Title: Do you trust in new crypto-trading apps?

Can we trust some new crypto-trading apps or it's better to trade with good known Binance, Poloniex, Bittrex.. ets?

Personally I don't, or perhaps that's just the paranoid side of me that urges myself to not use trading apps other than what my platforms provide, knowing that they could easily be clones of third-party services that can snoop into my credentials and steal all my funds. Anyway, I've been pretty much comfortable in using the Binance mobile app after having that one figured out after several attempts in using the platform from a mobile device. The UI is somewhat tricky but fluid and easy to understand once you get a hang of it, and it's definitely worth a try IMO.

I think they were in the beginning Stage So we need to take some more time to to analyse when only the exact result will be given buy me it was trusted or not trusted but hopefully e the trading apps also helpful for easy to use and user friendly interface.

All of those well known sites came from a new site, they are building their trust from zero. We should be careful on new sites but we should not underestimate all new sites.
At least we need to give them (new sites) some time to prove that they are legit.

Personally I prefere trusted trading platforms with good reputation. I know that everyone deserves a chance in business so new players appear on the scene all the time but I also like to know exactly where my data are stored, who has access to them and if my money is safe. It's not easy to build user's trust and it's very easy to ruin it so legitimacy needs to be proved.

Like what? Trust is a big issue even on big exchanges.

I suggest to observed their operations and then decide later on if it worth to put a "trust". Observing will take time as you will gather users review too.

As a beginner, it's not advisable to test waters on new exchanges. Build experienced first and believed me, you can now play with new exchanges as you already understand the risk you are dealing on.

I never trade on new exchanges. There's just too much risk for me trading on a new exchange, and most new exchanges do not offer much of an advantage over existing fees (or rather any advantages significant enough that I would switch over). Hundreds of new exchanges are launched every day, and the chances are very good that most of those exchanges are not legit. Older and more well-known exchanges are just fine for now.

Many crypto-trading apps such as tab trader and I believe you can now also trade using blockfolio, were once new also. I personally would not use newly launched apps immediately. I would wait for other people's review.

Between the two though, I would still prefer trading on exchange website rather than using an app.

Apps?
Android application or just the the application in browser?
Binance have an android application too which I used mostly for updating myself with the current price.

But mostly I do all in web browsers incognito mode for security purposes.
If what you are talking about is just web applications of other trading websites then you must really be careful with them.
Even the trusted ones can just close anytime. In and out will be your safety pin.

No. don't trust the new crypto trading apps avoid getting yourself into scam. there are many crypto trading apps rolling out every month but be very careful with them, there are exit-scam everyday. Use the ones with the highest security and reputations such as Binance, Poloniex and so on.

I do preferred much on the same way and just like you I'm too paranoid when it comes to safety and security that's why trusting out some apps wont really be that simple on my side
but rather I do choose up on whats available or being given by the trading platform I engage on.When it comes to Binance app I have no complaints yet it do give out all the things
you need which are sufficient for you to trade well.

Personally i wouldnt recommend any third-party apps on your exchange platform because there will be some huge trust issues and even if there is non then the basic thing about software bugs and improper reading of data can actually jeopardize some of your progress so my advice is do it with care and is better to wait till we get some trust from reviews

Unless the application has been developed by someone very well known and is open source, then people would actually try using the new crypto trading application. But, I would recommend people not to use it or at least if they do, then store only small amount of coins. The new application might have a loot of bugs and vulnerability issue. Give it some time and let the application be more developed before you use it.
If the application is made by some random person, then no way I would be using it.

Well, for me we can't decide if the new trading apps or site can be trusted or not because there are some trading apps which is made to collect crypto and become a scam like MT. Gox. So if you want to be safe you should use recommended exchanges which are already tested by many traders.

Also, check the exchange rankings from here below.

- https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges (Good thing with this site if you click the exchange site it shows you to complete overview and if the exchange site is having issue or not.)

From the top 100, most of them are exchange sites which are well known and mostly trade worldwide. Since you already mention the 3 exchanges it's much better to use them than new trading apps.

