I am making this thread to publish all the coins that are released for this set, and, in case any coin comes available outside of the original bidders.

Note: That the upcoming coins published in this thread will not be for sale, as they are assigned to the Auction winners.

General specs of the coins are:

- 21 Coins minted per design
- 1 Troy Oz .999 Silver
- 2019 CI hologram
- 0.02 Denomination

1. 2009 The Times (1/10)
The first iteration, for the year 2009 commemorates the first ever block. Mined on January the 3rd with The Times famous headline.

Celebrating the famous sale of the 10K BTC Pizzas

3. 2011 Silk Road / Ross Ulbricht (3/10)

4. 2012 First Block Reward Halving (4/10)

6. 2014 Who Is Satoshi? (6/10)
In 2014 there were news that Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin, was located; which proved to be false. Satoshi's identity is still unknown.

7. 2015 Bitcoin Digital Gold (7/10)
In 2015 BTC was declared a commoddity, like gold or oil. Proving its attributes to be far superior to the precious metal, Bitcoin is seen as the best store of value.

8. 2016 Mining (8/10)
In 2016 the network reached One Exa Hash (1x10^18) for the first time.

9. 2017 ATH! (9/10)
In 2017 Bitcoin reached its all time high, which was almost 20,000 Dollars!

Dedicated to the Bitcoin resilience, a technology that has allowed people to break free from the chains of the current financial system.

P.S. Holograms for the 2019 coins have the serial number engraved in a different way to previous holograms, which may make it difficult to see in some cases.

Coin #4 has already been shipped :)

Coin #5 has been minted, I did not want to ship it yet as August is a bad month here in Spain. Everyone on holiday and postal services only offer minimum service.

#6 Design being finished is on track for Sept delivery

Any updates on when we should see delivery of the next coins?  :P

 We can't see the serial numbers on the new hologram? What coins have the new holograms? So the set of coins will not all be uniform?  :-[

With new hologram I refer to the one used in 2019 coins, I mean that with this hologram (All 10 set coins have the same one) it is a bit trickier to see the serial number.

I'm gutted I missed out on the "2009 The Times" 10th anniversary coin. Looks a neat little collectible, and I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for anyone offloading theirs in the next few years.

Yeah, I understand that. However, that one in the set is a particularly nice coin. I'm not too fussed on the others honestly so I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the market to see if anyone wants to sell it separately.

For the amount that was paid just to have rights to this set of coins..... I don't see them being broken up unfortunately.

I got the #9 coin, still waiting for the #10 coin (and the #8). Also got the Times News Paper, Thanks CI  :D! The coins look great ;)  Excited to see what kind of a coin holder you're going to come up with for all of these. :)

I agree with my friend Anonymousminer I can't imagine any set being broken up especially since there were so few sets and the costs to own a set.

Only 21 people have the sets, no one comes to mind that will let go of theirs....at least in the short term. Good Luck with your Quest.

My #21 set will be available for sale at some point this year.

Needs a case first and to take part in an exhibition I have planned.

CI, any update on coin 8/10?

Out of 21 out there I am sure few will be auctioned here. That is all I need.  :) I set up extra 2 eyes total of 4 eyes for this bad boy.

I'm guessing there will be a small refund for those of us that have already paid for #8 now that BTC has risen and the coin has yet to be made let alone delivered?

Hey CI, any idea yet on when we will see the last of these coins (#8) done? Hopefully the new mint that you're using has them done, or will have them done in the near future. The 10 year anniversary coin set completion should be a priority, at this point. Also, are there any options for holders?  ???

Coins have already been reminted, 10 coin set is a priority, but with the current country situation I am unable to ship nor complete further projects as most business are still closed...


 

Any updates here? I know that shipping is picking back up in some locations, but the window may be limited if another wave of the pandemic starts going around.

Just got the 8/10 this week, that Spain went out of quarantine, preparing them for shipping now.

I know I am late to this - but I have to ask - is there a way to get one of each coin?

Your best bet is to make a WTB thread, even then it might be a hard find. They seem cheap at that auction price now :D

Has anyone in the US received the 8/10 coin yet? It's been almost a month since it was shipped and this USPS situation is looking bleak.

I bought a second set, and yes coin #8 arrived last week Monday or so.
Your own is taking awfully long but the usps postal system is in a hot mess right now.

Coins are taking a bit more to arrive to the USA than usual, will ask my postal office to check if they can see the status, as the package has already entered the USA.

In case the coin is lost, worry do not, as I will replace it. The lost coin will be labeled as "Lost in transit" on my records to avoid resale, and hence it is not funded until arrival no BTC will be lost.

Much appreciated. I never thought I'd see the day where the postal service is failing, but here we are. Let me know if I need to file any forms on my end.

snarfbag- you're not alone.  I haven't received my 8/10 coin either, and it's been a month since it was shipped.

Mine just showed up today. All I have to say is wow shipping is bad these days, but glad it made it.

Glad you got yours, and believe it or not- I just got mine today as well!  What a relief!
