Title: My posts are deleted
Post by: DonAlexio on April 26, 2019, 04:35:54 PM
Hello,
I posted two Times a topic on this website and my topics were deleted.
I don’t know why  ???

Probably because they were flagged for being off-topic.  It happens, nothing to be concerned about.

Which board? What were the topics about? Are you sure they've been deleted and not e.g. moved?

You'll need to provide more info on the content you posted. The threads show up as removed in the modlog:

Probably because they were duplicates and/or on the wrong boards. OP has this thread in Mining Support which is the correct place I think

Antminer S9 can't start (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5136396)

Hello,

Yes, on this topic I just explained my problem with my antminer And they were in « mining support ».
It’s Not duplicated because I created the second one when the first was deleted

Odds are its because there are a bunch of S9 threads. OP should probably just post within one of the others. I can't really look or find one for you right now but i'm sure you can find one to post in, that way you'll also signal to people who've posted in that thread so your likely to find some assistance.

If I'm reading this rule right:

Mining support - This is for all questions regarding understanding the process of BITCOIN mining, and any issues with setting up hardware, configuration issues, stability issues, etc. Where hardware has a dedicated support thread by the manufacturer or maintainer of the hardware, there will be a post in the hardware subforum so please use that first. CPU, GPU and FPGA mining support will be moved to the altcoin mining section.

S9 questions should be asked here:

Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1493601.0)

That sounds backwards to me - why pollute hardware discussion thread with troubleshooting when there is a dedicated support board - but I guess there is a reason I'm not making the rules ;)

You're right they are posting on the right board - there are I believe 5 topics about s9's. I do see they have another one created, which needs the "code" function for the kernel log  applied.

They could search through the topic you posted pretry sure there is a bunch of random troubleshooting in there, but that would take a while. I did see they have a thread a few weeks old they could have probably just tacked onto.

Who know it could have just been a random mod responding to a report as we've seen in the past. We'll just have to see if anyone tells us why? And if the current thread survives.

Edit: that was weird didn't think i closed the "code" function

Deleted posts are usually notified and you can read it through your messages above and even send the reason through your email. Most of the times, the reason why the moderators delete posts is bacause its off-topic. Dont worry, the moderators knows what they are doing and they are doing it for a particular reason. Better read and check your piece before posting it to avoid experiencing it again.

Your post will be deleted when you post any issues related to the subject. That means, before you are going to write something about that matter, you must first understand the matter and post a detailed post about it, your post will not be deleted.
Suppose you want to know why your post is deleted. But if I write something about another topic here but my post must be deleted.
So always try to post with relevant topics.

Thank You
