Actually you are doing the things what is saying on your trust history,I really don't know why you need loan now if you are going to get that reward in few days.

Opportunity cost. I can earn >0.0125 between now and when transfer comes, not waiting on reward. Reward in 2 weeks maybe, anticipating 2 weeks at least.

I understand the risks, but I can afford to lose it if things do go awry. He's told me about the trading competition before, but the amount he was asking was too large at the time. He's also had a loan from me of similar size previously, so I'm somewhat comfortable with loaning him .05 despite his trust score.

Predicting he'll ask for an extension.

That's one of the optimistic predictions...
I really hope that everything will end up well (eventualy), even if trust rating said the exact opposite. Seems that magneto have a high risk meter. :-\

I think this is a risky loan and would have mixed feelings if/when the loan is repaid.

If I am ever to change my review it would be because I see a reason to do so, not because you continue to ask.  The fact that you are here asking for a loan only days after telling me you aren't is proof that my review is accurate.  Maybe you're not telling flat out lies, but you are certainly bending the truth and continue to be deceptive.

I hope you pay off this loan on time, and everything goes well for you and the lender.  But my cautionary tale on your trust wall will remain and stand as a valid warning to all who deal with you.

I don't understand how with such a red trust, you can publish such proposals? Is someone going to trust you? You'd have to be a fool to play games like that...

Perhaps next time you will give yourself extra time to repay any loan you try to take out.

Next time he'll ask for two weeks and payback after three.  But if you do the math, that's only a 50% increase in load duration, not a 100% increase, so it's better, I think.  :-\

When I loan request I try to give soonest, best-case repayment dates. Here's a better way of loaning: I'll take that date and add a week or 2, because let's be honest, 0.0625 repayment on 0.05 is just as acceptable over a month as it is over a week (25% - I'm pretty much giving myself as loan shark bait). I just hate saying I'll take a loan for a month when I expect/am aiming for 1-2 weeks.
