In coin marketcap i am not getting link for Etherdelta is https://forkdelta.app/ abut etherdelta.com also working which is genuine . Is etherdelta.com still safe to use. Please give me suggestion some of my tokens only tradable in etherdelta.

I don't use etherdelta but there's still volume in it. What's your token to trade there?

i think its better to use forkdelta than etherdelta.. there is a issue last time about etherdelta exchange regarding SEC

Etherdelta is very safe to use, have been using Etherdelta for the past 2 years and the exchange is very legit and 100% scam free. You can proceed and trade your coin in the exchange, you are very safe.

Really? I don't think decentralized exchange is safe at all. Maybe in some sense but providing your own private key in order to use their platform will just risking almost all of the funds you have.

I might consider to use centralized exchange as I am going to risk just a particular cryptocurrency.

I think etherdelta is ok but last time i used it i faced lagging, slowness and not good experience which they could have improved by now but i do not know on the other hand forkdelta has similar interface and features but it is much smoother and quicker in transactions so now i only use forkdelta for new erc tokens.

At first, I was thinking that Etherdelta nd forkdelta is the same. Knowing that these two are decentralized exchanges, I could say, fork delta is much better to use than etherdelta in times of security. Let's look at their market volume, there are more people that is still using forkforkdelta. But I can say, they are both genuine, let us just choose which is much popular.

Indeed mate and since lots of issues had been thrown towards etherdelta in the past thats why i dont know where did OP says about 100% scam free and legit.maybe he was just trading with small amount or hes from the team thats whu he was imposing good words towards this exchange

ForkDelta was related to EtherDelta since it has using with same smartcontract and ForkDelta was only Fork from EtherDelta so there was no question for genuity But base on my experience, Forkdelta and EtherDelta was still functioning and im also buying and selling some ERC20 tokens on both and it has no problem so far.

Forkdelta is another exchange, which is as good as Etherdelta. You can use any of these two (depending on the token which you want to trade). From my personal experience, I would say that Forkdelta is more user friendly.

You can alternatively use forkdelta as it's appear since etherdelta got hacked. But yeah, if we compare it back to late 2017, it's hard to sell any coins there

Etherdelta is still in online servises but the bad news the volume are too small its getting hard to sell your altcoin if I were you I will go to folkdelta instead of etherdelta, like what other said this site faced some issue that never getting fix by the developer.

When i was beginner i was used it to sell and to buy some token that not listed in popular exchange,but in the past month i didnt use it because for me its so risky now to import your private in any exchanger and also buy the use of myetherwallet account.

Etherdelta is now less popular than forkdelta so i will suggest use forkdelta as it is same like etherdelta, AS every one knows last years there was some misadventure with etherdelta so don't use it.

Didn't the Federal government S.E.C shut Etherdelta down a few months ago? I'm didn't know that it was still around. I think Forkdelta sounds an awful lot like Etherdelta. Wait a second, I think it's a fork of the former.

Forkdelta is the fork version from etherdelta. Both are genuine but I do recommend you to use the etherdelta because this one is the original one.

Both are genuine because both are diffrent decentralized exchanges. They have only same UI but totally diffrent servers.

Etherdelta for me is a wobble exchange. Had a first experience using it sometimes last year. One, too much of bugging issues which i think Is responsible for it's slowness. Second,  the exchange has often been reported to have suffered from hackers attacks and the likes. It's best there to stay away from it

basically http://etherdelta.com was the original one in the past, but as a result of something I don't remember what they made dex again, that's forkdelta.app the word fork it might be a result of the Dex change, but for now the volume forkdelta.app is better from etherdelta and etherdelta now also often experience errors on the orderbook so it's better to use forkdelta

etherdelta is the most populer free market of ERC, but lately visual from this exchange stuck, I dont know what goin on but we can still open folkdelta, this exchange is one server and same as etherdelta.

Indeed dude as i have used both of that exchange and luckily experienced no issues at all maybe beause i only exchanged small amount so i might not become a target of scams or something bad

Due to the subpoena that already sent by SEC and it looks like etherdelta gets frozen and all of operations already moved to the alternative ethereum dex like forkdelta. Both are having the same hot wallet and I guess that was the same like etherdelta

I think the security issue is valid on both sides. But forkdelta's daily volume is higher. Therefore, I usually use FD.

I stopped using both when they got hacked from which I just managed to escape but for useless tokens that get listed nowhere, I use forkdelta and if you have metamask, it prevents you from using the phishing link. Don't store your tokens there still as they were already hacked before.