That's right, because the majority of crypto users will definitely choose an exchange that already has a good reputation. This is undeniable because security has become the main issue that is most concerned at this time. There are several exchange platforms that experienced hacking and that has caused a lot of concern from the crypto owners. So the new platform must be tested first, usually I will see the trip for several months and do an analysis of whether the exchange platform is suitable for use or not.

Building trust will take some time, for new exchange if that's what you mean we can use it and test if the business is for real, using small amount of your assets just to see how things works around this new trading site, all of those we called successful exchange also begin in small steps and slowly gather trust from their participants and supporters.

It's the reality that secure web site's apps or web trading better than any unsecured or untrusted apps. We don't need to try any apps which are not secured or trusted. We know there are have a trading app most of the trusted exchange like Binance, Kucoin. So, we can use those apps but not any untrusted apps at all.

I'm not a fan of crypto trading apps, I'm not saying they are bad, but I would prefer the old and trusted way of trading.

As others have said, you can end up downloading a fake app which intention is to steal your funds. Maybe there are people who enjoy the latest app, but I'm not one of them. I'm too old for this kind of stuff, I will stick to the system wherein I know better.

If you mean it is apps for the android phone, then so far, I only use tab-trader, and I don't trust the other apps, and besides that, I never try to install the other apps. The last time I tried to install the apps is causing my phone to get malware and makes me reset my phone, and I won't do the same thing as before.
But if you say that a new website to trade, then it's up to you. But my advice is better you be careful if you want to trade in the new exchange because you never know if they are good or not.

I've got into trap in such a way in the past, so don't download and start using without knowing its legitimacy. I got trapped by one of the wallet service. It had an application, I used it for months. After few months of time it got closed for maintainance and it never got functioning again. I believed in it, because it ran a signature campaign in our forum for promotion of their service.

For me, I will not trust any new exchange apps until they prove themselves as a trusted exchange like binance already proven. Why should I put my money on risk where there is available trusted sources? Old and trusted sources isn't better then from unknown new source? Same suggestion for you also, don't put your money on risk. Better to avoid risk and let them build their reputation.

I really do not feel comfortable sharing all my information with the portfolio apps that require api even on "read" let alone deposit and withdraw so think what I feel about the trading apps.

I only use a handful of places because I am basically forced to use them, not like I can continue using my own wallet forever because in the end I need to cash out my coins or even trade them when I want to which means I need to use places aside from my wallet, that results with me using other stuff but I really do not use the new ones at all, I would like to use the ones that are very high on the list and just focus on my wallet plus some exchanges, nothing else. That way I can at least narrow down the possibilities of me getting hurt financially and it would be a small chance of losing everything.

So much better to choose the most provably fair such what you have mentioned above.

Some of us, has experience at one time fall for this new trading apps that supposed to be the next generation, unfortunately, it didn't served its purpose resulting in money lost in our end. Be better to just stay with the most effective way of trading though, those exchanges that are trustworthy.

Must be a wise advice, sometime it is good to give them the benefits of doubt by testing them with our small assets because if we all keep away for them, how are we going to know how functional and solid they are, and we should stop pushing others to this, waiting for other to do the assignment for us, why can’t we be the hero and take the lead, then we can give the rest feedback for their further investigation.

These exchanges are nothing without the users, so how will they function properly if we don’t go into their arena. I just hope that some of these exchanges will start rewarding those who stood by them from the beginning because it takes lots of courage to do so.

The rule of thumb for me is to not trust any exchanges. Do not leave your money on them for too long or deposit too large of an amount. For new trading apps, you can't know if they are bad or not if you don't try. Just don't put all your trust on them.

When it comes to trading with your money, it is better to be safe so since it was new you can still try it with minimal amount, it is better to be safe specially when it was new and needed to pass your KYC ( it is common in some exchange), but they should established a good image first.

For me I don't think you should trust a new crypto-trading apps since just like what you've said it's "New" you don't know the credibility of that application or they just created the application in order to get your information (Including passwords) in order to have an access to your account/funds.

