I would like everyone to express their opinion regarding their investments in altcoin and why you support them.
The idea here is to share as much intelligent information as possible after our own search to make new good deals.

I do not have the same strategy as in 2017, I think it is necessary to invest in projects that have successfully crossed the bearmarket because most will provide results with real utility.
I think new projects are good for short-term speculation. That's why it's wise to decompose your wallet in two parts.

1) The pieces you want to keep for years

2) Projects that your only bul is to increase your crypto capital and accumulate.

It seems to me much more risky to invest in recent projects far from the top 200 than before.
In any case the current market conditions.

I would like to know what are your opinions and your strategies about Altcoins investment? Risky or not? (Low Liquidity, far away from top 200, cheap etc..)

Finally if you were to quote (shill) me 5 Altcoins that will go to $ 10 and + and below $ 1 Today, what would be your favorite?  ( *1$ or more if you prefer )

And if you should restarted all your wallet with 10 000$ What will be your biggest bags?

altcoins investments is risky, i think everyone already know about that,
my simple strategy is by buy low and sell high, and hold a good altcoins such as ethereum, eos, ada and waves my friend
then, to find an atcoins with under $1 and will go to $10 for now is very hard my friend,,

If you are looking for reliable ones, try top coins.
Why are you investing in EOS, ADA, ETH if altcoins are risky? Also, being lower than $1 does not mean more earnings.

One promising altcoin in my opinion is ETN, if they will do what they said on whitepaper and on will continue development can be a successfull project over time. And to choose 5 altcoins will be ETN, XLR, DGB and MVT tokens i don't know really right now what to choose one more coin under 1$. But anyway invest only money that afford to lose.

Indeed, does not mean more gains, it is surely a psychological block haha ​​... 8)
But I'd rather have a coin under the radar at about $ 0.01 -> $ 1 with a lot more potential than a famous coin, even if it's risky.

 Because, as i said, i divided my wallet in 2 cases. Safe/ risky.
In my opinion, it is less difficult to make money with a piece very unpopular, but close to the top 100, because if it succeeded, the mass of investors would discover the coins and add them in their wallet.
For example, OMG, stellar, iota, waltonchain, lisk is already famous and many holders just hold their old altcoins and spend in others new projetcs, but if your investment move in the top 100, they will have more money available for a new project potential, also cause it have a better exposition in top100 top 50 etc..
It is always better to be in a project before the light.

But to talk about price in theory does not mean anything, you have to have, volume of trade, white paper, offer in circulation, total offer, graphics etc ...

I don't know Solaris ( XLR ) ATH 48$ and now 0.73 cents but low liquidity and 824th. That's risky baby haha! But i don't know the project yet. And probably your are a old holders from the ath ?!

DGB good choice, ath was 0.129 cents and now the price is 0.014 . Cheap !

I don't want to shill new coins to you, this 2018 and 2019 proved to be very disturbing when it comes to investing in a new coin, my investment recommendation should only be about the top coins in the market, like Bitcoin of course, for obvious reason Ethereum always a threat for Bitcoin Ripple, some people hate it but they deserved their place, Eos, Litecoin and Cardano, keep safe choose these coins.

I'm agree with you.  I'm totally in love with ADA even if lot of peoples have criticized recently on reddit they don't have any product yet etc.. It's a game of patience.

My opinion only one altcoin most promising right now is bitcoin cash, after hardfork of bitcoin cash I think many people have left bitcoin cash investment, but last week bitcoin cash price have growing up and will be more profitable for the next time.

I am very selective of choosing the promising altcoins which is the bitcoin cash, ethereum and litecoin and now their prices are going up in crypto market because i know there are a lot of supporters and very demand for many investors.

My first pick would be Steem.

Investing into steem at these prices, along with interest and posting rewards on Steemit is almost a guaranteed profit.
Plus the development going on is pretty exciting.

Other than that, Ether is obvious.

First of, it is hard to predict which of existing coins will jump 10x to its current price as market is still bleeding. Yes, btc is pumping but eith regards to alts they are not following the value of the KING -BTC which is very unusual if we will compare it to the previous bull market. Many people predict that bull market have started but I am not feeling it yet probably I am just used to thr previous one.

If I will invest in crypto, I will analyze the project whether the ICO project is worth investing or not, because indeed if investing in ICO is very profitable, assuming the project is not a scam, there are still many more ways to get altcoin,

I had high hopes for TWINS. Now I hope Stellar is my right choice.

