I still remember seeing my bitcoin price going up in the late January, 2017 - that's was my first bitcoin investment. During the mid January 2017, the bitcoin price take a dive from $1,200 to $965 and that was my entry point and I sold them later when the bitcoin price reached $2,700 around June /July that same year. It was my first Bitcoin investment though, but I still remember the joy and happiness of that time - it's an unforgettable moment of my life.

I find that dettatching my happiness to the results of my investments helps me to invest better.

I try to approach investing in a way that it's not either good or bad, it is what it is.

this helps me not to get euphoric when things are going good and not to get sad or panic when things are sinking.

My first bitcoin invest was back in 2016 when I bought 2BTC it was around $400-$500 at the time. I decide to take a break in this forum and go on with my life. Fast forward to December 2017 a friend asked me If I still have bitcoin and said that I did and he told me that bitcoin had a bull run and its price cost thousands of dollars. I manage to profit a lot with the bull run and that was the happiest investment I ever made.

Just a couple thousands in my local currency. Does it make me happy? Not really. In fact I feel a sting when I remember I wasn't able to sell most of it during the ATH and that I have to take out some later when the rate was lower. So now I no longer check the price as often.  Some degree of ignorance really is bliss.

People who bought bitcoins for 10k 15k 20k are still far to be happy. It surely gives them a little hope but they shouldn't have any in order to avoid any unpleasant surprises and disappointment. And I think all these people will liquidate all their coins as soon as they reach their BEP and will leave without ROI, or at least won't continue with the same risk level.

First time i get bitcoin on 2015 when i do some small jobs for and i was very happy, when i see how it works and i was excited and after some time i start invest on i was happy when the price goes up on last bull run and i sell some % of them.

Many people that bought BTC for 1$ or even less were happy to sell it for 10$. x10 profit seemed incredible for them and people were hurrying to fix their profits. There was even some tweets where people were regretting about selling BTC at 10$ because later it became 18$. Actually, that is why it is very hard to find any of the early adopters.
Anyway, all of the forum users have at least some BTC in the wallet and any price growth brings us some money. The problem is that the price is not always growing.

For I already experienced both, having profit and having miserably lost. Back then when BTC is still high, I have decided to make an invesments on trading, and just for a short time it gives me a lot of profit, by that time I was so busy at work and at school I just decided to withdraw my profits and hold my invesments for a little longer.

Back then, when I was about to comeback BTC has fallen, and my altcoins lost its value. Good thing I already had a profit, its not that big but I suppose its pretty like a gamble.

I agree completely, there are a ton of people just praying that they will be able to break even.  This bull run will have a lot of dumpers compared to the last one.  

No matter what I do I always have a tendency to wish I did things better, hindsight can really mess with your mind and you start wishing you sold later or bought in at a different price.

It feels good to see the value of your BTC going up, but I'm not particularly euphoric. I'm holding bitcoin not because I expect to get rich or because I want to cash out huge profits in the long-term, I'm holding Bitcoin because I wanted absolute control over my wealth, I wanted a big part of my money outside of the hands of the system. Objective achieved, cashed out my initial investment a long time ago, now I'm just here enjoying the ride, sometimes hoping that we never touch 4 digits again even though it's extremely unlikely that we'll see those numbers in the future.

Better yet: seeing your altcoin investments go up against Bitcoin, WHILE Bitcoin goes up against the dollar! Exponential dollar gainz!

That is the most joyous moment to see your investment grow in price because only then you will start calculating your profits, and not only bitcoin but all the other portfolio's you holds, I was over excited when the price of my coins start appreciating at that point my hope will start rising with high expectations.

My real bitcoin investment started in the beginning of 2017, real here means that I spend the money from my real job salary. I bought few BTC's when it was around $800-$900, I could sell at when the price was aroun $8,000 only as I did not think that it would go higher than that. When the price up to $10k I decided buy again but not as much as what I bought previously, surprisingly the price was still going up and I sold it at $15k and a bit regret as the price went higher but at least I have made some profit already. Of course it is a happiness to see bitcoin price going up.

For people who start bitcoin investments before 2017, they may have felt happiness as you experienced. However, for people who start investing at the end of 2017 or early 2018, they have not yet felt the happiness of a bitcoin price increase because they have not found a price increase since the end of 2017. These people are starting to despair and their hopes are in the current condition when prices began to recover.

I also like you that we can feel happiness from the increase in the price of bitcoin at that time.

Of course, my BTC investment made me proud, even in the recent time. A few weeks back I purchased BTC in around 3300-3500, sold some at 4400 and 4600. I'm not a day trader, but when see BTC price down, I purchase it, cause I believe the price will rise and every time it did. So, I'm happy with BTC when goes green :) 

At least it is starting to grow a little bit despite the price of Bitcoin before. Who is not happy enough to see their investment growing? And that would surely be a profit in the future. We will have to wait a little more to finally see the real price of Bitcoin when the bull market starts. For the meantime, we just have to hodl it first until we see the market moving up to the moon.