In my opinion I think you should stay to the exchange who works for a long time because their credibility has been tested and we all know that they are trusted, they also have a phone application so you can do trading whenever you are. This is all a suggestion for me there are some new crypto trading apps or the likes today that has a potential but there is also a lot of scam cryptocurrency trading apps/website so it's much better to study the website first, read reviews and other feedback and conduct it on your own before starting to transfer your funds.

Well, I wouldn’t advise you against them because everyone starts from small till they become big, and without our support or input, how can they grow big, those big exchanges have already had enough users, why not give these smaller exchanges the opportunity to also make it big too, that is why we are all there for one another but, make sure that the exchange is one that has a good reputation, with good team that are well known and has success in the past, so that in the process of helping them grow their community, we don’t end up falling for scam exchanges because I know that we will have lots of them now with the intro of IEO.

It is not true and ethical to consider each new or emerging project as bad. Although the market is being used for many bad purposes because of its bad conditions, it should not be forgotten the fact that there are really successful projects from time to time. Therefore, it will be more accurate to evaluate all recent trading practices on a practice-based basis rather than generalizing them. It is also important to have detailed information about the project when conducting an application-based evaluation, to conduct detailed research on the project team and to be informed about the areas of use of the project. All of these factors can be treated with confidence in projects that meet perfectly, but all of these factors, even if only one of the slightest roughness in this platform before you need to make a very careful decision.

My advice is just play safe because we are all talking abour money here which is very critical if you risk it to a not sure place. I'm not saying that there are no credible mobile trading apps in the industry but for me it is more comfortable to use the typical ones especially Binance. Actually I love mobile apps because smartphone is more portable than laptops/PCs, I use mobile btc wallet and mobile browser (for visiting this forum, CMC and cointelegraph) but to be honest I still prefer laptops for doing such things if ever I have the chance simply because it has a better web interface thus making it user friendly.

Well, if you are really eager to try mobile trading apps then try cex.io, coinbase or bitfinex. Good luck :)

Not saying that all of them are there to grab you and squeeze coins out of your wallet, however it is more about the info they need me to provide. There is just to many and I don't like that. The moment you realise how much stuff you shearing about yourself with those companies, makes you wonder why exactly, what their goal might be? Second thing that makes me to avoid all financial applications is the fact that they can extract info from one another. This was exploited before and will be in the future. Better to be slower and a bit less informed than sorry.

You can really trust new cryptocurrency trading app especially if they have good feedback where many people already use that app. I have seen a lot of cryptocurrency trading app but not all them capable to help all newbie to trade well and they do not have some tutorial that will guide all newbie. Many people especially professional trader still prefer to use the tradition and major exchange like Binance, Poloniex and Bittrex. However, Binance already have an app where you can trade you cryptocurrencies. Just like what I said earlier some of new crypto trading app do not have some beginner mode where will assist the trader so I recommend to try the new upcoming exchange which is Bitrus  (https://www.bitrus.com/worldcup?utm_source=ccwc)where will have beginner mode will totally guide all newbie trader and I also waiting to release this exchange because I am also beginner in the field of trading.
Having those beginner mode does really actually help but not all apps or platforms do have it thats why as a newbie trader it would be just normal for
you to let yourself learn on your own and about choosing reliable trading apps then its just normal for us to choose the reliable and been supported by many.
A simple google search will really be a great help on the selection.

I would suggest to carry on trading on old sites as the risks of using a new exchanges is heavier.

All of them are new sites that you have motioned, so sometimes it is not that easy to get proper and well trusted site, most of time we get fake or scammed one, don’t really trust it as I like to use well known and famous sites, trading is so sensitive matter it is not wise to trust new things about it we will have to chose the one we know it is has good history and invest only after hearing good reputation of it from other traders.

New exchange or an old one, the important here is the well secured system they are offering. As you can see, Binance is a well known and trusted exchabgrt but hackers seems to destroy the security and still hacked btc from them. That only mean, we don't have to trust exchanges. We can still crypto trade from them but please do not be confident enough that your funds will be secured.

