Can we have the full list of all Guides/Tutorials and Other Necessary Infos made by LoyceV be pinned @ B&H?

There are numerous Guides that has been made, though some of them are not official and most of them are just full of redundancy, still with this list it can help those lazy newbies who doesn't know how to use the Search Panel.

Though, I trust LoyceV's works and I know he can maintain and keep it updated (In fact he's the AI of this Forum) :P

(Actually I have made one too (List) all of the Guides that is in our Language, and currently we ask it to be pinned-its incomplete but will update it as soon as I can)

That's a good idea, because when you use the search engine there will be a ton of results and more likely newbies are lazy to look on them one by one. but with full list of all Guides/Tutorials the rest would be easy for them and with this Pinned Message, there will be less newbie creating a topic that already has an answer so less spam and somehow our forum will get a few trash topic.

I can guarantee you that lazy members never read pinned threads.

It is a bad practice but it is a fact: most users ignore pinned messages, FAQs and TOS, then they start complaining about not being aware of the rules (better keep bumping these threads on a daily/weekly basis).

Can't even say a thing. What solution can be made for the sake of them. But I think it's still not a Bad Idea.

There is no cure for ignorance my friend.
Besides, most of loyce's unpinned threads are out of date - a fact that you've admitted to. Pinning them won't do any good.

But after some days the topic hides because people can not see the topic on the front page. So I am also agreed with the OP that such type of informative and useful topic should be pinned so that people [ mainly newbie ] can find the topic easily.

Not because a lot of newbies ignore the pinned messages it doesn't mean we should stop adding important content to the list or at least make it better. Even though the number of newbies that read the pinned posts are probably a minority, we shouldn't ignore them. Adding or updating the pinned topics doesn't cost anything in the first place; just a little bit of head space. A few lines in exchange of potentially less rule-breakers? Definitely worth it in my opinion.

I often bump the thread, and it has much more views than for instance this pinned thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2766177.0), so I don't think pinning is necessary.

You guys don't get it, not all newbies are lazy beside the search button doesn't give that much of an accurate result especially when you don't know the specific words to use. A user complained about him not been able to find a post he once saw even though he use the search button both on and off forum.

The idea is a great one and I support it, not just because it'll be helpful both for newbie and older members but because it'll always be kept up-to-date unlike others that are outdated like the "how to bitcoin thread".

Better than having too many guides pinned and making fewer topics appear on the first page, why not have a Guides/Tutorial subsection? Also, it can be a FAQ for all newbies who want to know how to start trading and learning about bitcoins as many times the same question is asked in B&H and we get the same replies.

We can't give pressure to anyone who actually have no interest on important pinned threads. I think current system is better enough where its everyone's own responsibility to build their own knowledge vault by reading those pinned threads. If they don't bother to read these thread properly then honestly you can't make big difference by changing anything. Its like physicians prescription where its make no sense if patient doesn't follow it properly.
