I can't remember date but I was meet with bitcoin when price was $800 to $900. But I had not bother to use it or buy/hodl it. Mostly time I was use perfect money as online payments received or send. You will laugh if you know why I had not use bitcoin because I laugh when I remember my paste thought.

Once I sold perfect money to my local reseller, they were asked my why you don't use btc. Because btc demand is high on my native country although illegal. My answer was, bitcoin is too volatility that's why I am using perfect money  ;D. To be honest that time I had not enough knowledge about bitcoin. However, when I understand the game of bitcoin then it was already $1600 to $1800. And I didn't late anymore, just convert my all fund (virtual fund) into bitcoin. And I wondered, why I had not meet before with bitcoin.

To be honest lot of people's are avoiding bitcoin just due to lack of proper knowledge same like me.

Intention of this post is, we should share knowledge even on real life about bitcoin as much as possible. So you friends/ neighbor will not regret like me.

I had known bitcoin since 2013 when bitcoin price was just around 500$. I was really skeptical because of it's volatility and since it is online there's no proof of income anyone can provide, so I thought it was scam. My brother introduced cryptocurrency to me and he was too eager to earn from it. I came back investing in crypto when the price was too high, and had the worst regret of my life investing in too late.

Way back 2013 I met bitcoin. My cousin told me about it. As I was remember bitcoin is almost $1200-$1500 on that time my cousin told to buy even an small amount. But I don't believe to him. And now he owns his own car and he already paid his house. I regret that I did not listen to him. And I started only last july 2017 and I hoping that I get what he got.

I just knew about Bitcoin on April, 2018. I knew it from my friend, he told me that Bitcoin was a potential digital asset. At that time, I was interested because it was the first time I knew about a digital asset that was easy to have and to manage. So, my interest leads me to join the Bitcoin asset. While for people who are not interested, it will be hard to ensure them. I prefer to look for another one who is interested in.

I found out about Bitcoin way back in 2014 when it was still in its early stages. I purchased a couple of Bitcoins, but sold them soon when it rose in value back then and earned quick profits. Was happy that I got involved with it so early in its development cycle.

Wish I could have HODLED it until 2017 like many others, but it is what it is.

The question why I did not study bitcoin at least since 2015 torments me almost every day and nothing can be done about it.
I came in 2017 and did not have time to earn on growth as I wanted. I think now such as I 95% no less and we all dream to sit in a time machine and buy bitcoin a few years ago.

..i have known bitcoin two years ago when its price is around $1,800..I thought it was too late that time for me to invest and buy Bitcoin,,so i decided not to invest because its too late,and i'll just do some faucet in order to have some satoshi,,not knowing after few months,,there is a continous price hike of Bitcoin and it hit $20,000 which cause me to regret too much because I did not buy bitcoin,thoughts come into my mind,if only i invested and bought 1 btc,probably I am rich now for I will use the profit i will gain as a capital for my dream business...haiz..that is the biggrest regrets i have in my life..

I know bitcoin way back in 2010 and then I know bitcoin was a computer coding money and is only used by programmer's but not until I was introduced to this forum in 2017 that was when I learn what bitcoin really is and how to use bitcoin for it various purposes and since then I use bitcoin where and when ever it is accepted.

All of my journey on cryptocurrency started at the end of 2016, When i see of random friendslist on my facebook share some screenshot about bitcoin. After that i was really curious and try to learn about it, then went i already enough some knowledge i try to get some Bitcoin by mine some cryptocurrency called XRB/Nano using their faucet distribution. Time by time already passed then i try to levelup my knowledge by joining at Bitcointalk at 2017, my activity started at Q3-Q4 on Q1-Q2 was really busy to faucet nano. And here we are now.

I joined the bitcoin family back in mid 2016 when the price was just 450 USD each and I regret why I didn't meet bitcoin earlier! I didn't have money to invest in bitcoin so I started trading since then and started accumulating smaller amounts since then. I can't say that I haven't heard about bitcoin before as well but didn't catch my attention just because of lack of knowledge. Also there is no legal status of bitcoin in my country which created more confusion. So I refrained myself from getting into this. However, when I did join back in 2016, it became a second source of income for me which actually helped me a lot financially! Especially when I was jobless for around 4 months back in 2017!   

It looks like many of us here have dealt or at least have known btc in its earlier years. I've first encountered btc about 4 or 5 years ago and i was really hesitant then about it but never did i think the price would achieve this point in just that number of years.  If only i had a small hint i would've gone all in.

