Have a wallet.dat file Could be ltc, doge, dash, or about 100 other different coins. Is there a way to examine the wallet w/o opening it in every coin app 1 at a time till I find the right one? How could you not know which wallet you creates on your pc ?

I have never had any wallet software there, so at some point I put it there for some reason. No idea why, drawing a total blank. Yes of course it is very possible, since you have a lot of wallet.dat folder and you are not a programmer I guess, then the best thing you should do is to go to the folder of the coin, delete the current wallet.dat there and keep adding.Have a wallet.dat file Could be ltc, doge, dash, or about 100 other different coins. Thanks, Dave Once you have one after the other until you are able to get the right one with the coin in it, though this might take you a lot of time to do but I am very sure that this is the best thing to do for now, I wish you good luck. You can try pywallet. Idk the step by step process, but I remember reading somewhere that you can see the list of addresses from there using --dumpwallet command.