Etherdelta and Forkdelta the same and in my opinion both are safe to use, always bookmark the link and keep your private key safe. And one more don't export your main wallet, create new for trade.

If I remember right, etherdelta was the original dex but then it was sold, and ran into some problems. Then forkdelta came out to replace etherdelta. I stopped using it since then because I fear that I'll lose my money.

I can't remember anytime I've traded on etherdelta because its a shit exchange to me, no serious project have ever list their coin there officially and all the tokens I have that are not listed but are tradeable on Dex like etherdelta and forkdelta are just there lying in my wallet. Honestly, after losing my balances there, I never used etheredelta again. I have learned my lesson but I'm not saying that the same thing would happen to everyone but I'm just basing things on my own experience. They say it's safe but I doubt it because it's also hackable. If I were you, I would choose another exchange which is on top of the list.

It's safe trading in a decentralized exchange. It's advisable you use Imtoken( available in chromes extension, needs small file download) to interact with the decentralized. Alternatively, you can still use Keystore, which way you need to de-encrypt the wallet with your password. I don't like using my Private key in trading.

You can still "just risk a particular" cryptocurrency in a decentralized exchange.  All you need to do is transfer your token to a newly created address that will be used in trading in DEX.  It is a bit more complicated but you can even designate different address (account) for every token you wanted to trade in DEX, much better than a centralized exchange where you use only one account for all your cryptocurrency you wanted to trade on that exchange.

I don't think Etherdelta is still operating but forkdelta is doing and I have used it so many times to sell some tokens. Forkdelta also have the same interface with forkdelta and it is very easy to use. If you have never used it before, you will see guidelines on the site on how to do so.

Etheredelta is still stable but the problem with decentralized exchange is that the amount you sell you token or coin is determine by the buyers since is a p2p network and even if your token is not listed on exchange you can sale it on the exchange since it a decentralized exchange.

Forkdelta is a form from etherdelta.. and they're both legit exchanges... what you're seeing is just an error from coinmarket cap .. you can simply report this bug to their support team an they'll have it fixed

Etherdelta is a genuine exchange, I've personally used the exchange severally without having any issues. Some persons are scared of giving away their private keys to gain access to the exchange, it's understandable. But my advice is that you have one wallet set aside for decentralized exchange transactions and only transfer tokens that you have intension of trading in the wallet. It saves you the risk of exposing all your tokens to the decentralised exchange. I've personally employed this technique and I ensure that I don't keep substantial amounts on the wallet. Only the eth that I need for gas is left in the wallet.

Etherdelta is toxic. They made people loss money, they did a scam ico and get millions of dollars. They are crazcy shady. Forkdelta also has more orders on order sheet.

From what I recall the developer of Etherdelta settled with the SEC, which involved paying a fine and agreeeing to not continue the same alleged infraction. Of course, being a decentralized exchange, I don't think Etherdelta can be shut down by any government.

Agree, if you are uncomfortable with the exchange site better not to bother and wait for some other venue to exchange your coins, opinions from people who uses the exchange can give some good basis but at the end of the day it's still you who needs to make the stand whether to trade and use it or not anymore.

Etherdelta caused lots of people to lose huge amount of loss and they didn't compensate people not say even sorry. After that, they made an ico and i still don't know what their tokens work for but raised lots of money. I don't care what you use but please don't use etherdelta.

The fact is that etherdelta has certain problems with legality part and forkdelta is the same exchange but with more convenient functionality and also which works without VPN. And in general, there is no difference between these two sites.

both are safe to use if you know how to do it. i prefer to use forkdelta. to safely use it is not to use your private key when login in, try  to instead create a wallet and send your tokens in forkdelta wallet which you also holds the privatekey. most of the ERC tokens are listed in to both dexs. the only question would be the price.

I think etherdelta and forkdelta are 2 different platforms
They both have good volumes and also there are tendencies of listing tokens there unofficially

I think that if the links are posted on the bitcointalk forum, then it should not raise any questions about their authenticity.  In addition, any exchange, including etherDelta, you can get a link to the Coinmarketcap website.

But aren't both Forkdelta and Etherdelta using the same smart contract? IIRC they aren't really that different. I'd prefer Forkdelta though. Especially after that hack in 2017 where someone took over EtherDelta's DNS server.

Etherdelta is a good decentralised exchange,  actually it was my first exchange. It became too slow and a fork was required which lead to the forkdelta with all the functionalities of etherdelta and many more functions. Its faster, smoother and safer

Forkdelta works just fine. It's like a carbon copy of etherdelta for the most part. Just know how to use a DeX before you send funds!

