Post by: FaucetKING on April 21, 2019, 03:36:44 PM
Hello peoples..
I am posting this thread to talk about privacy in general.
I am a fan of privacy coins just like PiVx and monero etc..
I just want the peoples to vote for their best coins
From this list, what's the projects that you are supporting?
-Deeponion
-Pivx
-Monero
-Veil
-beam
-Monero Classic
-ZCASH
-ZCoin
-ZenCash
-Particl
- GRIN
- ZCLASSIC
- Zero
- Quantis
- Elixxir

I didn't mention Privcy because they banned me, they are shady.. They are not honest.

I am personally supporting all of the coins listed above but I don't like neither Grin neither Monero Classic and my best pick is DO.
What about you folks?

The best privacy coin I'm most bullish  on since 2018 is veil project because they have a very good hardworking trams behind the project and teams matters the most in every projects ,veil is the first cryptocurrency to combine both RingCT, Bulletproofs, and Zerocoin protocol technology for anonymity.

Myself as well.  Another advantage PIVX has is that its proof of stake so you can earn interest by staking it.  I am actually bewildered that it and the other pos coins haven't caught on like I believe they should have.  Some of them might be great buys right now.  The zPIV function of PIVX is as private as I have ever seen a coin be.

Monero is supposed to be THE privacy coin, so if you really are seeking to hide your identity I would say to try that one.  No staking though.

the best one is definitely monero, it was one of the first and is very active
As always, liquidity is important and you have a good point here.  The market for PIVX might not be thinly traded but I don't believe it is as liquid as Monero.

Monero and Zcash are most secured coins because of the secured algorithm and privacy things in it.

Security reasons and faster transactions you may choose EOS as well. This coin is specially for urban who does not care about the fees and want the best payment and faster transaction to receiver end.

Monero and Zcash are the two strongest privacy coins at the moment, they both have very nice liquidity and big communities.  I got my eye on a few new privacy coins that may do a 10x-100x in the future but they are very risky.

Indeed. From all the coins above, the best one is Monero [XMR]. The rank on coinmarketcap is 12th place. I am supporting and holding this coin. I believe that Monero has good privacy and security, so it is a safe coin to invest.

I am not a frequent user of the darkmarkets, so I don't know much about the anonymous coins. That said, I have heard a lot about Zcash and Monero. There was a time when these coins were regarded as the successors to Bitcoin. But they lost a lot of value in 2018, and nowadays hardly anyone talks about them. Another interesting coin was Deep Onion. I purchased some Onion from Cryptopia and later sold them at a small profit (in 2018).

Been believing with Monero to be the best privacy coin. I bought few months ago Pivx but when I saw it dropped, I started to think of a price that I'd sell it.
IIRC, I bought it around $1 - $1.5 and sold it back just for the break even. Can you give a reason why you don't like GRIN? it's the first altcoin to be accepted by the forum management when you will avail Copper membership.

I've been keeping an eye on the elixxir project...
Oh the project of David Chaum?

I vote for veil, it looks an undervalued coin consider about its features and usefulness to the users. It has created founder of PIVX and im sure veil will become the best privacy coin in the future. Im putting veil as my best privacy coin.

I like Beam, Veil, PivX and Deep onion. With these coins, I am well covered in the privacy sphere because they make a team of total control and transaction privacy in cryptocurrency. I am still in my accumulation stage of Veil and Beam. They are new and grossly underrated at the moment

the first not always be the best,,
we can't equate the first privacy coin wich mean monero with bitcoin my friend, both are different
i know Monero is great privacy coin, but maybe elixxir or grin will replace monero in the future, just my personal opinion,
but who knows, because no body knows what will happend in the future ?

Yes, I agree with you my friend. I personally know that monero has a great community and made it to them top but I didn't like the team (which is anonymous) because of some weird stuffs they did.
I am sure that monero will not stay the number 1 privacy coins.. Just like what happened with ZCASH.. Unless they wake up.

This question asked many many times before. I saw at least 10-15 different thread already. And most of them replied same way. I think you may make a simple search in forum. I am sure that you can find your answer.

My favorite security-base coin is Monero. It is oldest one but I think it is still best. I pass other choice but want to say something about GRIN. Grin has gained a big popularity in market. But I am not sure that are OK!. It seems strange to me. And it is so manipulative. I am looking into but it feels risky to me.

I think monero (XMR) is the best anonymous coin, due to the combination of cryptographic guarantees and ease of use, as well as widespread use on the darknet. Monero uses sophisticated cryptographic methods such as RingCT, Kovri and Stealth addresses to protect user privacy.

Yes! Finally I got some one sharing the same thoughts.
I don't hate monero but that doesn't mean that I love it. I can see them somehow resisting and having a good support by the community and they will surely soar in the upcoming bull run, but, personally I am not putting alot in them. Instead, I am following other new coins because the profits range must be bigger for the low priced coins.
About grin, it's an unnormal volumes there.. I think that it's manipulated too.. Its hard for a coin in this period and this bear market to do what grin did. Shh!

I am holding Zcash as well  but my latest favorite is Veil as I like the idea of  delegated staking, which will allow staked Veil to be held offline in your hardware wallet.

privacy coins that I like only zcash and monero. both of these coins have large trading volumes, to be honest I'm not a user of this coin. but I only buy and hold. so I don't really know whether this coin is really good or not. for sure I can get profit from this coin.

Monero [XMR], Grin [GRIN] and Swap [XWP]. All of them decent projects without premines, developer fess, founders rewards or any other bullshit made to enrich the creators, decent specifications, strong privacy features and nice communities.

Elixxir is attracting a lot of media attention lately. It's founder (David Chaum) is quite well known in the crypto circles and have claimed that this new blockchain will be able to replace Bitcoin. But it needs to be remembered that the project is still in its infancy and it may take years, before we get a chance to test a stable version.

From an investor view, I would invest almost most of these coins since most of these coin will have a good bump soon. On the other hand, if privacy is the only thing to measure, I would go with Monero and DeepOnion.

I also choose Monero and Zcash, i have some friends who use Zcash, they say is good for what they need and also they say confirmation come fast, but all coins have their role and can be used.

So, you have depended on your friends? Mate, try first then decide. Zcash is nothing to take serious when it comes for privacy option.Monero is okay although there was some issue released about monero's privacy.

People may have reasons to support one privacy coin over other but the only coin that can truly act as a privacy coin (or may not if you use it incorrectly) is monero. We can't just trust some closed sourced code or centrally distributed coins to respect our privacy. Monero on the other hand may have gone through good and bad times, it's still the leader of privacy coin both in use and marketcap.

It's true that monero is leader in both by use and marketcap but you know monero isn't an untraceable coin. It's also traceable which has been proved earlier.

Of course my favorite is Monero. I also like KRB. But we need to give the green light to young coins, so here's my favorites - Veil, Grin and Beam.
