Post by: Marvell2 on April 11, 2019, 11:15:53 AM

Also my washer and dryer and only a year old and heavily automated and computerized with WiFi go of course , maybe the same fridge software could be configure to mine something simple like litecoin or diash?

Please point me in the best direction and thanks in advance  :)

I heard there’s a guy called Vorskoin that is expert on reviews on stuff likes this maybe he can do a review of

Hey Marv'!
If you have a digital range cooker, you could definitely earn some GAS! (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/gas-gas/)

The key here is not to go higher than gas mark intensity 7 in your miner or else you risk to fry your FOOD (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/food-foodcoin/)-processing unit.

Another interesting thing you could do is leverage the proof of steak capabilities of your oven. If you're a MEAT AVERSE (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/etp-metaverse-etp/)-type of person (VEGAN (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/xve-the-vegan-initiative/) maybe?) I'm sure you can earn a BUCK (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/hdlb-hodl-bucks/) or two roasting BANANAS (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/bnana-banana-token/) with your DASH (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/dash-dash/)washer.

Good LUCK (https://coinpaprika.com/coin/bash-luckchain/)!

A very creative way of sarcasm  ;D

I dont know if this is totally a serious question or just trolling.Im impressed on your latest appliances, why would force out yourself to mine something with your appliances if you can
purchase GPU directly without minding or stressing yourself too much on how you would utilize your things? That would have more sense.

I've heard those new fridges are really energy efficient. Five star rating. Great for mining.

You should be able to mine a bunch of coins and put them in the fridge - For cold storage.

Very secure. Unhackable.

Apart the jokes here which are all very funny you cannot really mine with your fridge and even if you could you would risk a smart appliance for few shitcoins which are not worth anything.

If you want to mine you can start with a 3 Gpu rig which costs now with rx 5 series about 500 Euros in total. If you like it you can then upscale it to your desired level.

The real question is though... will it mine faster if he puts it INSIDE the fridge?

...or should he parallel-mine with the toaster?

If someone in school told me that people would mine with a mixer or with their fridge and earn money, I would send him to an asylum. Although I do not think that someone will risk expensive equipment that is not quite intended for this.

Monero, I think it’s the main variant now, yet, I’m not sure for all the 100%. However, my mining app (MinerGate) always recommends me to start mining this currency. This service is not only smart, but also quite easy in use for beginners.the main advantage of mining Monero is the ‘Adaptive Block Size Limit’ which helps Monero’s block to be automatically expand in size if necessary. Others also praise Monero’s superior mining algorithm.

Forget monero, if you have a deep fat fryer you can get some DeepOnion! This top privacy coin can be mined or POS Staked, and it is goes well ẃith steak so you can't go wrong. If you can't mine it, go to kucoin and get some

There was a crypto startup that wanted to put bitcoin ASICs in appliances....I think they almost had a deal to put them in LED lightbulbs lol.

EDIT: Oh ya it was bitfury LOL: https://www.coindesk.com/bitfury-light-bulbs-mine-bitcoin

This is quite interesting. Why do you want to use your kitchen appliances as  mining  tools  to mine cryptocurrency??... How are you gonna configure the mining software on these appliances? Please get yourself a mining computer or build a mining pc rather than thinking of using your kitchen appliances.

Mining cryptocurrencies is a serious enterprise. Your toaster, refrigerators ,microwaves etc are designed for you kitchen and should only be used for such.Interested in mining, get some good gpu cards and you will find a lot of useful threads here to guide you.Let no one convince you otherwise that it is a worthwhile venture to mine with with lcd or gas cooker.

I'm still new, and I'm still not familiar with cryptocurrency. After I went to the crypto world, I was immediately interested in mining, I think a little risk with budget funds.
I know now, it turns out it's not just computers, kitchen equipment can also be used as a mining tool.
This is the latest knowledge for me, and I will learn more about it.

Surprised this thread was created in April and i've haven't seen it until today.

Seems like a troll post but at first when I read the topic I assumed that the OP wants to use the 240V power which kitchen appliances like the Stove or the Dryer use and plug in some miners into there.

I've actually seen people do that since they never cook at home or they never use the dryer. And its less of a headache than hiring an electrician to install more power circuits.

However when I Read that he wants his fridge to actually mine with the low power CPU chip, I guessed he is talking about something completely different. Most likely if there is enough interest you can probably mine with some console like the Playstation or Xbox however most house hold itens you can forget. I guess you can always get that Router which mines BTC, however I still think its a waste of money.

The topic clearly has a humorous bias. But seriously, for mining, special equipment (GPU, Asic, etc.) is used, which was created just for this. This equipment can withstand the load that mining causes. As for your refrigerator, it’s unlikely that its manufacturer provided for the fact that you will be earning digital money on it. You can probably significantly reduce the life of your refrigerator and other household appliances with such experiments.

You must not laugh, guys. I also thought before it was a joke, but I met curious information on the Internet. It was reported that the Chinese corporation Midea Group was going to mine Bitcoins using different home technics. They described a method of mining cryptocurrency in the process of everyday household devices, such as air conditioners, which are one of the company's main products.

Thinking up on these things will just give you out stress on trying to exploring up things which arent even sufficient. Why would people do
really love to make it hard if they can simply buy up specific things that solely intended for mining.?

People are always on the hunt for innovative ways to get crypto, and I'm sure that on the future all our appliances will be mining as that will be a very sustainable way to keep networks running with no additional hardware...
but at this moment I think there will be no profit in risking damage to your expensive kitchen hardware, as with one GPU you would have more hashrate than with all the appliances put together (if you could use them to mine)
 ;D