I have no idea where are you from but I can 100% accurately say that it is not illegal. Maybe some aspects of cryptocurrencies are not covered by your local laws but no one is getting jailed for holding Bitcoins.
In case with BTC you are buying it for your local currency. In case with perfect money you are not buying anything, you are just putting your money on your account on the payment system. The amount of your money shouldn't be changed. Those two things shouldn't be compared.

I heard about it when it was $200-$300 in the beginning of 2015 but I did not make any actions (buying) as that was my first time learning about it. I think I was just like other newbies, who collected it freely through some faucets and giveaways. Probably many people regrets why they didn't buy bitcoin when it was so low in price, but I'm not regretting it too much as the chance to make money from bitcoin is still available. 

Regrets do always come on the last part.I do hear out about bitcoin when im still at college yet ive been aware on its existence the price is still on $500-700 as far as i remember but i do simply neglect it
due to non-popular thing and thinking up that this might be an another scams do exist online and after 5 years later i was shocked when it do reaches $20k each on 2017.
You would only have that thought on your mind,if you did just involved yourself into those early days then you might be rich as of now.  ;D

Unfortunately, we live in a world governed by the views of governments and influential people in central social media such as television, radio and some local ads.

Unless this generation changes and increases its desire to take risks, we will not see a clear change. Until then, it is better to promote Bitcoin in the above means after ascertaining the regulatory rules.

My knowledge of BTC was a coincidence and I am only telling people who have good technical background.

I've known Bitcoin for more than 5 years. but at that time I just learned it, I started investing in 2016 when bitcoin wanted to halving. I regret why I didn't invest directly when I first found out. but at that time had many doubts and had no knowledge of all these things.

I know bitcoin when it's around $500, if I am not wrong, and I have bought and held it for a certain period of time. But I had to sell it before the bull in 2017 happened which gave me regret. So, not everyone who knows bitcoin earlier will get the maximum benefit from the last bull run.

This is one of those situations in which the adage "better late than never" applies. I remember when it was $11, and shortly thereafter it reached the triple digits, and so-called experts were yammering about how overvalued it was. NaturalNews was claiming its fair value was $2! Anyway, I passed on the opportunity, but I'm grateful that I eventually bought in because I still think we are very early in this.

I was around when it was just $300-400 and I didn't try to hold too because I really like the idea of paying anything online and using it as a currency.
And every time I have some money that I could withdraw back then I would always convert it into Fiat or try to win some more money in gambling this is why I didn't manage to hold crypto when it was just low .
But I didn't regret anything that I do back when it was low since I manage to meet some people and made some friends.

No need to regret too much mate, I believe you are not the only one who did not manage to sell what you hold for some period of time at the ATH. I'm sure no one even predicted that it would reach that price at the end of 2017. As long as we are making some profit, then we should not regret it too much. The chance to make more money through bitcoin is still exist, hold for the next bull run although we do not know when the time will come.

I have known bitcoin since 2013. back then in my country there was a tranding topic about bitcoin.  I am really  be chagrined, why I did not know from 2010 and at that time the price was cheap.  in 2013 I bought around 1000 usd and sold it in 2014, I don't know what affected why I didn't hold on for a few more years.  if I sell in late 2017, I already have a lot of money

I involved with bitcoin in the year 2016 and yes when i start to knowing about bitcoin, when i understand how it's work, what the benefit of bitcoin then honestly i'm wondered that why i'm not meet before. Bitcoin is the most valuable crypto and also still number one. I think it's really natural and normal thing that when someone know what is bitcoin and get the all information in details about bitcoin then he/she must be wondered that why they can't meet before.

I knew about bitcoin back in 2010 when i saw a guy in the news talking about how he is mining bitcoin using his computers, i started looking around and trying to find more about it but i soon gave up as i did not find enough information and enough resources to earn it as there are today, but i regret it so much because after 5 years my friend told me about it and how much it has grown, and i was thinking to myself if i have did not gave up i would have made a lot from it, so i got back into it and learned more and started making my way up, so advice to all who are new to bitcoin don't give up.

Yes,sharing knowledge is a very good thing even if You are not a teacher by education.Many write about what you need to tell everyone about bitcoin and cryptocurrency,but I noticed a trend that many simply do not care what the bitcion.Only units try to understand the very essence of cryptocurrency.Even bounty programs are wild for many because there is no guaranteed income in this job.Personally, I try to attract my friends to bitcoins,but not many people join.