It's common that people will be happy (obviously) once bitcoin price goes up. But it's way more interesting if while bitcoin price is going up, you will really feel the advantage and "rewards" by having lots in the stash and not just stuck in a fixed quantity.

What matters to me is  continous accumulation whatever the price is.

Well then, just enjoy the current trend. This price increases really spoiled the possibility of more dip after idling at the price of $3,+++ range for several months. But remember that don't closed the doors yet for the possibility of having a downtrend that may happen anytime.

Why does everyone talk about improvement? Crazy will be a big advantage, indeed Biycoin is crypto which is very good for now at a very extraordinary price after going through several market conditions, it is not easy to achieve a good increase because it requires a very strong effort from outside investors, not in vain - keep this pleasure because we will see the next pumping.

Of course, there's an emotional attach whenever your Bitcoin goes up or down, it is a roller coaster because it's going up and down fast, that's how great investing in bitcoin because of the market very high volatility, we attach so much feeling on it, especially if you invest a big amount.

I guess most of them only lives up with the hype who doubts Bitcoin's potential at first. After they witnessed how Bitcoin broke the $10k resistance and gradually continued to rise to $15k, that's where these people entered the market hoping to get lucky and become rich overnight.
It would really take time to reach BEP with these current market situation.

The feeling that i get from watching the price go up is amazing,to at most addicting, and i think that everyone agrees here that same feeling is what keeps us going and still believe in bitcoin and still support, and that is what really kept it growing and kept it standing till this day, but the only thing that is annoying is to see all those people who don't really care much about just come in and invest whenever there is a bull run and really don't care much about its really purpose and the real meaning of bitcoin.

Addicted indeed, same with you, I believe that most of real supporters are happy, that's the very reason why they are still inside this industry trying to survive and follow wherever directions  the market will go, that experienced make us such a believers learning things is very possible if you will continue to try achieving your goals / targets.

This event makes us better and the enthusiasm to get our desires. Seeing rising bitcoin gives us positive thoughts about the future so that this sense of trust will remain and continue to be a support for the future.

I think for me it was not just happiness, but more a sense of "I told you so" towards the 1000s of negative people who were pessimistic about my early Bitcoin investments and also my on going support for this technology.  ;)

A lot of people told me that Bitcoin was a waste of time and just a short term "craze" and that it will die in a matter of months. Well, when Bitcoin went to $18 000+, most of these people begged me for Bitcoin investment advice and some even apologized for their negativity towards this technology.  ;)

A lot of them started to invest when the bull run started and they made some good profits, but a lot of them are still hoarding those coins and waiting for those profits.  :P

But when you have brought the coins at the highest possible rate then , it just increases your expectations and at the end you don't encash and wait for the market to reach where it was before and trust me sometimes it gets worse.
As for me I brought the Bitcoins back in 2017 during the highest point and then you all know what happened 😶 ans since then am waiting for the market to go back on the track but now since it is on the the track ,I keep hoping for more 😂
No idea what will happen 🔥 but still we are gonna hold till it exceeds the previous high price .

we must maintain trust and optimism so that panic sell does not occur. of course to take care of it is not easy, because the human nature wants to end immediately before the market goes to the target we planned

Lucky you that they don't blame you like they bought at peak and yet they still hold until now. I mean I have friends that bought in peak and panic during the first quarter of 2018 and now we're strangers to each other.

While it really seems that not only bitcoin is doing good but the majority of the cryptos are doing good. I won't be surprise if people will flock again here and will start to reinvest.

That was my great time in 2017-2018 when bitcoin was reaching the highest price ever. I admitted that at that time, I am making a lot of money from bitcoin and it gave me a chance to get better financial. I am happy more than I can imagine although from the beginning I join into cryptocurrency, I don't expect to make a lot of money.

And now, I believe that the time for me to make a lot of money will happen soon, and I think that there is no reason for me to stop or quit from the cryptocurrency. I will happier if I can see the market rise again like in 2017-2018 so that means, I can be able to make a big profit like before and I am sure that it will happen. That is a good experience for me.

  Absolutely, we have to be more specific for being optimism and contingent for the liable outcome of bitcoin, if we are more attcahed by the current situation we may end up on panic selling that may lead us from loses. Somehow, bitcoin's value has started growing and it would be great and fortunate for us if it will continue to rise up.

you made an investment and made a profit, this is a very good thing, but the price reached $ 19,000 in a few months after you bought it and close to the $19,000 that the price reached? you can easily see that your profit was very small. I know people should not be greedy, but in your case it clearly shows that investments in cryptos are more profitable when people buy and hold for more than 2 years

your investment took place when the market is too low and your entry point was that is the time when the bitcoin is slowly getting up from being quiet since it was started in 2010. Anyone who has been invested their money on that moment would be happy because from bottom it gains some huge profit when the 2017 comes that is the moment when the price is started to climb its ATH.