I think both of them can be used either etherdelta or forkdelta,and etherdelta is the first exchange and forkdelta is newer both have the same features,but I personally prefer to trade on forkdelta because it's lighter and I think both of them are still safe to trade.

Since there was a change on Etherdelta I never traded there again and in my opinion Etherdelta and Forkdelta are the same, but it's better to use Forkdelta with no problems at all.

I think you just need to search "is Etherdelta exchange safe?" on Google then you will get tons of negative feedback about this DEX. I think it's the first DEX but it's not the best. Beside I also know that Etherdelta exchange hacked so many times and this situtation keep happening although dev team tried to fixed or improve security after everytime they got hacked.

Etherdelta & Fork Delta Both are absolutely genuine and are absolutely decentralized. But its just a waste trading platform on the name of decentralized exchange. Etherdelta has lost almost all its volume due to its rubbish trading interface. While forkdelta is almost like trading with robots. Let me explain why. Just try to add an limit order in the buy wall or sell wall the bot will automatically trigger and add a similar nature order just .00001 Ether above you to manipulate prices and increasing volume on the exchange. Most of the volume on decentralized exchange is bots. So only trade on such exchanges if you can't find your coin anywhere else or you are just happy with the market order.

Well, the problem with fake volume generated by bots isn't a problem that DEXs have exclusively. A lot of other centralized exchanges are also reporting a lot of fake volume.

Only by entering our ETH wallet address in there for the first time, after it the token that we have appears in the balance menu, we click the name of the token that we want to trade, there are a number of options that we want to trade on which exchanges, after that choose the exchanges according to the info of the token trading from the project of the tokens. if i want to using delta exchanges, I prefer to trade on https://forkdelta.app , it's just my choice  ;)

Not the price, but the volume due to the lack of people using these exchange. Buy orders are less than sell orders, so the price difference is so far there.  I brave to assume people will more interested in using IDEX rather than fork / etherdelta.

using Etherdelta is not recomended for safe our wallet and asset, for better experience i'm recomended using forkdelta, also you try to paste smartcontract address the token ex (contractaddress-ETH) for open your token market, or if just can traded in Etherdelta try to using Temp Wallet

in my opinion etherdelta is still safe, because I still use etherdelta for trading and in my opinion there is no problem as long as I use etherdelta, besides that I think etherdelta is one of the best exchanges for trading, because etherdelta is very easy to use for trading and has a low fee.

of course everyone chooses safe and easy to use but everyone sometimes has different tastes so they have different answers.

I use etherdelta in past but 2 years ago, i think better use forkdelta for now, but i think both can work, but better use forkdelta if token is there listed, but if is listed on a other exchanges where don't need ETH to pay gas when put sell order then can use centralized exchange.

There was no popular decentralized exchange in the past other than ED, but it was compromised, a lot of traders loss their money so they slowly
shifting to centralized exchange. IDEX a decentralized was born then, I did use it and it's better than ED but we don't know how secure it is.

Well, I believe that coinmarketcap list exchange on their platform based on a certain trading volume, if they haven't gotten to that trading volume, then it can't be listed. I know you might be saying but forkdelta is just a fork of etherdelta and shouldn't have so much volume, but the truth is that they forked the github if etherdelta because they say a lot of bugs in their platform and tried to solve those bugs creating a better and bug free platform than which is already available, this is why I love the Crypto space because it is a free market.

Lately I heard forkdelta is moved into a new domain (previously it was withing github). I guess both etherdelta and forkdelta are good and trutable still risking in small volume is always good for the case of cryptos as we are dealing with non-traceable exchanges.

Etherdelta is still safe for trading but their database is not updated regularly. By the way, the scammers can phish your tokens with creating the fake contract address on etherdlelta. The contract symbols are almost the same but they are not the original owner of the address.

no, main point from OP problem is wich one the genuine nd trusted DEX than Etherdelta and Forkdelta, but the problem some token are just avaible for traded in Etherdelta, for me i'm never recomend for using Etherdelta

Both forkdelta or etherdelta both have good security as long as we store our phrases well and must be careful and observant when we enter the URL for the two exchanges because many phishing websites whose URL address is very similar to the two exchanges.