Actually I intend to know bitcoin just because some of my friends got lots of money from it. I didn't know bitcoin was money and can be used as payment system at that time (approximately in the end of 2016 ago) but I never trust to my friend that he really gets lots of money from it, so I decided to leave it and just focus on my job.

But in 2017 I feel interested to know bitcoin more because at that time bitcoin being popular and even I can see in trending topic on twitter. With the felt clumsy and a bit guilty I came to my friend's house and learn about bitcoin to him. So I decided to bought bitcoin and still remember the price bitcoin was $8000 with my funds around $500 at that time. My friend just laughed me because if I heard him previously I can bought 1 bitcoin with $500 but it's not my fortune maybe.

In my case i was researching and learning a lot and i saw it in the deep web but i didn't really pay attention to it, i thought that it was a currency only for there which i believe it's the conception some people still have.

I'm relatively new, it would have been better if i did pay a lot more attention to it in the future instead of ignoring it but it is past time now. The important part is helping in the way we can from now on and holding onto them.

I have faith that i will be able to invest a lot more in the future but it will take some time for me, i need to leave a swamp first.

Heard About bitcoin February or March 2016.That time Price was 350-400$ maybe.Reason was to invest money in rev share site.But that time I was angry Because I bought 50$ of bitcoin after two hours it was 49$ :D
But End of the 2016 I knew that what is bitcoin :)

i got to know about bitcoin back in 2012, i was a total newbie to internet you can say, i didn't know much about how things worked nor did i had money. i wish i had money back then i could be a millionaire now if i had invested 15000 usd.

yeah you right about this, there are so many people who have in one way or the other heard about bitcoin but have no idea what bitcoin is all about. They only know there is an online currency like bitcoin but dont really understand how it works and the whole bitcoin ideology. I believe if we all do our parts and take time to educate people every now and then about bitcoin usage, we will in no time make so many people get concrete knowledge about bitcoin and the benefits of using it for day to day transactions. You will be surprised how many people will invest in bitcoin after being educated about it.

I have met Bitcoin since 2014 when Primedice surged from the anonymous.

Started getting some ads about some faucet sites but couldnt quite understand what Bitcoin was a reality or just a thing in the internet.
Then when Primedice opened i was one of the first few users gambling at it where i realized that Bitcoin was indeed something you could profit to achieve fiat in real life.

Since then been using Bitcoin and understanding everything behind it from basics to advance knowledge books.

I do not remember very well how I met bitcoin, but I know that I met bitcoin in November of 2015, I remember that I made faucets for long months until I realized that I was wasting my time making faucets and decided to sell my things and buy bitcoin. and what annoyed me the most when I started to buy bitcoin is that I only had 2 options. first I had to use localbitcoin and bought using paypal and the fees were very large. and second option was to use payza and it took 3 to 5 days for the payza to approve the transaction and the exchange send my bitcoins.

to have a notion, I took $50 and received $30 in bitcoin. that is, I paid many fees, but I bought bitcoin when the price was  $500 and I sold with some profit

Of course, I asked myself this question many times. I heard about bitcoin back in 2012. I began to interest somewhere in 2014, and invested for the first time in 2016. And of course I regret not believing this many years ago.

This is a constant issue as i have often met people who have heard about bitcoin but when i ask them what they know about bitcoin, they can't say a thing. Most people know bitcoin but really don't know what it is for and the ideology behind it. I  believe if every bitcoin investor and trader who knows bitcoin should educate people they know and come across with, we will realise there are millions of people who will love bitcoin and definitely invest and adopt it for usage. Lets all do our part and try to promote this great technology.

It all happened as a surprise, and at the beginning days I was not much aware about it and the technology that supports the same. Further began to know much about it and its true potential in 2017 when the price began to grow tremendously. I never expected this and no words to express how good it was to see our savings increase in value with time.

I accidentally click some bitcoin ads last year and that made me so curious about this cryptocurrency. Though I've met bitcoin too late, I am still fortunate that I've given a chance to be a part of this growing and successful blockchain technology. I didn't regret that the price of bitcoin now is higher than the past years. The thing is, I am able to use bitcoin, been able to trade and earn profits and can share this technology with my immediate family.

A lot of people that I deal with have the same response, when I start talking about Bitcoin. The most common response is this :

1. PayPal is working, why should I bother with something new?
2. I use my credit card for payments, because it is quick and simple.
3. Cash is King!

