What trigger you to join the competition, and what strategy you use?

I cant say wagering contest is the most popular one, but it is the most used one. Wagering contest suits for gambler with big bankroll only, gamblers will low bankroll has very small chance to win in wagering contests. I have never been interested to join this kind of competition as I realizes that I wont able to compete with whales.
Since I never joined so I have no strategies, but I guess those whales who always win in wagering contest is not even care about the contest. I believe their starting bankroll for gambling is even bigger than the total prize of the wagering contest. They are gambling as usual to make profit from the betting instead of trying to win the contest. Just my opinion, but obviously it depends on the gamblers.

Same as said above wagering contest is one of the most common promotion being used by most gambling sites specially on dice. Also some common promotion
is deposit bonus and other offers that can really spark out gamblers interest. When it comes to wager competition this would be most likely be won by whales or big time players.
They can utilize their money or financial capacity among others that's why you can really see the edge and compare on what they have reached out compared to ordinary or small time gamblers.

I never look after wagering contest, so I didn't know they was the most popular promotions.  I go after free bet if its sport promotions or low casino house edges if its casinos.

I would prefer to participate if i do able to get some free bets which do really interest me rather than wager competition which you do still need money to participate on.

Low casino house edges are just for temporal but you can barely see them now but it is much better than these wagering contest.

Wagering contests truly suck if you don't have the money to spend on it. However, I like those contests Primedice used to make where you had to wager a certain minimum, answer some stuff, bet in a certain way and get rewarded for that. With enough patience and no need to compete with people of big bankroll one can wager enough even on the money from regular faucets and perhaps a lucky tip from the chat bot. If the game is who wagers most wins, I would never play it. If it's about reaching a certain amount to be eligible, though, it's another story.

I rarely join wagering competition because in some way it's like pay to win the high rollers can easily guarantee a prize. If I do win something from the competition i'm always at the bottom half of the leaderboard. My strategy is very simple I always set the lowest multiplier and use a small bet size ranging from 1000 to 5000 satoshi depending on the size of your bankroll and use these settings with an auto bet.

Honestly I never join wagering competitions and that's because I know my chances of winning a prize there are extremely low. Especially on big gambling websites you will find contests where dozens of people participate and they are wagering huge amounts of money that not everyone can afford so you need money in order to win this kind of wagering contest, and that's something most of us don't have.

I typically don't participate in wagering contests either as I just don't have that kind of money to spend regularly. There's usually just a few highrollers on most bigger casinos that win most of the wagering contests that take place, and I've never gotten close to winning one either. I assume most people are the same way, and in the end, these competitions attract whales to sites more than regular smaller-bet users. I do participate in promotions that are targeted towards those who bet less, though.

Strategy? I would say proper managing the bankroll.

To reached the waiger requirement, we at least must be good on maintaining our funds and properly circulated it so that no such thing as continous deposits just to reached the target.

Anyways, case to case basis. There are sites that I would say, difficult to reached their waging requirement. In these, I intend not to participate there.

There are a couple of wagering contests ran on the forum in this section itself. I'm not able to find the links right now but you should be able to google index them easily. Most of the good gambling sites run wagering contests from time to time. You gotta select your favorite site and keep an eye on their official thread here.

Not really a popular one but it sure is attracts players with huge amount of money to play with. This is a guess the reason why some traditional casino player is starting to move to online gambling because in traditional casino the amount that they set for high rollers and get the privileges are really high compared to online gambling.

Might be one of the most common, but not the most popular. Only gamblers with a lot of money will benefit from it. So, I never planned to join such contest. This kind of contest is a good way for gambling site owners to encourage players to keep on betting and for the to get more profit.

Just to share, I was able to win a wagering contest before in a new gambling site. I played with their free promotion money which is just like only 2$, was able to win almost 200$ by the end of the day with the total amount wagered totaling to almost $1,000. I just took my chance since it is from free money. (Cannot post proof, the site had been dead for a few months.)

I don't believe that wagering contest is the most popular promotional activity that a casino can use. Stake.com weekly promotion is the best kind of promotion that you can give to your players. Wagering contest only benefits the casino itself and not the player. You should try to play at Stake.com and see how good their weekly promotion is.

The prize, if the prize is really huge i will join the wager competition. Also i usually check the participants too.

For strategy, i usually use classic strategy 1.01x and after that 2x and some other my favourite strategy. It's hard to win the wager competition if you don't have a big bankroll.

But I cannot imagine how much money we could use to win the wagering contest because I am sure that it is not easy to win the wagering contest and it will need time and luck before we can win the wagering contest.

If I do enter one, it's usually on websites that have low-value altcoins to gamble with.
If I'm lucky there isn't much competition and I'm able to get some decent stats in by just wagering on the lowest multiplier.

