Title: Transaction not received Post by: sextian on April 16, 2019, 08:13:45 AM I made a transaction yesterday and it is not appearing in my electrum wallet.
The id is: 5b3cf0f09572154349136ad6db10f84d97373ad31620c5081c882e9fc34aca2d The receiving address is: 1GK9Sp47tNuntYVHDPg5X3a8iZmLBK3fmU It was for a small amount, just to see if it would get through, which it hasn't. It has been deducted from the sending wallet. I've tried restarting the electrum wallet and it makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks. What version of Electrum are you using? Do you see a green circle in the bottom right corner of Electrum? Title: Re: Transaction not received Post by: bob123 on April 16, 2019, 08:28:47 AM Please start off with basic information:

I'm using Linux Mint. I didn't verify the signature of the file however I've received other transactions successfully. The wallet does contain the private key of the address. Answer the remaining questions above... Version of Electrum? Status of the circle at the bottom right? Version 3.0.2 The green circle appears sometimes. Other times it synchronizes indefinitely. Title: Re: Transaction not received Post by: TryNinja on April 16, 2019, 08:43:12 AM Version 3.0.2 Update Electrum to the latest version on ELECTRUM.ORG (only legit website!).The green circle appears sometimes. Other times it synchronizes indefinitely. Versions older than 3.3 don’t synchronize anymore and have several issues (including a phishing attack that shows fake update messages and lead to fake websites). Optionally (but highly recommended) verify the file signature. Remember to ALWAYS only use ELECTRUM.ORG regardless of the message you see. Title: Re: Transaction not received Post by: Pmalek on April 16, 2019, 08:46:15 AM Version 3.0.2 There is the problem. Versions older than 3.3 are no longer able to connect to Electrum servers. You need to update your client to the newest version. Make sure you do it from the official Electrum site and it is highly recommended that you verify the signatures of the downloaded file. The green circle appears sometimes. Other times it synchronizes indefinitely. Also note, version 3.3.4 is the newest one. There is no 4.0 or anything newer than 3.3.4! EDIT: seems TryNinja was faster and wrote his post while I was writing mine. Damn ninjas ;D Title: Re: Transaction not received Post by: sextian on April 16, 2019, 08:59:48 AM Version 3.0.2 Update Electrum to the latest version on ELECTRUM.ORG (only legit website!).The green circle appears sometimes. Thanks everyone for all your help..... Title: Re: Transaction not received Post by: bob123 on April 16, 2019, 11:29:18 AM Download the latest version (3.3.4) from https://electrum.org/ (https://electrum.org/).
Then please verify your download:

Thanks everyone for all your help..... Make sure to backup your wallet first(if you don't have a backup seed phrase or private key) before you upgrade your wallet to the latest version Electrum_3.3.4 so that if you experience some technical issue or error from upgrading your old version electrum to a new version you can fully uninstall the Electrum wallet and reinstall the latest version and import the backup seed phrase/private keys. Two transactions to the same address? Absolutely. There is no limit of transactions/coins an address can receive. I could spend a whole year sending 1 BTC per day to your address.