In these moments of the market and according to the little I have learned from the market, I think it is best to invest in Altcoins that are the first 5 of CMC, The reason is simple, if the bitcoin goes up, they will follow immediately in a much more secure way than the other altcoins, this is due to the high market capitalization they have, apart from having a project that is fully mature (in some cases) but usually represents more security.

New projects must have a lot of clinical eye for analysis, because it must see what kind of project it is, where it is focused, if they are innovating, if they have a community and if their plans are designed to be listed in Level 1 Exchanges.

Apart from bitcoin and ethereum,I would like to hold BTX which is actually a pretty good crypto and then litecpin,monero,then some token which I don't remember the names because all of them are now very less priced.so just holding with the hope of increase in long term.

We can see the list of altcoins that are still listed on the CMC carefully, where we can choose. We know that BNB is popular and has good development, so many contribute to it and make it look lively and crowded. Besides that in Tron, Cardano, and LCT which have good movements.

Investing in altcoins are high risks investment so I always invest in coins or tokens that have better chances of surviving for a long term ,I like altcoins like electroneum ,Apollo currency ,spark points ,dio mainly became of the dedication of the teams ,they are ready to deliver

I will select altcoins that are very cheap like below 100satoshi but they have huge volume, just like NPXS, Siacoins. Because I believe that you can buy as much as you can since your funds are not too huge. But there are also altcoins that are quality and active, above top 100 market cap, I also love to buy more Enigma or Chainlink, these two altcoins are have already successfully crossed the bear market.

The promising altcoin would make such a profit and valuable. Just try to find more valuables altcoin which can make  agood  profit.

It will be difficult to choose one altcoin as the most promising coins because there are too many altcoins in the market that can be potential to increase. I feel difficult to do that, but if we want to choose the altcoin that has price below than $1, then we could buy so many altcoins. And if we have $150, we can use $15 for each coin we want to buy. I think if the price is under $1, we can choose rdd, bitbean, xvg, dgb, xrp, xem, str, ada, tron, iota, vechain, bat, crypto.com, and many others.

We could have 10 different coins which will be the next potential coin when the price can increase higher. I am sure that every coin we buy can also increase. But if you want to stick with ethereum, monero, dash, litecoin, or the high price coins, then you can buy it right now, and I am sure that you don't have any problem to buy directly in the market.

It seems to me that you need to invest in two groups of coins. These are top coins from the top 20 Coinmarketcap and the second group is young perspective coins. For example Tera Smart Money or Sound Money Coin, or anonymous Veil.

Try to find alt with low prices. Low price give you more profit. and the chance for price up is very big
just imagine coin/token with low supply but have low price , soon it will pumping

Well, for me there are a few promising coins. One of the bottom of the wave. Well, this is my personal choice and I will not discuss it) Waves seem to me a great project and a coin.

ETH and bitcoin of course because.there are no good crypto now in the market but this two. However, BCH may had been also good right now in the current state it may going to recover its market price easily. Thinking also about the XRP to which it could also pump up in probably almost 80-100# in terms of its market price. But that would seldom to happen just like BCH.

All of the mention crypto are worth to hold so this is my choice to which it will be good to hold for long.

Everyone calls projects that have already successfully manifested themselves in the market. What about new guys? Who knows the most successful projects from the bounty that have already appeared on the market and are going up. Such projects today interest me more.

The situation will not be easily predictable. lots of movements can occur and there will always be surprises.
We cannot choose which coin has good potential, but remember that coins that have a good reputation in the market will have a much smaller risk.
Choose coins that are ranked above CMC, it can make us much more comfortable investing in cryptocurrencies.

Litecoin will be halved immediately. This year, from the lowest point to the present, it has been several times. So this year I have high hopes for Litecoin. I don't know if I am as optimistic as Litecoin.

They've say, high liquidity mark of a coin can state that it has a good possibility to reach a good market price in the future, but I guess considering an altcoin with high liquidity depends on the exchange or trading platform that it is belonging to. And maybe choosing the best altcoin is anchored also to choosing the best exchange platform to consider.

In every altcoins that we are going to buy or invest We all knew all of them has a risk involve right?
But even is like that, there are still were for us it is good and has a better future on which is a potential coins, and one
of this are Ethereum due to that at the moment ETH in the long run will become POS, then Utrust also has a good plan too, then
Cred for me also was one of the good coins to hold in a long term.

