I know many will say the time ended, we must have bought before 15 days but I think this is the best time. Before couple of weeks ago, BTC was around $4k and which is why altcoins are overpriced in term of BTC. Now that BTC has gained price, altcoins price has decreased in term of BTC and now is the best time to pick your favorite altcoin because right after the BTC ride, altcoin will also follow the trend.

Right. It is time to pick some good altcoin if you haven't done so. Many altcoin dropped in value as the value of BTC rose. So maximize the opportunity and pick altcoin with good usecase not just some random selection while the value is still low for good profit.

if in my opinion from yesterday it's a good time to buy altcoin because the price is very cheap compared to now. but to buy from now is also good because altcoin prices have not experienced a tremendous price increase

There are cheap tokens  to invest with these days but would rather go  with the popular ones which had grown a lot like how it did last 2017. Some that we see back then are NEO, EOS, POPULOUS of course which I joined the bounty.

I do not know why all altcoins follow suit when bitcoin increases in prices? I think this is a sort of domination of bitcoin in the market. On the matter of buying altcoins, I say there is always a right time to buy them as cryptocurrency has a good future. But you should acknowledge that prices of coins are always volatile given the nature of cryptocurrency. So there are always right time to buy coins.

Full days of 2018 up to now is a best time for picking altcoins. Its all the same, price is really down at the bottom and no one can predict when everything back to green. So buying our only choice now, we cant sell our investment since we will loss profit and funds for sure.

I think that the altcoins too gained price as well because most of the atlcoins in the market are paired with bitcoin (just correct me if i'm wrong) but according to my observation once the bitcoin gains price the other alt who's paired with bitcoin also increases, I think the coins you've seen might be paired with other altcoin (Not really sure about it) but if its price is low I think it's a better entry point to make an investment.

In my opinion, I don't think we should overstick with analyses, both Fundamental of Technical Analyses.
I saw some guys draw dozens of technical indicators on their price chart for analyses.
Such overusing indicators for analyses should not be used.
Simply taking a look at chart, and volume movements, parabolic patterns, then we can easily get the point to stay away, wait for a bit more, or hop on the boat with buy orders.

I certainly agree with you. There are lots of potential altcoins in store. Buying and holding altcoins would be a big advantage for us. Sometimes, we focus a lot in bitcoin that we tend to forget the value and profit that we might gain from altcoins.

I think you have to be careful when you want to buy coins when moments like this make sure that the price of bitcoin really goes up and the price increase is not just a trap, because there are so many cryptocurrency price traps that keep traders trapped at high prices.

Its true, better pick good altcoin with good developers team or better choose top 20 altcoin. But i think this is right time to invest in legit altcoin because bitcoin price looks increasing and market cap value rising and approaching $200billions. Investing in altcoins has been here everytime and for me there is no specific time to purchase since his has been use by daytraders and some are gaining while others fails

actually mostly alts now that have still no reaction after the bump of bitcoin  is very dangerous to pick IMO. Because it always make an opposite direction and it didn't follow after .  And sometimes it suffer on red when btc is gaining more energy.  So start from now bear it on your mind and stop assuming on some alts that still not growing despite of the current situation because its uncertain. I would not dwell on top coins. Try to consider options with young promising projects. There are many of those. I chose Sound Money Coin and a few new prospective coins for myself. I think that investing in these coins will bring me a profit when there is a pump.

I have noticed this several times. When bitcoin price increases, most of the altcoin price goes down in satoshi! The same thing is happening now, the altcoin price showing green and up because of the BTC price. Anytime altcoin price will start growing when BTC price gets a stable price. Depends on how you look at your investments here. Are you for the long haul? If yes then you should have taken the opportunity way back when most of the altcoins have been <80%-90% of their all time high. That's why there are people who's shouting that its accumulation phase, because one the bull run has started it will be hard for someone to stop it.

Case in point is ETH, it went as low as $60-$80 if I'm not mistaken, now look at the price, if you buy them during its all time low then for sure you have been making good profits by now.

Most of ico's are 90% in loss, But its because dumper from the bounty hunter. for me this is a great opportunity to gain profit, it depend on the project itself if the projects are legit surely they will support the price.

They are converting their altcoin to the bitcoin caused by they are feeling panic but after bitcoin gets done with its pump and then we will see they will convert their bitcoin to the altcoin and this is a really bad idea to do that.