The price of Bitcoin has just started to grow, and those who bought Bitcoin, for example above 10 thousand dollars, hardly feel happy. But those who bought it at a price of about $3,500 now feel satisfied with the growth of Bitcoin, because their profit is already about +42%. I'm waiting for the price to reach a mark above $20,000 so that all those who bought Bitcoin at least expensively returned their money and did not give up on Bitcoin.

I still remember that time. It was early January-Feb 2017 when Bitcoin price was gaining because of the first Winklevoss twins application for an Bitcoin ETF and I think it was March when the price goes down because of the rejection. I didn't sold that time, I just hold and make a good profit in December 2017 so obviously I'm happy to see my investment grows in short amount of time.


All I can say is that everyone should continue to accumulate and hold and make the right decision when to sell some and book your profits.  ;D

So far with my experience with cryptocurrency, I have not made an investment with bitcoin but I'm happy with the price increase because it is beginning to reflect on my portfolio of altcoins.

It did made me happy from my entry point.
My expectation was really low that I am just looking at it like a banking system too where you could just get a little percentage every year.
But it sky rocket to a number where no one would expect in December 2017 and it made me smile like my lips would cut thru my ears. ;D

Well now, it might not be there but it already made me see what the future will be.

You already got the glimpse so why bother things will happen and will continue to make you smile even more, an early investors / traders like you future ahead will just be fine, everything will go back accordingly and it will reflect to those assets that we are holding, value will rises up and more contented and happy traders will be there.

You are lucky enough to invest during that time mate. Everybody will be happy if the table turns on our side like bull run does but that is not happening day by day because we all know that there is always an up's and down's in this industry due to volatility. Good timing is what we are waiting for everytime we have an investment regardless of how much we have on our wallets that is why we need to go with the flow.

I do not think it is a really a proper question, I mean if you have bitcoin than yeah you are happy that it goes up, its certainly not the happiest thing, I really won't say "nothing more happier than seeing your bitcoin price going up", I mean seeing you kid smile for the first time, marrying the woman you love, having your loved one survive cancer etc etc there is like a million things I can list that is much better than just bitcoin price going up, don't get me wrong that is a great feeling too but just not the best one out there.

Nonetheless, it is still not a proper question since if you own bitcoin you want to see it go up, if you don't own bitcoins than you want it to go down, if you sold early you want to see it go down but if you HAVE bitcoin than why wouldn't you be happy that it went up.

Of course, it makes people happy to see their investment go up in price, after 2018 where all the holders each month cut see their investment lose value, it is great to see it can go the other way again. 
The last two months have made me happy, and even if the price starts going south again,  we know that those setbacks are just temporary and bitcoin will over time gain back what it lost.

Well, the topic was certainly different to the point made by the OP cause he was asking people how their first Bitcoin investment was not the about price improvement and I believed you misunderstand the point cayse you barely read the OP statement.


With that been said, my own first Bitcoin investment was side ways cause I actually hold some which I sold for a good price as I thought back in 2016 while I invested some into a ROI but loose it that end of the day.

I was first introduced to Bitcoin in 2014. Back in those days, I had a website which pays people for doing surveys amd watching ads. One of my site member requested me to add Bitcoin as a withdrawal option. But it was quite a technical jargon for me to understand how bitcoin works especially I found Bitcoin addresses very complex. With passage of time, I gained understanding of Bitcoin but investing was still a long game for me. Actually I never invested in Bitcoin! My first investment was Ethereum back in 2016. Prior to that I only earned or exchanged bitcoin from here and there.
Now coming to my Ethereum investment. Yeah! It made me very very happy. I bought ETH for $12. Yes, you read right. ETH used to be between $5-15 back in 2016 before reaching $1000+ in 2017. I sold my first ETH in 2017 and made around 500-600% profit as far as I remember.

The happiness that I feel with bitcoin occurred in 2017 which reached the highest price and made big profits, and this year I only felt hope and my hope was that the highest price that occurred in 2017 could happen again.
and what I see now is that the market is back down and everything is red including bitcoin, so for now I haven't felt happy like in 2017.

It will reach the highest price again, and if it's not happening in this year, then we need to wait for the next year. We need to be patient because the bitcoin price now is up and down and sometimes makes us hold before we can sell in the price we want. But when the price can rise higher than now, we will be happy again, but I think the situations will be different than 2017 because I think the price will reach more than what happened in 2017.