Among the altcoins I am holding, I think ETH, Neo, BNB, XMR and Omg are promising projects. I don’t think I can be a millionaire with these coins but good enough to make some handsome profits.

Altcoin is promising and we can see it in the market that is moving, coins that are worth keeping Eth, LTC, BCH are also experiencing a surge and this seems to be so fast adjusting the movement of bitcoin.

It's a wise idea to not expect millions from these coins though some of them can actually make you one. I'd like to add trx and btt to that list. I know many think that tron is just pure hype and justin sun is a fraud but hey, i've made profit from trx and i'm pretty confident it'll have its break in time. As for btt, well the name is familiar and it's use is realistic.  Not yet its time but i think this has the potential to break into the top 10 in cmc.

I think of all the altcoins that exist today, the most promising is the BNB token. You might think this is crazy, but try to see the reality. only the BNB gives profit when the bear market and only these tokens are only slightly better when the fall last year. so it's natural that I want to buy more of these coins.

and one other than BNB may be litecoin, I see lately the price of litecoin has improved, and 3 months more litecoin will do halving. this gives me hope that prices will rise afterwards.

besides the bitcoin that I have or hold and I also hold a number of Altcoin coins which in my opinion have beneficial potential and among them are ETH, Ltc, and BCH. and all three are now slowly increasing, and although there is a slight decline but still above the price I bought before and I make sure it will continue to rise in the next few months because I still hold it back.

For me, the most promising altcoins are bitcoin cash and ethereum, Why? Because everytime the crypto market increase, these 2 coins ethereum and bitcoin cash had the biggest increase compared with other alts. Having a huge increase means the coin is really promising to me.

The most promising altcoins, in my view, are the following:

1. EOS
2. Cardano
3. MIOTA

The first 2 deal with smart contracts mainly and are proof of stake, and the third deals mainly with the burgeoning IoT field. I also think BNB could really take off if its DEX (decentralized exchange) becomes a massive success.

the most promising for now may be BNB, LTC, ADA, EOS and Tron. but of all the coins I mentioned I would rather recommend buying a BNB. so far only BNB has given me a big profit this year. recently I bought a BNB at a price of $10 and now the price is $18, I get almost 80% profit in just under a year. isn't this very profitable.

Cardano has been my favorite for a while not, I mean its not like they have achieved any of their goals yet (maybe smaller ones) but the fact that they have been constantly coding it without stop gives me hope. If you check how much the core code has been developed over the past year you will see that the leader is cardano and it is with a big margin, that means they really do care about their project and they do really work on their coin so that is why I like them.

I also always loved Nano because that is the fastest currency out there but it hasn't getting any love from the market, it has dropped insanely and unfortunately its not moving as high as I thought it would but in the end the idea that having a free and instant coin is definitely tempting.

In my opinion project got huge idea behind. And if everything is not scam, someday project going to rocket up for sure.
Other my favorite is WAN, coin will show itself soon.

It is very necessary for one to place that as priority, as in being selective of project before investing, especially now that we have so many new scam projects flying around and the best is to look out for already existing projects, such as the one you mention.

But it’s just that Bitcoin cash is quite getting way too expensive to accumulate much for now and I don’t see bitcoin cash increasing more than 2x of its current value for now when the bull run comes, most coins that people will be interested now are the ones that are still quite very affordable and has the tendency of increasing like 100x of its current price.

I am interested in projects that have real opportunities to solve global problems. People have a lot of real human problems. We need projects that can solve them. I am sure that many have the same criteria for selecting projects.

With prices that are still cheap and already on the 80 major coinmarketcap, I am interested in BTT. BitTorrent will make its own cryptocurrency on the network (TRX). I am only interested in real working projects and I believe that they include such as ethereum, eos, ripple and waves. As for me, it is these coins that should succeed.

For me, a very promising coin of altcoins has always been Ethereum.
During the time spent in the cryptocurrency market, Ethereum has shown that it can exist and stay successful in the conditions of volatility.
I would also single out NEO as a coin in which it is worth investing and not being afraid for your future.

There are a lot of cryptocurrencies in the cryptocurrency market that are very promising to invest with good potential ROI. But my favorites are Tron, Electroneum, stratis and Haven protocol.
Tron network and stratis are blockchain coins that can host other coins and they are very promising. Electroneum is a new cryptocurrency designed for the 2 billion + smart phone users. And Haven protocol is a very promising privacy coins.