I think is better not to trust centralized exchanges and finally use only DEXes. They still can be scams but exchanges with regulary checked code like waves or bitshares are good to do trades and store crypto on cold wallets.

Most new crypto trading apps don't give your any solid reasons to trust them so why would you do it? New apps might offer you some advantages like a nicer interface with better and faster charts but that's all useless when you think about the risk of them taking your money and disappearing with them.

I don't know about you but I trust those kind of things especially binance application. It is proven and tested by me. I mean if you can't trust me, then try to see other's opinion regarding the crypto trading apps you stated above. And also kucoin is very trusted. I tried those app and all goes smoothly.

This is good to hear coming from an actual user of those apps. Maybe, I'll try small amount at first and will gradually increase if I know the app is working for me. We have our own preferences when it comes to trading. If the system works for you, then great but if it's not, move on and do your own thing.

if the trading application is better than the old one I will use it but if not it is the opposite. there must be proof and research whether the application is really good for us or not, it might even be that the application is more difficult to use than the old application.

Well in my own concern I will likely want to stick with binance, bittrex and the rest known Exchanger from the past because now lots of trading Apps are fake and likely to steal funds which you have suffer for so long to get and no one will want to be in a lost any longer.

I never trust apps when in it comes trading I don't risk my money on that, and mobile is a small screen that you might get an error in doing trading. When the app is outdated there is possible that your account will be compromised with someone else which is very risky to us as a trader. Use a laptop/PC with a wide screen to easy analyzing and reading the market movement graph price.

It's not about the trading apps, it's about the trading platform. Binance, Poloneix was new too! We trusted their exchange, they developed an app for us and we are using it, that's it! Like Kucoin is now a reputed exchange but their app is in beta version, but still, I have been using it from the last year! Because I trust Kucoin exchange and their app is official! I hope you get your answer!

It is about the trading app because no matter how legit and reputable the trading exchange is but if their app is buggy and has a less feature than the web version , you cant still enjoy your trading experience on it   . also not all apps that you can see on the appstore or on the playstore are legit  but some are only copying the popular exchange name so that they can hacked and phished someones account  . we cant trust these so called trading app easily   .

as well. In short, they are all proven and tested.

I won't advice one to do such, the website should be preferable to the apps, we have bunch fake apps which will definitely still your information and logins. So we should be careful when downloading them.

For now, I will not trust any crypto currency trading app except if I found out that they are legitimate just the we have trust for of all these exchange you mentioned above. But even at that, we didn't all of a sudden start believing all these exchange until they have proof themselves enough to the world that they legitimate crypto currency exchange company.

Before trusting any trading app we should investigate about the app that is officially published or not. Because we can find sometime many 3rd party trading app on the play store and  app store which is not officially launched. So if you choose some of them you can be hacked or lost your money. And always need to aware about new trading app even exchanges.

Anyway personally I trust Binance , Kucoin and coinbene trading app which I have used before. And worked smoothly without any security issues.

not for the new platform, but when the apps were released by the old and famous and trusted platform, it would not hurt us to try a new one on apps that might be more efficient and certainly can be done anytime and anywhere

I was recently robbed by someone who broke into my Coinbase account and stole everything. I hade made $600 by earning Bitcoin from faucets and sites. Today my coins would be worth $1200

I had enabled 2FA for both login and outgoing transactions but still, the funds were stolen. And Coinbase didn't reply to my queries even after multiple tries.
In my mind, Coinbase is a Scam!

I no more trust trading apps and online bitcoin wallets.

I think that it is not necessary to trade on little-known exchange, because we have a proven exchange. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with them, all it started small, but I'd rather trade on the Binance.

Binance is a very reputable exchange, so we need not to find another exchange who can't even compete with. It has been popular for so many years and now binance had already proven that despite of any security breaches to occur they're not leaving their customers behind and they took responsibility of any circumstances that might happen.

