XVG was one of the most gainers in 2017, from 4 to 2000 satoshis in 1 year. Why coin shows no action for so long, while other coins pump hard 1 by 1?

Verge has turned into trash since it was hacked couple of times, can't remember if it is 2 times or more. However, I think it will not be able to rise again because there's no much active response from the dev team.

Yeah, the response is shitty its true. What attacks are you talking tho? Was it a 51% attack or wallet hack or an exchange?

I didn't know that Verge was hacked, are you sure about that? Can you post here some articles or news? i didn't find anything about that...

Was the pump from 2017 because of development or just FOMO? I wasn't sure about that.

Because every year there is a lot of competition between coins, which used to be a lot of enthusiasts like XVG to pump up the price, because when there are coins that are better than XVG, of course people will choose others rather than XVG, even though XVG used to be in numbers good in the market.

Verge was a victim of its own success in 2017 as it held many cryptocurrency enthusiasts spell bound with promises. Alas, three promises have not be turned realistic and investors interest and patience have waned over the year. That is why there's zero or little growth for verge in the market

since Verge got hacked on may 2018, both of investors and crypto enthusiasts have disappointment to Verge team,
if u know, total coin hacked is about 35 millions coins, people just think human error on the part of the Verge developers.
its cleary make a think Verge is not secure.

People lose trust on verge and this is because that hack or  mistake by verge developers and now no one think to invest more money on Verge so is possible the coin die slowly because no one will start invest on and use it.

YEAH, verge is totallydead and it is time to buy those dead bodies.
Lets not froget what this token did to us last bull market and i have them as i will surprise in the near future once bullrun days.

verge is a suprice horse, none can be sure if it is dead or alive, everything may happen, this time maybe not by a advertisement of a porn but maybe something much more interesting :))

XVG is pump and dump coin, I would recommend you to watch it closely because Consensus event is coming and Verge is a big partner of this event.

Verge has lost much of his popularity and has little chance of recovering it. I do not think that sVerge is completely dead, but I think that this coin is not promising.

because there might be a coin that is better than XVG so the price of XVG rises in a short time, but I'm sure the price of XVG will likely increase again in the future, because I think the project from XVG is very good, that why many people will invest in XVG in the future and make XVG prices increase again.

One of the most disappointing projects till date. Verge had massive potentials and got a lot of its investors interested and hoping at regarding its future. Gradually, it grew thinner and thinner until it faded off. It will take a miracle to see it fulfill its true potentials.

No, Verge is not dead but it is not good enough coin like before. Once I bought Verge for a long time holding ambition but  XVG was like a pump and dump coin, so I stopped trading with it. But it is not dead coin, just many investors moved to other coins from the VERGE!

Because verge has no demand, a lot of pumpers have been feeling disappointed with verge because the team is not doing something great. It just like when you are seeing verge as any other crap coin and verge is dead and stay away from that coin.

But, yes I had also readed in this forum about hacking.

Don't be surprised if this coin doesn't have motion at all, it's not verge that's only being seen as no movement but many other altcoins there.

Yeah right, but not only with pornhub, but with mindgeek, that is bigger. That is why i dont understand, why this big partner is not helping Verge to become mainstream.

Since they experience hacking last year, Verge has not get itself up again and this has made investors trust in it to go down. We can't even if the core team are coupable in it or not but all the same, I don't think Verge can rise again
