about bounty.

Neither advise them on investing in bitcoin not unless you're a financial advisor. By the way, I appreciated your effort and time for the OP with such a long post that I almost don't want to read it.

$ 10 does not make a big difference in price, I remember 2017, where the difference between the price on that platform "Coinmarketcap" and when doing a search on Google more than $ 2000.
The real price is the price offered by the platform when you buy/sell "trading," others give you averages for this price:

lowest price: $4,946.41  highest price: $5,732.32 av price: 51600

Classification of currencies based on market capacity will lead to loss of your money.

While I've use CMC due to the convenience, I've moved over to CoinGecko. Best thing is that the co-founder is from the same country as I am and I attended one of his meetings.

Even before this, there were lots of skepticism on CMC's trading reports.