I did not put a gun to their head, when I introduced them to Bitcoin. <not saying you did  ;) > ...but I did tell them that Bitcoin was and still is a high risk investment in a experimental stage. We do not know if Bitcoin can go mainstream and that it can scale or that the mining rewards would be enough to stimulate mining efforts in the future.

I made no promises and I just told them that a Bitcoin investment should be placed with their high risk investment options in their financial portfolio.  ;)

I also told them that Bitcoin is a long-term investment and not a get rich quick scheme.  ;)

You were one of the "lucky" and smart ones. Many people invested because of the attention BTC was getting due to its huge upward moves. A number of people did things like borrow money to buy BTC, or even mortgage their house, with all the hype going around. When Bitcoin crashed, some of these people lost everything and accrued massive debt. A good thing to have done would have been to invest an amount they were willing to lose, wait for a decent profit, and then cash out, even a partial cash-out to cover the investment cost and maybe a little profit, while letting the rest continue in gains, to be cashed out when the investor is ready.

..my bitcoin investment is in the year 2017 which took me to a time that I almost regret because I don't bought that much when Bitcoin is around $800,,not knowing that it will end up to its peak price of almost $20000..thoughts come on my mind that if I have just bought 5 BTC,,luckily I am a millonaire now..LOL..that cause too much regrets in my part,,but still I am happy because of my little satoshi investment,,I gain some profit in a short period of time..I am so happy that time because I hold money that I never have in past years of my life.. ;D ;D

It depends on the quantity of BTC he had then, so many people didn’t even profit, although the mistake he made was not to remove his capital and leave the profit, the profit would have really done very well for him now.

I am sure this is why you are yet to be happy with your investment lol, probably you were among the group of people like me that lost their investment value to greed, because we were aiming higher than what the market can provide.

Of course, when you are in bitcoin or in another coin and it grows then you experience happiness , but you need to remember that the price can also go down as the market is very volatile

I can still remember when I took my profit when bitcoin was around $600 or lower than that. It was such a great joy that I've found something like bitcoin on the web.

Well, every user has got the same feeling on getting to know about bitcoin. I heard about bitcoin when it was around $1000, but missed to make an investment. After a long the recent price increase has provided with a big change in the market and has made us happier. Few days back the price has started to fall, but now it stays above $5000 which gives the assurance of continued growth.

As always. Even if its on its low value state because i can buy more bitcoin unlike when its on moon. Its like seeing your child growing up or seeing your crops grow bigger than before so you will harvest bountifuly this year. Bitcoin still never fails me and continue to support my financial needs. Nothing gives joy that seeing one portfolio rises everyday, even though I didn't experience the major pump that happened two years back. Currently anytime I check either my blockchain wallet or imtoken wallet. I always feel happy seeing my coin increase daily. The bad days are the ones that always keeps me working hard to earn more tokens because am definitely sure another miracle pump will happen soon.

Everyone aims to hit the maximum of the trend and sell assets at ATH line. I never chase the perfect trade but looking for best price range can hurt the made trading decisions in my opinion.

Well the rise of bitcoin puts smiles on the faces of almost everybody who is into crypto investments. Back in 2017 i was happy when  i cashed out when bitcoin was around $15k but i later regretted for cashing it out early especially when i realized it hit a record over $19k. Hoping it gets to that high again though.

All investors will have same thought like you. The aim them to be an investor is make their money added and there no way to make their increase is the asset that they hold have increasing price. Moreover if they have investment in bitcoin that have volatile price, they will check it everyday to know how much money they got or otherwise. Indeed, each investors will have different strategy because the knowledge for each investors are different. Maybe I included to the investor that choose short term investment typically in this trend. I will look the price everyday and if there is a pump then I'll follow the movement price as often as possible because if leave it a while most likely I'll not get what I wanted.

That's right, so that it can make a very happy feeling when we get profits in the trade, and vice versa, if prices decline, our hearts always feel anxious, because of fear of losing our assets.  :D

Absolutely true I agree that nothing will give the happiness for me like when my investment on Bitcoin will be growing faster that I expected and it give the confident about the future of my life will be more peaceful and my future generation will not worry for my investment and they got a future life without any problem with their daily needs.

You can value this small increment if you do support the chain, people who are aiming bigger and have a bigger patience to wait will be happy after seeing some good indications that the trend is moving forwards, there's no questioned regarding to small or big pumped as long as its moving up it will be much appreciated, those who enter this market much earlier are investors who can wait and happily monitoring the market trends.

Yes of course i purchased some bitcoin around September 2017, i planned to hold it for a longtime but when the bull run starts on December 2017 i sold all of it. I am very happy at that time because it's my first investment that i really got so much profit and solved my family's financial problem.

