It might be the first tipster thread for this sport. I have tried to search about AFL in this forum but most topic are about general prediction and discussion. There was someone who focus on giving free tips of AFL in 2016 but seems that he is not giving tips anymore. So if you can give tips regularly then it would be nice for AFL lovers although the interest of this League is not that much compared to other Footbal Leagues.

Glad to hear it. I have good stats on AFL this year, you can check it here - https://bossofbetting.com/category/afl (https://bossofbetting.com/category/afl) (it's no spam). I watch this sport since 2015 and it's very interesting for me.

Most people focus on the popular leagues like LA Liga, Premier League, Bundesliga or Champions /Europa League and they possibly miss some other matches that could be more profitable even tough they are not so popular and that's why we need more tipsters that could offer people informations about matches from the lower leagues. You are probably originally from Australia and you have access to news and information in the press about teams so you can predict the result better. I wish you good luck with your picks and hope you could help some people.

So, guys, my 1st bet

Adelaide Crows vs Gold Coast Suns (21.04.2019)

Pick:H2 +32.5
Odds:1.91
Bookie: Bet365
Bet:$100

My prediction to the match
Adelaide Crows can not show good footy at the start of 2019 season and won just 1 of first 4 games of the new season.

They lost to Hawthorn Hawks and Geelong Cats at the Round 1 and 3 and I can understand it, because this are a good teams, but how they lost to the North Melbourne Kangaroos I don’t know. Kangaroos are one of the worst teams now and it shows that Crows are in bad conditions too.

After loss in the Round 1 to the Saints, Gold Coast Suns won 3 matches in a row (they beat Fremantle, Bulldogs and Carlton Blues) and now are in top 8 and this is very good result for this team.

Adelaide Crows won 5 of the last 5 h2h matches between these teams, but there is a situation when underdog is in much better football conditions and can to win the game.

I don’t know why bookies give so big handicap for the Suns, but I will bet on it, because it is a value bet.

My pick for the game:

Gold Coast Suns with asian handicap +32.5 with odds 1.91 in Bet365

Even though I am currently based in Asia, AFL is also one of my favorite. I think it is really not considered a prediction if you are trying to give an idea about who will win or lose. For me, it is more of an analysis and being professional in the sport as well.

That is the reason why I love sports betting because it is not all about luck. If you know the sport well then betting in that sport is one of the best options instead of going to the casinos and losing everything.

It will be good for you if you can build up a reputation for being such a good tipster. I think that you should also put a link on your bet so that we could actually see it. If you can get 7 out of 10 tips that you will give then I might follow the teams that you will be picking for AFL.

You do realize that it is possible to improve ones chances in a casino through experience and research, don't you? I know poker experts who earned tons of money thanks to their quick thinking skills.

Luck is a factor in every form of betting to an extent which is why I disagree with your statement in this regard.

I suggest you to make a list of your "done" picks and add it on your main post. It would help your reader to know your stats easier.
If you can make it into a table then it will be better. Good to see that you are in profit after 3 bets. Keep it up, seems that you are type of flat bettor as your bet amount is always the same. I'm not sure how if you will get really bad losing streak. It will take longer time if you do flat bet all the time imho.

2W-3L. Not a good winning rate and also I would like to suggest on putting up some little bit of evaluation or comments on why you do pick such team and also it do really hurts on my part losing -$100 each bet.  :'(

I describe every bet on my blog. Also I put the link here, so you can read description and my review to every bet.

5 bets it is very short distance to speak about are my picks profitable or no. I think I must to make 300-400 bets to speak about it.

Now I placed 26 bets and you can find it here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DFWHH802Ibcw6TxhF9FEe-0rZj-5lgDPlyD88ix6Bhg/edit#gid=0  (https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1DFWHH802Ibcw6TxhF9FEe-0rZj-5lgDPlyD88ix6Bhg/edit#gid=0), on this forum just 6 bets.

We can't predict the results correctly but you're prediction may be correct. Let's just wait until the game will end and find out who win whether you lose or win (if lucky enough). Only time would tell anyway right?. I think you can predict if you'll compare each team's status and their record like their win/lose and winning percentage from their past match.
