Hi everyone.
I could really use your help! And I hope it’s OK to wirte it here.

I am a student at a Danish university, and I am writing a master thesis about ICO’s from a “investor” point of view. This is an exploratory research as there is a lack in academia in this area. I am looking for some persons to interview in regard to ICO’s and the experience. This will some way also relate to traditional investments and/or crowdfunding.
The interview will take approx. 30 min, it could be over Skype or something alike and I will keep your anonymity.

So, if you have participated in an ICO and you want to help me, please send a pm. It will be very much appreciated!

No one will surely waste up their time for you to interview them about their past ICO experiences unless if you do set some funds on exchange.

Why not asking here directly on the questions that you would ask about ICO? People or investors will surely answer it out and its good that you will able to
see different opinions basing on their experiences which you would able to extent out your idea about it.

I would be happy to share my experience but I'm not sure if I could find enough time for skype conversation. It would be way easier if you could make a small survey via google app and I'll do my part when I have some time.
P.S. I hope you can show your master thesis on this forum after it would be completed.

There might be some old members who will help you but in this case I am not sure that they are going to agree if with you by doing a video call. Skype is not the primary communication tool that most of us uses here. You might be able to conduct an interview (written), using discord or telegram.

Aside from that you can simply post your question here and I am one of those who is willing to answer if I have something to point out.

Again video interview is merely impossible to happen

I do not think there are too many people who would like to answer your questions via Skype for 30 minutes (there could be some) but I am 100% sure if you could write your questions here we all would love to answer. I mean I for one wouldn't want to talk with someone I don't know for over 30 minutes just to help them, however if I see your questions here than I wouldn't mind giving you my opinions on the subject matter.

Also you should know that any big time investor that invested in many projects with big amounts wouldn't want to get into a 30 minute conversation about it since his time is already very valuable considering how much money he has, you will only get smaller investors here with this type of request. So my suggestion to you is, write the questions here and we will try to answer.

That would be a nice research and very interesting to read.
I am not sure if you will find the volunteers to make a skype call interview of 30 mins. The time is kinda "too much" for someone who will not get much from this process. You should maybe make a questionnaire or a document with some questions that you would like to ask in the interview for saving some time.
Feel free to share the results of the research here. I will be happy to read them.

Nobody ain't got time for that. Just do what other people here do and make a survey and post the link here. Or as already mentioned, post the questions here directly, where it's more convenient for members of the community to find.

If it's particularly long that it'll look like a mess here, you can just have a fillable PDF and just post the email where members can send it.

I agree with others that it's best to make a survey. If you don't want random people to take it, just open it only for the people you choose as participants. Or you could just ask the general questions in the first post and choose appropriate replies for your research.
I, for instance, never invested in ICOs but I worked with an ICO team as their communication manager, so I have seen the thing from the inside. I could share some things about it, but I am not comfortable with talking to a stranger on Skype + don't want you to know who I am.

Some people will be willing to help you with it, however, I doubt if they will spare 30 minutes of their time to have a skype conversation with you. You can just as them to send you a P.M. here or ask them directly, would be great to share your experience to someone.

So you do not offer something as incentive for those who are willing to do what you want? Sorry to say but I dont think you will find people who want to do such 30 minutes of interview for free. If you have nothing to offer then I guess the best way for you is to get your own close friends who have the experiences in ICO project.

30 minutes is quite a long time, maybe you will have trouble finding the person. but I think you can ask the core question here, as long as it's not out of the rules, so we also answer and work, as usual in my country the question is like a questionnaire

Me too. If OP could set up and host a survey somewhere I'd gladly fill it to the best of my knowledge (for free).

My issue is not having enough time to be live on skype. I think that'll make it kinda difficult for OP to get volunteers.

I don't think any one will pm you because one you are a newbie and at that the natural setting is set not to be able to send message to a new be from higher rank members, but if you outline your questions here directly many of us will be willing to help by giving you our past ICO experience cause this is the best place where you will fine different viewa about ICO.

You could not find easy target to answer your questions for free. Most of the users here have knowledge but few would agree to you to be interviewed. If you have visited sites that are still on their crowdfunding toy could see there are lots of advisers on their project and most of them are experienced and they are paid in someways. It's likely to be the same in this case, you will have a hard time looking if it is for free. So I guess you go to services and put an appropriate offer for their time.

if in my opinion, if viewed from an academic point of view, you will be more effective when discussing and discussing blockchain technology. because the wider community is not necessarily interested in ico's investment.