And you're pretty fortunate to have sold when the price of btc was at it's peak lol. You should be really happy. For me, i've seen my bitcoins go up and i've seen it drop dramatically as well. Of course all of us will be happy when our coins do go up but i've come to accept the fact that there will be times that it'll go down also, so i'm kind of indifferent when that happens.

That's exactly what we are waiting for. There is no better thing to do but to search for a good profit. Holding for too long takes a lot of courage and patience so seeing our holdings' prices would going up is really satisfying. Yes of course. Every Bitcoin user likes to see the price is rising, there is no doubt about it. Still currently there is no room for euphoria. Price rise is not that big and at the moment we can't be sure if this will continue or is it just temporary correction. I am a greedy person so I see that the profits that Bitcoin offers cannot satisfy my greed. I made a large sum of money with Bitcoin in 2017, but I lost 50% of that amount in 2018 badly. I always try to become a winner on every battlefield.

Everyone seems to be inclined whenever the price of bitcoin increases but we must also appreciate the valuable lessons we learn if its price decreases. It would have if not for my stubbornness, and you wouldn’t still blame me because I have already been thought so much lessons by Ponzi scheme, when I was advised to buy bitcoin, even though I had known about it long time ago  was when the value was just a little bit above $1000, I didn’t pay attention to it as I saw it as a ponzi scheme, until I watch BTC grow to $16000 before FOMO pushed me into investing in it, unfortunately, it was too late by then, it may have paid me if I had sold at $19000.

But, I allowed people’s opinion to take control of me, I listen to predictions aiming at $150000 by this year, unfortunately, someone empowered the BEAR that made it defeat the BULL, which made us find our self in this position, but I am sure I will be the next person smiling. There are other ways BTC has benefited me though which is even greater that investment gains.

Of course, bitcoin investments make me happy. And no matter how much it will be worth today or tomorrow. This is my long-term investment. I will know that I have bitcoin and this fact will warm my soul.

yeah true :). actuaaly i prefer when bitcoin price is stable and altcoins go up. that way i can increase my portfolio balance better by cryptocurrency trading. anyway we miss price raises  :D

I do miss Bitcoin making these movements but I also love the price dump. Price dumps is where we usually have a chance to reinvesr again on crypto currencies. I am not that rich but I do want to gain other investments other than Bitcoin. That when the price increase happens, I already have a good amount to be traded.

I was very happy I chose bitcoin as an my investment. Whenever I gain profits from it, I felt so much relieved and cheerful. And i can not deny the fact that the recent pump makes my heart fluttered. Lol. Aside from that joyful feeling, there are so much I have learned about bitcoin like money management and self control.

For me im so happy on how my bitcoin journey is running now,ive started with 0 bitcoins from playing faucets then eventualy saw this forum and started joining bounties and first few bounties i joined payed good,i invested 0 money on bitcoin and im able to earn for free,i only invested my time here and im so happy that i did :)

Before my first investment (which came from forum works) I sat on the sideline watching Bitcoin fluctuate. Well I saw some opportunities like  long-term holding and day trading.  Here I am today still trading and working on the forum

Well I first heard about BTC was in 2014. At that time it use to be like $700. Later I bought a couple BTC when it was down to $500 but a bit later it again came down to $200. I told myself "oh really" but I didn't sell that but bought other alt with that and holded. Later that gave me nice profit.

Every time someone buys bitcoin or another cryptocurrency, basically the person is investing with the hope that the value will grow better in the future. That way he will benefit from the price difference that occurs. 2017 is momentum as well as the most popular year for the growth of the cryptocurrency market especially bitcoin whose prices have grown above our predictions. That is the first moment that makes us happy, hopefull this will happen again in the future.

Of course with bitcoin even though our investment value falls, but still have great hopes to recover that will make investment in bitcoin will promise a future happiness if we are indeed able to be patient and continue to be confident. The story is different from our investment on other coins that don't all result in happiness in the end, I often experience this and even now I still hold coins that don't have activity on the market and it's sad.

And there is always joy too when the price of BTC goes down, one sure fact is that no matter how long, price of BTC will always go high, so the most important and happiest moment to me is when I am able to buy low, if there is no moment of dip, then there is no way we can profit or take part in the high price, the more dipper price we are opportune to buy, the higher our profit will be, so people should not always be happy alone with when their bitcoin price goes up.

But, it should also gladdened their heart to see it go down, because of the opportunity it gives then for them to buy and be able to catch the profit when it increase back.

Sure there's something happier. Imagine that Bitcoin slips about 5% or 10% just as you're expecting a payment in BTC. And then as you put it up for sale, price recovers. It's like a really nice bonus you weren't expecting.