House-edge is important too, I don't want to enter a wagering contest on a dice site that has more than 1% HE.

I follow a similar pattern, but Provably fair games is my primary focus more than the house edge itself. I lost some money(Not a lot) by betting in random websites which did not offer a provably fair mechanism when I was a newbie in the gambling world.

This is something which gamblers should always check before investing in any website.

Those contest are just a way to promote their casino and I have seen users actually enjoy those contests. Gamblers are going to gamble anyway, but if they have a chance to get some extra reward while wagering, then why not take it? It's like a cashback thing for them. Again, there are some casinos like crypto-games.net that offer some extra rewards besides giving away free coins to the winners. Those user s get lotto tickets, access to VIP features which include no speed limit on dice bets!

some casinos have a so called wagering but its not a contest and they are not promoting it . wagering is just an extra feature that gives user an extra reward or a cash back like what you have said but they were usually hard  because their wagger minimum limit is too high  .

you will find your self spending too much cryptos or cash until you can reach those limit to be able to claim your rewards  .  how much if its on a wagering contest ? i think thier limit is way too high   .

How would you know that house edge offered by the casino is 100% correct at the backend. Most of the casino who claim house edges, may not actually implement it.
As far as Wagering Contests are concerned, only who do a lot of gambling with a lot of funds can only win those contests.

If I understood it correctly, this is like a promotion in a certain casino where if you have big wagers, you'll have a reward.
For typical gamblers, this is not popular especially for those who focus on a small number of games only, in sports betting, I don't know if there is a wagering contest but if there's one, I don't know if I would be interested because I'm not a heavy gambler and my bets were just small.

I don't participate on that since I don't have much money to play for, the most popular promotions are still the signature campaign and a lot more participants on this on. Wagering contest are good for those who always gamble on that site, and you can have the advantage since you've already know how that site works. You need patience on this one and you have to create different strategies.

I don't participate in any wagering contest but I think martingale would be fine as long as you would win back your money.
It would be fine if you have a huge capital and you are only looking forward at the contest not on your profit go with a small start just to make sure that it would last long.

Yeah that would be.great strategy and I always end up winning always to the game I play. But, the rules were being changed because of this straregy. Now there were limits being implemented like maximum allowable to.bet. So this time I can no longer bet more than the money I lost during the betting because it has already set a limit.

Yeah i agree, it's a bit more of gamble of some gambling you are going to do anyways for some people.

But in my case i don't really like contests because the possibilities of getting something out of it are really small and it's better to just go in a balanced way that you can predict until a certain extent. For example, betting a fixed amount of money daily is a good first step to take.

For the people who like to have that small possibility then it's ok.

Wagering is not good for small time player especially if they do have small bankrolls and martingale might be a good choice but you just need luck for this in order for you to win. Using martingale, in the long run, will not guarantee you to win it will burn all of your bankrolls. It is better if you just find your own game that you think you will win and not with those obvious ones that you will lose in the end.

Wagering the bonus amount is devil game and losing the whole amount is easy if the minimum barrier is too high. Martingale strategy is not more profitable unless gambler has unlimited bankroll and no maximum bet amount.

If the duration for the wagering contest isn't long, 2-5 hours, then I might be interested in joining even though I don't expect to finish as the first winner. But if the contest runs for the whole day or even more, of course, gamblers who have a small budget like me will have very little chance of getting into the leaderboards. FYI, bitsler has a complete wagering contest with good prizes. There are three types of wagering contests; daily, weekly and special contest. Participate on wagering contest could increase our level and get the prizes at the same time. The strategy I use is 65% win of chance and lossing event at 50%.

I can easily increase my wager in dice especially if I will play all the time.
To reach a huge amount of wager, we just gamble regularly, just a small bet but regular so we can also minimize our loses.
You know when you gamble in dice, there is a house edge and you will just loss overtime.

Wagering contest is something we can always consider to join with. However due to its popularity, it becomes more and more populated. And resulting for it to be non-profitable with gamblers who had a small bankroll. I was looking forward to joining any wagering contest but never had a chance of joining so.

Because upon checking, those people who had a chance to join and win from it has big bankrolls and I will not be able to have that, as well.
If given a chance, I would join the contest that offers free bets. That is when I will be able to experience it and have a chance to win the prize!

The same experience, wagering contests are very suitable only for those who have a lot of money with a high bankroll, for those who only have a low bankroll will only be a complement if they don't have high luck and skills, you can start with a low bankroll but at least you have to get a big odds and win it and it's very difficult.