Don't tell me you are looking for altcoin that can give you x1000,it is very difficult now,the best you cab do as trader is to buy low and be ready to take your profit at the least possible.

well that strategy isn't effective that much I think. As a cryptocurrency trader, I am not just buying and accumulating with the huge volume that I can, what I am taking into consideration is when to buy it, when to sell it. And how much should be the entry and exit points that I need to consider in the market. In that case, I consider myself, trading efficiently.

Am really scared of holding altcoins these days apart from  eth. I bought low altcoins some time ago and telling the story now is just like opening old wounds.

I would suggest pick up the top 10 altcoins that would be the promising altcoins for me and i can earn more profit from them, this altcoins have high market capitalization and volume that easy their prices to high in crypto market.

As for me, ethereum, ripple, eos and waves remain the most promising altcoins. It seems to me that these are exactly the Altcoins that will succeed.

These are old coins that have appeared for a long time in the market and have been chosen by many people in the past few years. I think at this point investing in safe coins can give you a more stable return because it tends to increase if Bitcoin gets a good price. Personally I will remain neutral on my opinion because my goal here is to give the floor to others and remain objective. But i have seen a lot of good choice, standard with no risks but certainely hughe profit in the future and others good and more risky with very good potential of return.

I have a simple idea, i m gonna make a survey of what altcoins do you prefer and with that we will have a clear vision of what altcoins you have in your heart, or in your bag, hum, the both maybe :).

Top 10 altcoin on coinmarketcap??
If you are long term holder just pick Bitcoin, ethereum, neo, eos and ripple because it have a lot of good projext for the next couple of years just always split your investment into three or four altcoin, then research carefully which altcoin cam have a possibility to survive in the next couple of years.

For me, many projects today have a very big impact on my deposit. I think that all those projects today that previously had very serious opportunities now they are starting to increase sharply in price.

That's so true ! In everything you can invest in the life you need to divised your investment in many things. As we say in Switzerland, never put all the eggs in the same basket.

In my opinion, the most undervalued altcoins from top-10 right now are BCH and Ripple. Prices for those 2 coins seem to be undervalued (I know about the recent BCH pump, but still). BCH is very much blamed because of Roger Ver, but times change, and since obviously BCH is surviving the crypto winter, it will also be able to shine in the next bull market somewhere in 2020- 2023.

While I do not see what projects show a sharp increase in price. Now a very difficult time and the concept of rapid growth is very relative

In short term i believe BNB has the most promising future, sure its already expensive but if you not look 100x BNB has the perfect roadmap and volume to sustain its prices, as long there's trades on going with further instruments such as futures and IEO, with so much adoption worldwide it would be unlikely for them to be compete by existing exchange which provides the same value but not the recognition it has

maybe what you mean is that coin prices are starting to grow. if for a growing project I certainly do not see that there are projects that grow so sharply, because what I see is that the current state of the project is almost the same.

Basically the rapid growth will only happen to the coin which was getting a big hype or at least it was including on the top CMC which can be considered as a promising coin. Remember that will always happen the pumpers will always try to pump a coin with a good update.

My all time favorite in terms of Altcoins is of course Ethereum and for me it is the most promising Altcoin. I also like Dash and Litecoin but I feel safer with Ethereum compared to the said two Altcoins. I actually hold small amount of these Altcoins way back the fourth quarter of 2017 and the results was great. I know that a lot of investors also did what I did and we are still waiting for a good timing to get in again.

Binance really do something briliant. Their exchange really growing, be big and then make their coin have a lot of demands with it. That is why people, a lot of people now make attention for this coin.

There are altcoins that are good and have higher potential however ethereum is the most promising altcoin according to me.

The strategy must be dynamic, if before I relied on Monero and NEO, now I rely on Binance and EOS, the huge volume of transactions makes me believe that Binance and EOS will be profitable coins.

I think upcoming altcoins has a potential to be promising like ethereum and other great altcoins because they could be also be greater than these promising altcoins in the near future.

Of course not all projects can be successful, this is because there are too many coins that make the competition very tight, I'm sure only top 50 coins or tokens can last up to 5 years.

I am sure that BNB prices will continue to skyrocket this year, there have been dozens of IEOs waiting for the queue so that the BNB transaction volume will continue to grow.

