We cannot all lunch coins and I do not consider it as any mistake.
Believing we should all create our own coins, brings about so many shit coins in the crypto space, with no novel idea, no value, no definite usecase, no working product. Most times they do not last long and some will not even have volume after listing.

I have never launched my crypto. but to my knowledge that the consistency and uniqueness of the coins that we will have will determine how the results will be. now there are hundreds to thousands of coins in circulation and when there is no particular attraction, a coin will not have a good allure for investors.

If you are going to ask in a community as big as this, that people are not all developers and project handlers. I think there are very few that will going to answer you. But there are some websites that allow ordinary people to create their own cryptocurrency in the market. I just don't know if that really works or not.

I don't think there are lots of people on this forum which also created a cryptocurrency. And the ones that created won't be posting this thread probably.

I never thought of launching my own currency. Because I still have not enough knowledge to be able to do business in crypto market. I don't want to be the ones who embrace money and disappear after capital mobilization.
But I think that to develop your own money, you should have a different idea and have a good team. The competition is now very tough and you need to have great strategies.

I also never launched a coin, and if all crypto supporter will launch coins, what will happen? But most new coin launched die, because now people lost confidence on other crypto projects and not anymore invest on new coins like in past.

This is the place where more plain people gather. I mean, you can not meet people who start projects. This place is for opponent.

Never launched a coin and I know it's already a mistake if I'm going to launch my own. There's no way for me to get it why I do have to make such actions that I know people do it just for their own sake.

Most of the coins that were being launched has their own special agenda and it's just for collection, no use case.

Why on earth should you launch your own products, has cryptocurrency now become a game for everyone to start playing, instead of launching your own coin, build on already existing ones and partner with them if possible, coins are becoming too much that it is becoming tiring because every new coins I see for now end up becoming a shitcoins.

The only project we need now based on the need of people is any project that will successfully create a system that will eliminate all Scams and Bad ICOs from the market, then I can encourage you to create a coin and how to go about it.

I've never launched coin myself and I'm sure if in this forum only a few percent have done or are still planning to launch their own coins, and to launch coins themselves in my opinion it's very difficult for several reasons

I also think most of the guys here never launch their own coins. I think you would need a good idea and a good team behind your idea, otherwise it's a waste of your own and others time.

I don't get the real purposes of the topic. In my opinion, it is unnecessary somehow.
But, if you have to write something, I think that some of biggest faults to launch a new coin are:
- Starting from original intention to build up scam coins.
- Trying to fraud others with hidden information on instamine, premine (like Bitcoin Private).
- Trying to insert dangerous things in source code of wallets.

Well personally I have not lunched any coin of my own and for the nearest future to intend to.
But am interested in new coin. And one mistake they make is greed most new coin owners want to become rich and big over night making unrealistic promise just go get people to invest

Why on earth should you launch your own products, has cryptocurrency now become a game for everyone to start playing...

In my case - we have a niche facebook community (untited by Latvian language) and we do live fb talk shows on various topics around the internet business and not only. As for the crypto - we started exploring this topic, building miners together, doing interviews, exploring trading and more since late 2017.

I have this idea of running a real life test > is it really possible to launch a coin (not token), and make some profit? It is more an educational public real life case study :)

.. and, of course, it is always useful to learn from the mistakes of others.

.. I'm trying to be as careful as possible not to advertise anything... scouting for the breadcrumbs of experience.

I hope that this answers your question :) does it?

Creating cryptocurrency and only the programmer or the expert in the fields of the computer or program can develop their own coin.
But someday I wish I can have my own altcoins so I can earn more money once the coin I created is become successful to launch and becone popular. Many people who are the founder of the potential altcoins are now rich and some of them are billionaire.

launching your own coin need many responsibility. If you success there your name will be memorable for many years a head but when you failed to manage your own coin that will destroy your whole carrier on cryptocurrency world

I have tried launching a coin and it never worked out as I planned it because we had a very big issue which was funds, a lot of startups don't have funds to carry their project to a stage where a lot of investors can here about it thereby investing in the platform, we didn't have enough funds to create awareness about the platform, so we just had a project of great potential that no one knew about, I had to stop the project even though the blockchain was already running because I had no funds to continue working on it.

The biggest mistake was the idea to launch my own coin, haha  ;D
Lack of experience and strict plans. Trying to spend all the ICO budget to make everything in a proper way. Wasting much time trying to prepare everything for the crowdsale.

Everybody wants to strike it rich right. If one lacks the skills and the right team to launch a proper coin, then one should not try to do so at all. You would be better off just investing your resources in a better project that a pro team ICO's.

I don't think you I'll find many people around here that have launched their own coins since they probably do t have enough time to spend around this forum making posts as they are working on launching another coin or developing they coin they already have.

I never decided to make my own cryptocurrency but it will be exceptional for me if I ever decide to do it. Launching new blockchain and a new token is hard and finding the professional developers is not easy.

I never launched a coin. I am not part of the ICO team. but. certainly takes a long time. I pay attention to many projects that extend the time to sell tokens and delay distribution. Bear market is their main reason.

Until now I have never made crypto tokens so I never knew what the main mistake was when we had to issue tokens to enter the market, but many new tokens that failed when they entered the market were a big mistake in losing investor confidence when we were old in making promises to enter the market so that it will spread to various circles so that we will lose volume when entering the market.

Running your own coin is a big mistake because you will just be running shitcoin at the end of the day I think focusing to develop a good coin takes team work and some serious dedication on your part

What was your original budget? Which "new" expenses didn't you expect? Thank you.

That is a good thing that newbs left, right and centre don't launch coins every day, that would flood the market with worthless copy/paste shitcoins with very minor adjustments to the code.