Forkdelta was created after the hack scare of eitherdelta in 2018. They are both legitimate but currently, Forkdelta has more volume. If you seek for other good Dex with volume, you can try idex.market

I know crypto before and I saw Etherdelta by then. This is the first exchanges I've see and the first that I used to trade with, definitely for it is a genuine.
Forkdelta is just created last year( correct me if I'm wrong) and it is just the same of what Etherdelta have, prices and trades are of the same.

I'm using the forkdelta.app site . Both use the same infrastructure, because coin prices are the same in both.

I once used etherdelta and it's true that there are only a limited altcoins that you can able to trade, just trade it to the most well known altcoin or to Ethereum then move it to a much bigger exchange so you can take out your funds from there.

Based only in my experience, I am using etherdelta.com and I can trade there my tokens without any trouble, just input the proper private key and address of your ERC20 compatible wallet, so that you can import an account and ready to trade tokens. Just make sure that you have insufficient amount of ether on your wallet to be paid for the transaction fees. This only based on my experience on using this exchange.

I am not using Etherdelta or Forkdelta ever since. I heard a lot of things about it and I don't like what I've heard about it.
Though I tried to opened it before to check what inside of this decentralized platform exchange. Then, I found out that most of the
coins in there was a shit coins for me, though there are some of the potential coins but only few of them. And Etherdelta has been issued
for hacking their platform many times. So its too risky to use it though all exchange platform has it.

Bounty hunters who received their reward coins will find ways to liquidate their shares and snatch the amount of money, so far this decentralized exchange are the only options if you don't want to wait for the listing in a much bigger exchange, fear of losing or being abandoned so even the value didn't meet the ico value they will still proceed and sell it out for the sake of money, you can choose between this 3 decentralized that's been mention above me and try your luck to find what suited to you.

I think it's the same, and forkdelta is a new etherdelta name. Based on my experience, I don't know itu is because of the platform or maybe the network but I got some problem of transaction when using etherdelta and not found any problem yet in forkdelta.

Both of them are safe to use, Forkdelta is fork of Etherdelta and they both use the same smart contract. I use Forkdelta mostly because it usually has more activity but you can use either one safely. If you going to use them I would recommend that you do it through Metamask. The only time I have known people to have problems was when they were not using Metamask.

etherdelta in my opinion is still safe to use, but unfortunately this decentralized exchange has been abandoned by users because of the very slow and unattractive reason for the UI. Now many etherdelta users are starting to switch to forkdelta, but if you ask in all security, both have very good security and can still be trusted

It was always safe to use , I did not hear that it was hacked or something else , the exchange is decentralized and the fact that you will lose money on it is equal to 0 , if you just do not stumble on phishing

The reason why people use etherdalta is, there can  trade tokens in this exchange which don't trade anywhere else. To avoid risk you should just create new wallet which will be used just for etherdalta. In this case you will risk only tokens in this particular wallet, not all your funds.

Most of us have long forgotten about etherdelta and moved on to other exchanges like Yobit and coinbase.  Etheredelta has always been sketchy from the start and most of the things they had listed ended up crashing majorly.

in a direct comparison i prefer forkdelta. in general IDEX is my number 1 contact point. in the future a lot of DEX will
come to us and that's a good thing. be careful will be more and more necessary but also that's not necessarily bad :)

In my opinion, both Etherdelta and Forkdelta are the same source. Ethderdelta was popular among the crypt traders way back to 2017. Forkdelat updates their token tickers and trading statistics regularly unlike Etherdelta.

If i can remember correctly a former developer from etherdelta decided to fork etherdelta because they are against the decision of the upper ups of etherdelta, i remember reading this from reddit a long time ago.

in my opinion Etherdelta is still safe to use in trade while it is still functioning in the transaction. forkdelta is a renewal from etherdelta to forkdelta. so far for me there were no problems in etherdelta.

I have been using EtherDelta and ForkDelta for a long time and I can safely say that they are safe to use. It is only desirable to connect not your main wallet to them, but to create a new one and transfer coins to it and take part in the trade.
I would call them the best decentralized exchanges, I really like them.

Some accounts were compromise before, that's why it losses a little popularity, the fact that this happened, it makes me think that this site is no more safe.
I still do transact with this site but with big amount, I don't trust it, I'd prefer an centralized and big exchange like Binance.

I think it is still safe, but it also depends on how we use it because it was hacked not only because of the exchanger factor but also because of the user factor. so that the level of security is prioritized by developers so that etherdelta can compete with other exchangers, because if not then they will be completely bankrupt because they are abandoned by users

yes it is also related to users, more and more users are as popular so etherdelta.
