Is this a threat or what? You know to block your account or lock this topic won't cause any stress. Moderators can do it with just a push of the button. You disobey a rule so you have to suffer the consequences. Creating new account or thread won't help in anyway, go take a chill pill.

Was it actually you that posted the links? If so, do these links actually contain malware? Or are the VirusTotal reports inaccurate?

I think your account problem is currently locked, on the basis of avoiding bans, and you cannot prove validly to the Admin, that your account is hacked.
And one more mistake by registering another account alt, the appeal process was banned.

Even if so and you are not the person which was spreading the malware on the forum, however you were obliged to delete his topics after your account was unlocked.

I don't know what decision administration will take, but responsibility for access to the account lies with forum users themselves, and you for three months didn't bother to put in order your message history.

You can't prove anything. Only theymos can check the login IP addresses and compare if there was misuse.
The rest is just speculations and my word vs your word..

Things get more complicated on times like this to OP. As I have understood his stand to which OP will never back down until such the account will be unlock.

In my point of view, OP will not be able to retreive the account for it has been decided already by a forum moderator to lock it down. Once, it was decided it will be hardly to get it back expect for those users that were ban by mistake. And this, OP clearly made some violation either intentionally or not violating or spreading the malware.

Still, a consequences shall be done due to soreading malware.

I think you are late to prove everything, if you are innocent.
Why don't you prove it first when this problem occurred.

You need a solid proof that your account was hacked and it wasn't you who post all those links to the virus infected archives.
You can't simply say it wasn't me, and expect us to believe you. The forum is full of fraudsters as the crypto-world in general. Theymos is your only hope as he have access to the login data, he can compare the IP addresses and confirm or dismiss your story.
Keep in mind that people here in the forum are often accused being guilty until proven wrong,I don't really like it but there is no other way to keep the community save, as here almost nothing can be proven without deep investigation and without theymos intervention.

Even though you claim that it wasn't you that made these posts, after the account was recovered, you should have made sure to delete the posts you knew you didn't make.

At the moment, you are guilty until the mods determine if there was any pattern and if it actually changed at the time of making those posts.

But moderator found old undeleted posts with viruses links and made a ban request again. I think it was a moderator mistake.

We have dealt with this situation. I've made a request to unban accounts spider703 and Mr.Spider703. And I have nothing to apologize for. I'm doing my job. It is you who should monitor the status of your account, not the forum staff.

Hopefully theymos will unban the OPs account. His old posts with malware should be removed though.

How can a hack be proved? A signed message could prove the account is now held by the original owner, but there's no way to prove it wasn't under his control at some time. It's trivial to change one's IP address to simulate someone else accessed the account.
I hope this alleged hack is recorded. If this happens again I think the ban should be permanent.

From what I can tell, the OP was hacked in 2018 (or possibly 2017), the hackers posted malware links, not all the malware links were deleted, the OP was banned in 2018, was unbanned later that year, and was banned again just now because a moderator saw the malware links from when he was previously hacked.

Someone who cares so little about their account that after recovering it after a hack they just leave hacker's posts... perhaps should be permanently banned from posting links or something like that.

The best-case scenario is he wasn't responsible to neither secure his account or delete the hacker's posts. Wort-case scenario is the account was never hacked.

Presumably whoever unbanned the OPs account was able to reasonably conclude his account was hacked.

I would presume that most hackers don’t hack (or try to hack) just one account, so if the IP address and browser fingerprint is consistent with that of other known hacked accounts that are clearly different from the OPs information, you could reasonably say he was hacked.

The IP/browser fingerprint would need to be both different from the OP and the same as a hacker.

Definitely, Guy who is banned for posting malware should be thoroughly checked and all the malware posts need to be removed.


I hope that, now spiderXX posting history is now free from malware links.


I guess malware in post of spider can impact other users also therefore  spider should  asked to confirm that now he know his post history and it is free from virus or mods need to look into it.