For me this isn't the right time to pick altcoin because market improved alot now since 4k value. And now there's a tends on it to plunges suddenly again because of panic selling after gaining alot of profits. I don't fully agree with you. Despite the fact that the price of the alts have dropped in BTC, it doesn't mean the prices dropped in USD that means you will still spend more physical cash technically to buy the coins.

I think right now you need to start focusing on the coins that dropped the most, because those coins have a lot more to go, when a bull run hits and bitcoin reaches over 20 thousand dollars that will be a return of x4 from the price, however there are coins that are x30 away from their all time high and believe me when bitcoin breaks its all time high price all altcoins will try to break their own all time high prices as well, they are not just going to do a x4 like bitcoin, no they will try to get a lot more and increase it a lot more to reach back to their own all time prices. That is why I would suggest checking the volumes of coins that is far away from their all time high, if there is volume in them than you can definitely buy some of those coins.

After the green market i believe that saying it's time would be terribly wrong. The altcoins gained value with the green market in last 10 days and there should be red market soon.. As all we see that the green market would ends mostly in 15 days. If you check the cryptocurrency history you would see that. So i think if you have altcoins you have to exchange them with some stable coins and wait for the red market ends then buy again..

You are right in your thoughts. When the price of btc increases, everyone sells their altcoins and directs money to it. And after a short time, we see altcoins start to follow it and increase.

I really agree of what you are saying, that this is a great time to pick some altcoins that probably gives you the better earnings, the important is you have to research it carefully because many coins out there has incompetent due to lack of updates or improvements to sustain the future of product.

I am not expert in terms of picking altcoins to invest with, but one thing i am sure about is that when you pick altcoin to invest with, pick the one that has the good quality and has the potential for a long terms investment, so that you can earn profit out from it, not just picking any and then in the long run you would have nothing to earn but deficit instead.

It was crazy last days, I use Huobi, and coins like SHE/SWTC/MEX grows like 200-500% yesterday... I missed all. I still prefer BTC/ETH, at least they will not make me loss a lot (I bought 10K SHE yesterday when it is at peak while it dropped 30% til now), other coins like ONT/HISTORIA/TRX/TT/BRC I will also keep an eye on, maybe they will bring me some surprise soon... Also some exchange tokens, like Gate.io, I forget the token name while I guess it will 10X in this month.

I have never really taught of choosing from the TOP 100, most of the ones I have invested my personal cash in are TOP 30, I usually have this believe that most of the projects below 30 are already turning shitcoins and only bull run will confirm the ones that are dead among them and the ones that are still much active.

I do not think it is a good time to buy altcoins. Bitcoin is very likely to go for a correction soon, so altcoins prices will fall as well. At the moment you can analyze the cryptocurrency market searching for undervalued projects to invest a bit later.

It's best to buy altcoin since it has a low value,  eventually it will increase its value. Think positive even the situation in the market is highly unpredictable.

I think it's pretty good to buy altcoins with potential but somewhat risky because the prices of altcoins are somewhat higher now so there is a chance that their price drops if you're buying altcoins then that price is too much to knock down what I can say you're just bigger than your profit because the price of altcoins has grown so much so that investors are lucky enough to buy cheap and potentially coin, especially if it's longterm we can not tell the situation now because there is a possibility bitcoin increases or there is a possibility to drop more magands maybe we monitor the coinmarket to be sure to never again lose if you have to buy altcoins now but there is nothing to worry about if longterm your purchased altcoins is sure to be longterm and the price will not fall.

BTC already broke the latest resistance near to the 5000$ but there are so many barriers in front of BITCOIN's price. In terms of price, we need at least 2000$ more for testing the next level of resistance.

The increase in the price of Bitcoin brings about a rise in some altcoins as well and i think Binance Coin is one of the altcoins worth investing into at the moment. The price might look crazy to buy in at this time but trust me you would regret in the next ten years to come. Probably it might hit over $100 in future. Well i see that the altcoin is now really stock, its price is frozen so there is a great chance to buy more and hold so think it is really a great time to pick and  buy more altcoin for good because i believe that soon it will also rice like bitcoin.

I agree, we can not predict when the altseason will come and the current time is the right time to accumulate good altcoin because of the current cheap prices. i think the right words is not favourite token mate, but a solid altcoin for long term hodl, such as ethereum and binance coin
