Title: Help, Best setting for AMD Radeon HD 7990
Post by: ashapasa on March 12, 2014, 06:56:29 PM
Guys can any one please help me with my setting for AMD Radeon HD 7990 for litecoin rig.

I have two 7990 giving me a combined hashrate of 1.6 mh/s. My card is of his brand, is it normal for temp to run over 95 degree. Is 1.6 the best I can hope for with liquid cooling   :(.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

are they in open rig or in box also 95C is to much for this cards... you should run them below 85C according to manufacture.

I own two 7990 as well and without undervolting / underclocking you will get this kind of temps...

if you are running windows just get msi afterburner and change voltage and mem clock.. .you need find your sweet spot where you can hash stable and keep this same temps...

post some pictures of your rig and what's in your confing and i will be happy to help.

Wonder how fast the upcoming R9 295X2 will hash at. It will have dual Hawaii GPUs at 1 GHz with 2816 stream processors each.

and how hot they will be running... 7990 running extremely hot and single 290x is not cold as well.