Of course, the same has happened in the opposite direction. In fact, more times than i can remember in 2018. The 6k to 4k slip hurt me especially. It all evens out in the end but it's still somehow a pleasure when it goes your way.

Nice, you didn't lose hope and never give up on your investment before. Some of these new investors don't know what to do when their investment plunge, they tend to sell it cheaper instead of selling it higher to recover what they've invested. These guys really need a lot of patience about holding an investment.

Most of us that has been following this market has feel the same joy time to time when prices appreciate and that means we should not be sad when things go on a contrary!  When bitcoin  or others cryptocurrencies went deep down it is always the best time to invest and if we can be patience when it went up we can sell with good profits.  I could remember my own own story when I buy bitcoin around $1650 in March 2017 and sold them in December 2017 with good profits that I used to buy the current car I am using.

I was happy when I made a lot money during the Bitcoins rise in 2017 but partially sad because I did not put up any good physical business for a living. My first bitcoin investment, hmm, let me reminisce first ;D. Ah, I remember now! The money I used for the first time I invest in bitcoin was came from the reward I get from signature campaign. Though it was really small because I'm only jr. Member by that time but fortunately I was able to accumulate .007 before 2017 ends. I am very satisfied with my investment in bitcoin and other altcoins. It reaches the max profit during the huge price hike in 2017. My mistake is that I did not take out the profit during that time. I only cashed out a part of it. Now, I am waiting for the price to go back to that level. But at this level, I am still on the green side and still satisfied.

thats not a problem . bitcoin should not be prioritize as an important thing in your life because bitcoin is just a currency  . its a physical thing that you cannot carry when you die .  there are other more important things out there that we must prioritize first other than bitcoin .   - just saying

For me the increase in the price of Bitcoin has given me a lot of big profits, because the more prices go up, the more profits, so I am very happy when I see Bitcoin prices rise. Nobody is happier than seeing that.

I will say Yes, Bitcoin investment always give me happy moments and still i have it. Actually 2017 was great year of Bitcoin and also it was first year of bitcoin life that bitcoin reached in a Hugh price and bitcoin changed the thinking of the investors, that's why we never forget it and i was really enjoy of 2017. I think you should sell those coins. You should invest in some of the new coins listed on CMC and have the potential to grow. when it is paired with BTC, you will see a compound interest when the price of the BTC increases and the coin price goes up. At bull run, the coins cannot bring you profits, you should abandon it.

I only had small investment in the beginning. In the first 6 month of my bitcoin investment, my money that in form of bitcoin is only less than $1000. I have tried to do trading and even faucet still good at that time. The price of bitcoin at that time is only less than $100, then I keep believe that bitcoin will be something famous and then I keep hold my bitcoin for almost 2 years more. When the price up then I sold it and get a lot of profit. I didn't regret to wait for long term because the profit that I got was change my life to be better. Now , I am more wealthy. I didn't expect that bitcoin price will reach $20.000 at 2017, I only have expected that the price will only reach about $7500-$10000 as many experts are said like that. What I have to do now is earn more bitcoin and hold it.

The sudden increase in the BTC after a long time facing the bear market made me a little worried. The recovery rate of BTC increased too fast, rising from $ 3k3 to $ 5k4 in just a few months and reaching the highest $ 5k6 in the last 6 months. I think this is unstable, high probability it will adjust itself to $ 5000 in the near future.

Anything can happen as you said if the price can rise higher it can get down too, because we don’t how the move of bitcoin will go this year, so we only need to follow buy low and sell high, when you see market has fallen and price is affordable for you, you should buy more and more because price is gonna certainly be high.

Ah yes, but it's so hard to detach ones' self from bitcoin--at least that's what I've found personally.  I can easily detach myself from a stock I own and just kind of sit back and not watch its price, but bitcoin represents so much more than a company with a stock that's trading on the market.  Not sure why that is, but it's true for me at least.

But despite the emotional investment, I don't check bitcoin's price all that much.  I do get a little excited when it starts to bump upwards like it has in recent weeks.  There's no getting around that, and I don't feel uncomfortable about it in the least.  Emotion is the enemy to all traders, but I don't consider myself a true trader anyway.  I'm just a guy who owns some bitcoin and am happy when it starts to explode.

They are more happier to use who have a lot of investment to the cryptocurrency.  Of course Im happy when the price of the bitcoin goes up because it means the price up the more profit we get. But they have envy for us those people who hate bitcoin for sure but don't only few of them only.

Just in the beginning, after a while you dont get hurt by that. But when its green, excitement is everywhere. Its not case just with bitcoin, now I have hope in many other coins too, I wait new big rise like it was in 2017, it will happen eventually and that green will be the longest and best green we have ever seen, its how I imagine the end 2020 and beginning of the 2021. Its very near even, every day closer for a step.