I usually bring up the threat of centralized control as part of my counter argument and also mass surveillance and the lack of financial privacy to back up my counter statements.

Why should governments or some centralized organization follow your spending habits and know everything about your finances?

I agree with your conclusion line. Peoples really need to get themselves ample of knowledge to trade and invest into bitcoins. It is never too late to invest in bitcoins and even now might be the time if any individual might want to start into. Even I am speculating the bitcoin market since long years but I invested very lately which yet gave me profits but comparatively low as compared to if I would have invested few more couple of years ago.

Price for bitcoins was less than a dollar and it really makes each one of us feel that they are pretty late to enter into the field of the cryptos but it is not that. You can even start now as no one knows the future price for bitcoins.

Even though it is hard to understand most of what you are trying to say I feel you bruh. We all make mistakes, and those mistakes teach us lessons for us to be better once again. Now if you did not encounter such mistakes you wouldn't be here at all, it is destined and you should be grateful that you and I are one of chosen few who might be having good profits later on. You can still call us early adopters, there are more years to come and all of those regrets before should just be forgotten and move on. Buy what you can now, that will make most of the gaps you haven't filled. Even me thought that what if I have been a pioneer investors? Would I be rich by now? I guess not or I guess yes, we clearly don't know the future.

I know I first heard about Bitcoin back in 2011, but I didn't look further into it back then.
My first Bitcoin wallet was created in late 2012 and I bought a whopping 40 dollars worth of Bitcoin back then.

Now, I don't really regret that I didn't buy any Bitcoin in 2011, I probably would have spent it anyway if the price went up :P

With this perspective I can bet than you will go much ahead in the field of cryptocurrencies. It is never that late to start your career into the cryptos. Many of the peoples over here have started because they found out about the technology on some kind of ads while they are simply surfing the internet to get some income source for them.

This kind of promotion was proven much useful and also we saw that a huge community joined the cryptocurrencies. Even after the price for bitcoins is such high currently, I think that getting into it would not actually be that challenging for much of the community. Earning a passive income is really easy in terms of the cryptos.

I had bitcoin since 2014 and I already try to invest from faucet - gambling - signature until now.
I just regret on how much I invest on past time.

about 2 years ago, I joined bitcoin and crypto currencies on a trade in Bittrex and Poloniex. I had known it before, but I understand why I didn't join in from the beginning. that is because of an internet connection constraint at my place of residence.

Firstly, I believe the time you're talking was the year 2016 before or around the bitcoin halving which was also the time I step into crypto currency either. However, I support what you said in terms of people that lack the proper knowledge about bitcoin are those that avoid bitcoin because I also on the same road back in the year 2011 but I was like bitcoin will be like the e-gold which alot of investors looses their money.

Just years ago when i enter cryptocurrency though it was presented for me by a cousin whos one of the early adopters of bitcoin

Each and every one of us all(early/mid adopters and newbie) made some mistakes which will once regret and making the same mistake what shouldn't be allow. However, my own mistake is chasing after a job which I'm not into now because I'm from a family that believe hardworking and no time wasting the best way to thrive in life so I see bitcoin as a scam then.

Well my story is something older, it was in 2009. I was in college, and a friend, the same one who got me into this world, told me I was in faucets, that I had received many coins that was called bitcoin, that I got , and I did not give importance, I said: Everything on the Internet is a lie, that never works, that is to take the time to people, then I did not give importance, he told me that he had an average of 500 Bitcoin.

Then as the years went by in 2017, I met him and he told me about the same topic, he told me that the wallet he had had his address private and public, but that the pendrive had been damaged, I mean, he has a lot of money there totally lost, it was when I realized that if I had paid more attention, I also had many bitcoins, maybe if we had left our university career at that time to have dedicated ourselves totally to bitcoin, we would be possible Strong Hands today, but happens, that's why the opportunities can not be missed, I formally joined this world in 2017 when I started to put interest into projects.

I have known Bitcoin ever since 2017 and have already purchased my first Bitcoin at the same year and as far as I remember, the price of Bitcoin when I first got my attention is already at $2,500. I got involved when having McDonald's lunch then I spotted odd looking building (pink color ) with a atm machine. Decided to have a look . Managed to have a chat the customer service personal there and out of curiosity bought my 1st Bitcoin thru that machine....that was like few years ago

Similar with me, I started dealing with Bitcoin in 2013. So, this is a quite of experience by now. I also tried almost everything that was available from faucets and gambling to trading. I made some bad decisions in trading that cost me a lot of money but that was process of learning.

