Binance exchange has decided to delist and cease trading on all trading pairs for Bitcoin SV (BCHSV) starting from April 22nd, 2019.

It seems that  Binance CEO wasn’t joking when he threatened to delist Bitcoin SV from the exchange.


Exchange’s users will no be able to trade all the pairs for Bitcoin SV (BCHSV) starting from April 22nd, 2019 at 10:00 am (UTC).

The official statement reads:

“At Binance, we periodically review each digital asset we list to ensure that it continues to meet the high level of standard we expect,” the company wrote in a blog post. “When a coin or token no longer meets this standard, or the industry changes, we conduct a more in-depth review and potentially delist it. We believe this best protects all of our users.”

Why!? May cry out crypto community. While the reasons are obvious (especially for those familiar with the recent buzz around Craig Wright and his law suit letters), Binance camouflages its decision by presenting a number of factors they review to decide whether any coin is worth listing on this leading exchange, or not.

This being said, Bitcoin SV failed to prove its:

Commitment of team to project
Level and quality of development activity
Network / smart contract stability
Level of public communication
Responsiveness to our periodic due diligence requests
Evidence of unethical / fraudulent conduct
Contribution to a healthy and sustainable crypto ecosystem

Thanks for the information but but why so Binance planning to delist this coin. Like bitcoin cash this also settle in one value and market seems going well for this coin itseems. If there is any press release from the Binance CEO about this news please share that too here.

If you are BSV hodler please sell it for USDT or BTC for the own security that is my advice for the hodlers.

Not that "breaking" in my opinion. This coin was made to squeeze money from investors who dont do their homework and understand what they are investing in. I hope Binance keeps delisting other coins, too. Would be very healthy for the market in general.

Binance didn't really planned do delist a coin, what I know there's an issue about his words with CW that made CZ delist that coin.

That's real quick, delisting a coin can really create that impact that we aren't expecting. To those that still has this coins, you better start selling it before the current price cuts more.

Well i never thought this twitter war will get to this point and now the game seems to enter the climax where bsv is loosing as a project if all exchanges delist bsv i think it will become a dead coin and maybe only option for the team will be to rebrand it and re name it and then again list it but give a gap of few months before doing this.

It is sad for those people who had this BSV coin. For sure they will sell it on a cheap price and for sure the value of BSV coin will get down in some markets. Binance has its standards that BSV owner and developers can't achieve. That is good to hear knowing that binance is the number one exchanger and those token that is not good in the market should be delisted.

I think we all expected that and, unfortunately, it was a necessary evil. BSV needed to dissapear, even though it meant that Bcash was going to shoot up in price, but let's see how long this uptrend is gonna last, if I were a Bcash bagholder, I would definitely cash out some profits over the next few days.

Kraken exchange make pool for their user to choose whether their user want to delist BCHsv or no.

I am not surprised about the delisting of BSV from the leading crypto exchange "Binance". The CEO categorically stated this on his response to the twitter war. This will further make the market to strong and wipe away all pretending scams call FORK. I am much pretty sure that this will not be the end of the episode. More surprises are still on the way. Hope we will get who is real SATOSHI one day.

With this news, some other exchanges might also consider delisting BSV, and people will be selling to buy back BCH.
At this news, BCH will just rise, and I see it having a good increase today despite other major coins have dump again.

This is what I meant with my statement. They should continue and delist the majority of the coins with no real usecase except being a pump and dump coin. Would be very healthy for the crypto space in general.

The reason why the price Bitcoin SV decreased almost 25% based on coinmarketcap. We don't know whos the real satoshi is but we can sure that just bitcoin which was created by him. Don't expect to much to the new project or new coin although has a project that want to make bitcoin being perfect, it's just an illusion.

Oh well, it's just about time though, Craig Wright has been attacking bitcoin since he created his forked coin, and now he got the full forced of bitcoin purist like CZ and others.

Shapeshift, and Kraken seems to follow BInances move regarding the delisting of the coin... you better sell all your BSV (before your wallet gets burnt 🔥 and diversify it on other assets.. i would rather go for new coins that are experimenting a huge amount of hype like @Beatzcoin or @Terragreen

If that happens it will be very profitable bch, because I see bitcoin sv is has not competing with bch,
and if all markets deleist it, the bitcoin sv user will likely choose bch.

Why not then Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Interest (this even sound as scam) ? All this is can be found on coinmarketcap. After that next step probably will be closing such exchanges as BitcoinToYou, BitcoinTrade, Mercado Bitcoin.

What we can expect from a centralized exchange like binance. It's best time to enroll in fully decentralised exchanges with code audit from decentralised auditors.

And it seems that binance was just the first to delist bsv. I've read a few articles indicating that other exchanges are soon to follow. Bsv has seen a steep decline recently and i think you can blame it all on craig wright claiming to be satoshi nakamoto lol.