This is a nice and popular way of promotion when it comes to the crypto world but I think that factors like you bankroll matters a lot and you would have low chances to win if you have a low bankroll. You would of course have so many strategies once you are part of the game. I prefer to be part of trading and prefer to HODL rather that participating here because it is not easy to be among the top guys who have big money and hence big chance of winning.  HODL give me little profit and I hope to make it big one day.

Most of the wagering contests must have wagering requirements and they are hard to complete. I don't really participate in wagering contests because, I never had the luck to complete most of them i joined. But, I had won some times in a few brand new online casinos. In the starting stage casinos go easy on the wagering requirements. I guess, it might be the reason that i won.

Why not you check your own, go to in the Games and Round there are few gambling sites there that offer wagering contest. I saw it there Windice currently has a wagering contest and that was a huge amount. Read it here and you will know, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=71.0. Are you looking for the current contest with the biggest prize pool or just the biggest contest we know ? If its the biggest prize pool overall I think freebitco.in had the biggest one when their reward for the lottery contest was a lambo and it's still on going afaik. Other casinos and sportsbook that also had big prizepools are Bitsler, Sportsbet, Fortunejack and Primedice.

It is really the best thing for both the owners of the casinos and for the gamblers as the owners get a great promotion getting good number of gamblers and earn a good income, the gamblers also get a chance to win a big amount according to the contest.

No, I never join the competition because that will need a lot of money to win the competition. Besides that, I use gambling as having fun, and I think that is not worth it for me if I join that competition. But I believe that many people are trying to participate in the competition because they have a lot of money and they can spend their time to play gambling. I am sure that they have a different strategy to be used to win the competition. I don't know if the wagering contests is popular since it needs more money to participate.

This is just a bonus if you are constantly gambling in a certain site.
I joined a wagering contest before but I have never won, lol.. though the reward is sometimes good, this also depends on your luck.

This kind of promotion can be done from time to time by the casino owners, this way, they'll give more enjoyment to their loyal gamblers.

I have to say that wagering contest is a promotion that does not attract me, simply because I do not have enough funds to compete with other high rollers but I think the best way to join wagering competition is by joining the one with low traffic (not much whales) so you can have better chance to win nice prize.
Strategy? It wont work, as the result will be based on your luck but I think most people believe that betting on high chance is the best strategy.

I think for a low capital gambler like me, or maybe a lot of others too, wagering contest will almost like trading competition which only make who have a lot of capital is winner. Maybe promotion that i joined usually like what cyberdice held like to do some amount of bet and get a roll maybe something like that, or maybe which a low capital gambler like me can join.

You don't need always to have huge balance first before you joined in wagering contest. There are some people who i've known only use max 0.1 btc to wager more than 10 btc or higher than that. It's useless if you keep rolling on highest win chance with huge amount because you don't know when shit happens (your bet lose after xx tried)

If you have limited budget then your chances to wager more is less that's why it's very advisable to have huge balance to roll out  more. But  if you are lucky enough to continuously win on your rolls then possibly you can stretch up your streak to and win the contest, but actually this things matter on luck and best to low roller to try to get a chance to win.

depends on your strat and luck  . its useless to have a 1 btc but if your going to bet it flat  on higher multi and then you loose , your wagger will be small compare to those who have a small balance that waggers alot because he only bet small at lower payouts  .  but but races have time limits so you need to bet big to wagger huge fast  , therfor you still need a suficient balance   . i have witnesed racers that lost alot but end up on a decent position but the prizes are not worth it to cover up thier losses   .

I think the most popular promotions are give aways the wagering contest only comes when they have enough gamblers.
I don't really join those kind of competition since I know that I only have a limited money for gambling and I couldn't realy win against those who whales.
To be honest I think that it is only to attract whales to come and play on their platform.

That's why we need luck and strat to win this type of contest but I believe those luck will fade out especially if your strat will not work out on some instance and your chance will be fade since your  balance is low that's why this things is advantage for hi bankrolls since if there strategy will not work out and lose they still have spare to try their luck again.

I once participated in this kind of contest.
I found that the safest strategy is to bet with the smallest possible (minimum bet) and the highest winning chance for the newbies to feel the competition. However, depending on the number of participants (and how rich they are), you might not move up that fast on the leaderboard. You could raise your bet if you feel comfortable already. Then, do the auto-bet non-stop.

Disclaimer: even with the highest winning chance, you could lose badly if you wager a high amount of money. This is not gambling advice, just for the sake of discussion.

You could try this method on Wolf race *paid advertisement detected* ;D

From what i have learned so far... The wagering contest are for the high rollers. The big bankroll is an advantage for that kind of contest and they always win this kind of promotion.

I like more the roll hunt contest, that's more like a contest for all and not only for high rollers.