We need to be extra careful and watchful before integrating your API to any newly developed Apps. The chances of loosing funds is pretty easy unless there is anyone that have insurance of users fund. Don't be tricked with the term commonly used that 90% are in cold wallet or whatsoever. Trade in the exchange platform directly and if an App can sustain without any attack for a minimum of two years, someone might be looking towards that direction to just try it with little fund. Not all your portfolio at once until the confidence is gradually developed.

Well, honestly I'm not easily get believe in a new crypto trading. Of course there is a bit research to make that I need to do first, because none of us don't want to make mistakes, I'm not saying all new crypto trading apps are not good, of course not! I am just giving a reminders that we need to be careful in every exchange which we are going to enter with.

I think it's better to trade with the well-known exchanges like the website you mentions. But we can use the crypto trading apps to trade so we don't have to stay in front of our computer to trade. The reason to use the crypto trading apps is for helping us to stay alert from the market movements so we can go anywhere we want, and we can always watch the market, and if necessary, we can buy or sell any coins.

Actually I never had much trust in new trading platforms. Not that I don't like new things but these new platforms and apps appear so fast and many of them are not trustworthy and there are not even ways to check them. This is something I'm very careful with.
This is same way I feel too and this is what has been affecting many investors too. I think most of them are not really sincere with their intention, and I believe that their intention is just to some and make money like every other scam projects without delivering a very quality projects to its users.

I also think that there are still enough trading applications in the market which we may not need new ones for now, because there are no much new users, and before they can ever attract the already existing users to leave their various exchanges to come on their platform, they must have that special features that exchanges like Binance and the rest does not have, otherwise, they will just be wasting their precious time in creating a platform that will not be used.

If these Crypto trading apps came from reputable sources or exchangers then I would trust it up but for unknown ones? I wouldn't tend or risk to try it up.

Making your own research would always be the best thing to be done or make it as a habit if you do plan on engaging into something which aren't you familiar.

We can't say they are trusted if we won't test their apps. New crypto trading apps are just started to gain reputation and trust, thus if they want to earn that then stick to their platform and objectivd as a trusted one with high security. We can test their apps by trading a small amount of money and if they have really good services, then we can determined it. But if you have doubt in new crypto trading apps, just prefer the old ones like Binance, etc.

In any case, we must go this way to test the application of these resources.  In the same way, Binance and other cryptocurrency exchanges at one time conducted.  Only thanks to the new information that can be obtained during testing, we and other cryptocurrency users will be able to navigate when choosing high-quality trading platforms.

It's really up to you, although new exchange are riskier to use but we should not assume we will be scam.
Just limit the amount you risk, and always read the feedback regarding the exchange.

Personally, I won't want to take that chances.
Perviously, when cryptocurrency started out, any trading platforms established then where really worth it. And they where set up by quality developers who started the coding from a scratch.
Now, many people just purchase scripts without any knowledge of what to do when the sites is been affected by bugs. I rather stick with well known exchanges, the risks is not advisable.

Binance app has disturbing features like logging out a user after 1 inactive day. I prefer to use trading applications like Tab-Trader in order to get the minimum ping on each order. For trading apps, there are security implications like trading password, second 2FA and much more. Trading-wallet type crypto applications are not safe because of the required permissions before installing the app to phone. I prefer to bookmark the link to the exchange and if the site is not mobile-friendly I use the desktop mode function of the firefox browser.

I think that if there is an official version of the application of one or another resource, then I think that there should not be any problems.  The security of this company extends not only to the website, but also to their official applications.

Well, that's not that easy to answer this question. From the one hand, I would prefer to stick to reputable and reliable exchanges like Coinbase, CEX, or Poloniex. But on the other hand, if these exchanges decide to launch their new trading platforms, I am ok with it too. For example, Coinbase and CEX created pretty good new products — Coinbase Pro and CEX.Broker, https://cexbro.com/.

Now days it's really hard to trust any kinda app for trading. I saw some couple of crypto trading apps but honestly i didn't trust them purely. But yes near future we'll saw some that kinda app you are talking about. But till then it's better idea to trade that platform which you trust. Because here in crypto world trust is a most valuable thing at this moment.