I got the official notification via email yesterday from the binance. This is not worthy coin itseems as per the trading experts point of view. I hope all the traders started selling BSV for very cheap price in the Binance marketplace.

Binance day traders may give better answers about this delisting news from them.

Well, that is their personal issue which I think they will equally settle before then, it’s not a crime they have committed, it is simply a clash of belief and once they can understand themselves, the score will be settle and the coin will remain on the exchange, but if the operation was carried out successfully, it will really affect the coin a lot.

Many of the investors may start to dump their coin ahead of the delisted date which I think someone said it has been slated for 22nd of this month, delisting it will make them lost almost 1 third of their investors since Binance still holds major investor’s database.

Most of the BSV big bag holders probably sold it already and jumped off somewhere like bitcoin, ethereum and bitcoin cash. But it would be their best decision if they will land the money they have to bitcoin, as in bitcoin only.

Now, something interesting will happen. Bitcoin SV sucks and I expected it to die. But on the other hand, if the exchanges kill, it will show that they have more power than they should. So I hope it dies differently. But survive this delist from these exchanges. And then die because the code will eventually sucks as the fake Satoshi do not know how to code.

I was not surprised to hear this because indeed I had heard this news from the beginning, there were even a number of telegram signal groups who suggested to immediately sell BCHSV if they still have it in the wallet.

BCH already increased, I think other investment would go to bitcoin which what I like to see.
The delisting might make this coin worthless as investors will definitely leave, there's plenty of high potential coin in this market, they would not risk on a coin which founder has now a bad reputation in the crypto space.

That is not the point here, you are making it look as if they have done something wrong, so you want them to keep their eyes open and watch investors get scammed again by someone who is without integrity and full of lies claiming to be satoshi so that he can pump the coin and then dump the ones he is holding on the market..

The fact that the system was created for an anonymous transaction doesn’t really mean that we shouldn’t have a level of control over it, these decentralized exchanges that you all are all clinging to is the reason why scammers are having their ways in duping some investors and yet we start blaming ICO this and that.

ICO is not the problem, we users that see something wrong and fail to attack it are the major problems in this system and we need to change for greater good.

What seems strange to me is that since the Level 1 Exchanges allowed us to list this coin at once with no study price or anything, only knowing that it came from BCH was enough, at this time of the market so difficult in the accumulation stage the fall of it will be imminent, my blessing is for those who have this currency the best they can do is sell it as soon as they can.

after being delisted from binance the price of bsv coins dropped dramatically.  many investors panic because of losses and even pull start to switch to other coins.  if the BSV team doesn't work hard to develop this coin then the coins will be left by their followers and the price will go down difficult to rise again.

Binance delisting BSV, OKEX keep BSV listed and Kraken made vote about delisting BSV and users vote for delisting, and my idol vitalik butterin is totally again BSV, he said BSV is a pure dumpster fire. I think this coin is no longer have a bright future..

I agree with you . If not active in development, the value of BSV may be lower than the current price. Almost all investors who are in a panic selling situation make difficult BSV to recover but if the development team has information related to technology or other partners certain that BSV will increase again . In my opinion this may be a good time to buy at a low price but careful consideration is needed because everything is very unexpected.

This is very great news for me. BSV is one of the coins that make the condition of the market serious. Binance will not let shitcoin to enter their exchanges and I guess they realized how much trouble BSV to them. Even passing such requirements they didn't do so they delisted it.

Yes, and this is a good opportunity for BCHABC and Bitcoin Cash to increase their prices for free. Investors will now trust the remaining 2 altcoins and they will increase their purchasing power there.
I have no faith in BSV and even it is BCHABC. because a branch has been questioned and it is certain that the remaining branch will also have abnormalities.
I only buy and trust in Bitcoin Cash. BCHABC will also have similar risks in the future.

I think binance has made the right decision. I'm sure that Craig is really having regrets for what he did right now. It was a big scandal. I've heard that Kraken would also delist it. I felt sad for Bsv investors and holders. I don't think it could recover again because investors have lost their trust for it.

Binance deletes BSV, this case the holder will immediately leave or dispose of it immediately. Binance does have a good policy and certainly the right reason for this. BSV holders will look for loopholes to leave BSV and look for other solid altcoins.

Cz has the greatest power for me and he is doing anything what he want. This power is good if they do right things but otherwise it may have bad consequences.

Now the market seems to be improving, investors are not afraid to put their money in crypto, hopefully this does not have a big impact on the market, because the beginning of market drop is the number of coins or tokens that are delisted in various markets.

The decision is right because other exchanges are doing the same, they will also delist this coin and that makes investors to put their money back to bitcoin or BCH, but we will get a share of that money in BTC as they know Cz is pro bitcoin.
Maybe one reason why BNB is rising is it's also getting the money transfer from BSV, not really sure but that's my opinion.