I never regreted that I started dealing with Bitcoin and I plan to stay no matter what. The situation with price is looking good now but just because of experience I'm still very cautious with predictions.

I have first jump into knowing Bitcoin wayback 2017 when it was still on its base price which is a lot more available that time and have also witnessed the sudden downfall by the mid-year of 2017 and all of a sudden a massive increase that reached up to the peak price of $20,000 up to the last day of the same year. I still have hold into keeping my Bitcoin in tack within my crypto wallet despite of the fact that the downfall have begin when the year 2018 have started and good thing that while I am still waiting until the price stabilizes again into a large market value is I have found a crypto casino like you do have which is Vegas casino in which I manage to work into my Bitcoin usage through playing gambling and enjoying their variety of games that they have as well as their great deals of bonuses for doing my deposits in terms of Bitcoin in which I do test my luck to win up the reward to gain more Bitcoins that I can hold up while still waiting for the bull run to come over again.

I got to know bitcoin while the price were around 1500$ i was doing some faucets and other things to earn bitcoin .I hardly done some 10$ using this then i encash to real money then got real trust . Started search bitcoin trading , mining , earning all the possibility ways . But i never felt i am too late because people surrounding me always handling with computer still they don't understand bitcoin or other crypto currencies.

I have been around since 2014 and no, I don't regret don't being involved for longer but I surely do regret the fact that I spent all my cryptos earning (back to 2014-2015) buying plushies from the Chinese markets lol

Agreed. It's good to bring more people to crypto currency as we are helping the adoption (demand) to increase, consequently we are helping btc price to rise, what is good for everyone, I suppose. Those good times btc was cheap have already gone, but new investors can still benefit themselves.
I just think we shouldn't give details about our personal hodlings and earnings, even to our friends, because bitcoin can be very valuable, and we are aware at this point about what might happen when people know or think we have much money in our possession.

I had the same vision as you considering eveything could smell fake and scam. But then i realized hey why just not do some research into cryptocurrencies myself and my own way?
And so which i did and i am just glad the road i have taken so far and where it led me. Just make sure you read and understanding everything you need about cryptocurrencies and all Alt coins you invest for example.

I have been a crypto trader for more than 2 years. I'm just sorry and always thinking, why I just found out at that time. if I knew crypto from the beginning, maybe I already had a lot of things. even so, I'm still grateful for being able to make a profit. if compared to those who have only known a few months, they certainly have not made a profit

Well i remeber the year 2015 and the price at that time was 300$ if i'm not wrong, and i get at that time some bitcoin after i exchange a coin mined with mobile, in fact was given by walking with phone turn on, and after i get more from doing some jobs and after i trade, but at that time i not hold it for long and i made wrong decision. I wonder why i not found it on 2010 so i can mine it with pc, at that time i use internet a lot but didn't find about it.

Cant remember when I started using it regularly to be honest but it does occur to me my life would be different if I had not encountered bitcoin and cryptocurrency as a whole.
It does make life simpler to move value of funds around to others across the globe without needing to have a middle man involved.
Which would usually mean you will need to pay them a piece of the transfer for them to complete the transaction for you and it was a rather large amount in the end. :-\

I discovered bitcoin when the price was around $400-500$, I think it was 3-4 years ago. I remember back then you could earn 10k Satoshi in a matter of minutes but obviously that seemed to low at that moment and I avoid faucets and micro earning websites. I also remember campaign paying up to 0.05btc weekly and that would have worth $400 weekly now.

we underestimate BTC at the beginning of the emergence, because there are a lot of bad issues about BTC and we don't dare to bet on it. now we feel disappointment from it. if the BTC price returns like it used to, I don't think we will miss it again. Imagine if BTC returns to the price of $400 I will put everything in order and buy BTC a lot because I am sure I will not repeat the same mistake.

I got into bitcoin when the price was at around 8-13 dollars. It was 2012. Mining on a PC was just getting phased out and good GPU's were king. It was about a year before the first ASICS.

I decided to get an ASIC from BFL. It was a total disaster but it more than made its money back. I used most of the bitcoin I mined to buy things so I can prove to myself and others that it works. I kept only a tiny amount of bitcoin. I lost a decent amount of altcoins in exchanges that shut down. Cryptsy was one of them but I dodged Mt.Gox

It's still early to get into bitcoin, but I wish I was one of the early miners solo-mining blocks of 50 and what-not.