Since it is your money you can do whatever you want with it, but are you sure you do not want to keep at least some bitcoin on hand in the case some of the wild predictions become true? The benefits you can get by spending your bitcoin now will seem very small compared to the benefits that you could get out of your bitcoin in just a few years, in fact I am your opposite, I am keeping all the bitcoin I can and I will only sell it once it hits my target price.

Don’t get it twisted mate, you can completely rely on bitcoin to always help these projects out on their price value, it is not every time Bitcoin rises that these altcoins follows, there is a season of altcoins separately and people would have seen enough profit from BTC BULL before these altcoins starts their own, so you can still profit from all of them.

Invest in Bitcoin and still invest in other coins too, that is the wisest thing to do, if you invest in BTC and you remove your profit when it becomes high to buy these altcoins when they dump isn’t really much of a bad idea, but anyway, you know what is best for you.

I have invested in Bitcoin and both altcoins, but only altcoins has made me happy, i am yet to see what BTC has on the table.

It cannot be denied, the chance to get profit between you choose altcoin and bitcoin is same. Maybe you just lucky to choose some altcoin that you invested such as you bought BNB in a few years back then you compared it with bitcoin. Clearly, it depends on someone's ability to know or to predict the potential coin itself. If someone just depend on other people I mean when one of the altcoin price up so as many articles and some thread who discuss it in this forum then he buy it without to knowing what the coin as whole, then just give him a time to through failure that they will experience.

yep for now the altcoin really makes me happier with the price because altocin gives a lot of good experiences
I myself also invest in bitcoin, but for longterm, but for the shorterm, of course, because the altcoin will win here because the price is fast changing while the price of bitcoin remains stable at that price.

Im so happy when I saw my investment growing, it makes me feel eager to work hard and so inspired when my investment is growing quickly. But, remember this, we must take advantage when the price is rising and we must think that it could be drop quickly and we could miss the Bullrun. Don’t be greedy as always.

Seems like you took an adventage when the price bitcoin fall and is at the lower price you buy it so as when the price up such this time you have got a profit. It's rarely when someone decide to buy bitcoin at the lower price because they will fill the price will continue to fall and they avoided it. But now, this is a lesson for those people who assume such these thing. Also I agree to don't greedy if someone has been getting profit, stay to play safe and take the profit the store it for a while if the price fall again they can buy it at the lower price again.

So far some of my investment are recovering while some are not. Still im so happy cause little by little my losses are being recovered .

that is the good thing when you diverse your investment when a particular coin drops and the other one raise it will gonna lessen your loss because or even make a profit still. But sometimes it is also risky due when your both coins drops then your loss also doubled.

this is indeed a happiness for investors who invest in cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. when prices increase, of course they feel happy because their portfolio has increased. but what is clear in my opinion is that they also have to be able to get big profits and their new targets will probably smile and be satisfied.

Probably you joined bitcoin at the wrong time, I know there was a point altcoins shut very high in their value and many people that were not greedy cashed some very good money home, but this was still made possible through Bitcoin, it was during bitcoin consolidation that many people started investing in bitcoin, probably that was the time you got some altcoins that yielded good profit.

I don’t know the value you bought bitcoin, but one thing I can confidently assure you is that the season of bitcoin is fast approaching and you need to just be patient to see it, when it comes, you will realized that Bitcoin pays far more than altcoins.

Seeing prices drop from nineteen thousand dollars to a low three thousand and then you have a confidence meltdown which gives you the temptation to pull the plug and leave the crypto scene altogether, but you choose to stick around and hope for the best....few months down the line not much activity happening and then suddenly you visit coinmarketcap which shows you most cryptos are in the green...THE FEELING IS PRICELESS and DOESN'T GET OLD ;D 

its be good news for us if seeing bitcoin price rise alot.our confidence and faith could back again.i think most of investors fell now very happy , they look it as if bitcoin never reach $6k before.

Bitcoin has a bright future ahead ,i can see bitcoin will end this bear market since last year. All hodlers will benefit in the next year bull run. I hope i will get huge rewards as like in 2017.

That's very true because anytime bitcoin price goes up most altcoins also go up but i think is best to hold some bitcoin at some point in time just in case the bull run comes suddenly. Wish i could be holding about $500 worth of bitcoin which would just turn into $5k

At some point i was thinking to make a wall painting with the bull ride chart. Certain things are magical.

I agree that there is nothing more happier than seeing your bitcoin price going up in your wallet, not just bitcoin alone but other altcoins too, we just pray for moon soon.

If you have invested in bitcoin and have been holding it then nothing would give you more joy than seeing the price of bitcoin going up. Over the past few days, bitcoin price movement is very positive. Maybe we would see another pump in near future.