According to me and my thinking it is only good to invest your money in bitcoin because it has more powerful speed to increase in price and it can make huge profit for us, it will not take so long to rise in price. Better grab the opportunity as nature of crypto is so volatile and it can rise thousands of dollar within months, don’t lose the opportunity.

ETH looks far superior than any other altcoins because it has highly recognization among the investors so there is no chance for that coin to fall if the crypto currencies exist in the future.

BNB should also join in your list, BNB is a very promising coin, for the fact that it is a utility coin from a very big and reliable exchange, with the introduction of their IEO and other utilities, it becomes a coin that is being used on a daily basis, and these are the coins that are best to invest in, that even when they experience dump, because of the important role they play in transactions, the coin will keep growing gradually.

So, BNB coin is a very good coin for now and long term investment, other ones you have mentioned too are quality coins which I also have stored in my portfolio and waiting for the time there will be a very high spike in them.

ETH is the altcoin i hold in high esteem. ETH has an efficient team and its blockchain will always be relevant in this space. Also, I trade as well as hold ETH, as both are okay for me.

It is best to invest in projects that really offer the public something new and interesting. Unfortunately, many projects among cryptocurrencies do not set such high goals...But I would like to highlight a few interesting blockchains, at my discretion:

Ethereum is my bet for the most promising altcoins. It has proven its worth here in cryptocurrency. The good thing about ethereum is the series of upgrades according to its roadmap. Improvements are necessary for every altcoins especially that technology is growing very rapidly. Ethereum is capable of fitting into several transaction

I am following the Binance Coin in last 6 months and i can see it's strenght easily. I am waiting money from some business and as soon as i get that i am going to invest all  to BNB Coin. Specially in Australia there are many BNB buyers and holder right now because the Binance Coin is selling in 1300 different spot in there. Also the Binance exchange is the most strong one, their 24 hours vollume is around 1 billions of dollars!

Most of the altcoins are crossing up the bear market if Bitcoin's price is uptrend so I don't think that there's a legitimate altcoin that's increasing while Bitcoin is in a downtrend.
Investing to new coins nowadays are not advisable anymore for small time players because the waiting time of ROI isn't worth it, it's much better to invest to those stable altcoins who still got a big potential.

There will always be a risk that must be faced in an investment. But I have understood that and intend to keep investing long-term with some of the names of the coins that I have saved. They are NEO, Ethereum, and XRP.

I think you should pay attention to the Credits cryptocurrency. About a year ago, they successfully conducted an ICO, and the development team is still working hard on the project.

I like ETH in cryptocurrency very much, because it has made a great contribution to the development of cryptocurrency and due to this it is so popular and you can make good money on ETH

ETN has the biggest potential to reach the old ATH before every altcoin else in my opinion. Promising altcoins already lost its meaning to the pre investors and we need new blood in the markets. BNB also can make a good ROI in the long term.

EoS - highly technical, seems promising tho i admit i only 1/2 fully understand it haha

At this point I will put ETH and BNB side by side to compare if the case demands. I chose BNB and until recently have not been sure what the coin is up to but the team, most especially the CTO understand the terrain of the market like Roger Var. Somethings are more important and it is good to know it early. Now BNB team are one of the richest in the space within 2 years. They have everything to compete with ETH especially when their new blockchain and they are right in the market bringing in fiat into the space. Tokenomics will be more important with this coming tokens

No one has any doubts that Ethereum is the coolest altcoin, but I think here, we should speak about less popular tokens. I guess Nano, Ox, and ICON can go up this year. Another favorite of mine is OmiseGO.

I agree with you , these coins are very strongly developed and explicitly in the future will still very much to grow , I would for these coins would add tron and xlm!

My choice remains with eth. Eth is my favorite. I predict that this eth will be a potential coin in the future. In my opinion, eth is one of the coins that continues to promise because it is supported by innovative technology and can compete with other technologies on the market. Eth is also proven to provide benefits that are tangible and can be felt by all groups. Eth is very suitable to invest and even just to be stored in the wallet for the long term. I am sure that eth has a small chance to suffer losses. Whatever coin you choose, you have to make sure that the coin of your choice is a potential coin.

I would still choose ETH and BNB for this question. Ethereum proved its worth when ripple surpasses its volume. BNB is increasing quietly and it is still improving from time to time. These two are the best and most promising altcoins for me. I'm hoping they will still remain in the future.