The first success in investing is always happiness and euphoria, as the first failures are always disappointing. Over time, you get used to success and failure. And the more coolly an investment is made, the more it is realized. This applies not only to the PTS, but also to any other investments.

In my opinion, the end result is important, the price of bitcoin today may rise and tomorrow just the same fall, but when you see that after years the price of bitcoin has become much higher than it was, then you really will be happy.

Bitcoin seems to have recovered from the Tether scare very quickly. Perhaps the market is maturing and isn't so scared about bad news any more.

It is so natural to be happy when you see you get some profit. The faster the Bitcoin is growing, the more profits it will bring to the guys, who hold it. I am sure, those, who left the market, regret it.

of course, that is one reason why I'm still here now. I started to know bitcoin in May 2017 and tried to buy a small portion, and wow I was very happy when I saw the peak of the increase in November of that year. There I sold everything and bought some altcoins using my initial funds.

I think those who have left the market is not regret. They just did what's best for them, and it seems that they are coming back to the ecosystem as the price is picking up.

So everyone is happy to see the price surge after, after correcting to almost 2%, we now have witnessed a good bounce and could be hitting $6k anytime soon.

i was happy back 2017 i was about to reach my goal but 2018 was a turning point on bitcoin price as well to my folio, my mind rejected the fact that time until my folio  turn negative
2018 thought me to respect the market , its okay to let go of your bias and expectations

now the bitcoin price is slowly going up im happy about this but it would be much happier if altcoins will also ride this trend surely it is bullish market by that time

That is a reason all holders, investors, traders and others to see their investment going up is something that will be gained when they are right to make a decision or even something that happens by accident in buying at a low price and selling right when the value is at its peak. This year the expectation will be strengthened again due to the good trend since Q1, so starting to invest or just holding what you have so far is a big hope for the expected benefits in the future.

We are in same boat mate, we are investors and we are holding because recently market has started to rise and it will continue to rise as time passes, we are expecting rise in price this NOV, because now it is not the perfect time say it is totally has increased but as time passing price is raising I am sure till the end of 2019 it will gain maximum increase in price, so such motivational thoughts makes me confident and happier about my investment.

Basically whenever an increase occurs at the price of bitcoin, actually this thing has made us happy, even if only a few% for example 5% and above. Conversely, if the price of bitcoin falls above 50%, I think it can provide happiness for those who bought it at that time because later on, they can sell it when the price exceeds the purchase price.

It will take a significant amount of time for most alts to begin to show a positive growth, investors have grown sceptic of most of them and as the price movements show many are only interested in bitcoin and other good alts, like BNB and ETH, I know it can be discouraging but it is completely understandable after the huge crash at the end of 2017 many grew tired of the endless promises of alts that were never delivered so for now almost everyone is investing in the same coins.

No one would get mad and sad with their bitcoin investment unless it is going down. As long as you can that the value of your total bitcoin on your portfolio is growing or the price itself, it is normal to feel happy about that.

Last year was a roller coaster ride and everyone has been putting their hopes on this year. And by looking at the market situation, it didn't disappoint us. About my first ever bitcoin investment, I still remember it somehow but not going on details because it was a bad one.

When i was started to invest way back 2017 its a good experience, because if you have a patience then there is a worth that you are waiting. So everyone who investing are much happier if they see the price is high and especially when the price is continue to rise.

For sure there is nothing more happier to see your money growing more because when you invest in something you will have to wait for its growth, those who lose hope and sell before their investment grows, regret later in future, so if you invested in 2017 after one year in 2019 watching your investment rising must be an amazing experience for you.

I always invest a little bit and buy bitcoin.I did it when it was worth little and Vice versa when it was relatively expensive.But always making a purchase I feel joy. ;D ;)

Today you can do the same, because if you buy Bitcoin right now at $ 6k you would have much more joy when you spend $ 20ky and keep growing, it is very normal, but it is more satisfying when you know it goes up because you knew it or had it analyzed in that way, because if you study the market, there will always be a phase of accumulation, of upward trend, of distribution and of downward trend again until beginning with the accumulation phase.

This is how I see the market, but when an investor, who has a lot of money and time, buys a lot of bitcoin and expects the bitcoin to rise, when an increase of more than 10% is already being made, it is a lot more profitable than setting up a business and waiting for the annual profit, it is much more juicy than that.

When your investment goes up, it is because the analysis that was done was the correct one and has the reward due to the effort.

If we are buying Bitcoin when the price at below $4k, its gonna be our time to celebrate cause we make gains already(huge profit).
Currently and I know that a lot of people feels bad of not buying BTC during the bear season and maybe they are on the regrets seeing our market rises back. This is how true crypto believer getting even more profitable than of seasonal investors. Better not like with them. ;D
