So i recently got a thing for designing shirts or making logo for some personal occassions. Since i love my work, i am planning to have a tshirt printing business which is unique and new from the eyes of the new generation consumers. Im planning to have a  design which is all cryptocurrency and ask for bitcoin as a payment if possible. Ofcourse i will start first in my country and have a feasibility studies first. Any thoughts about it?

Below are some designs i made. Please share your thoughts if that can be a good idea or not. Negative comments will be appreciated.

Thinking of a viable business for yourself and entrepreneurship in general is almost never a bad idea. But in my opinion, you still need some learning and practicing to do. It's almost like you just grabbed some logos and added some text around it using Windows' paint. Try harder. Best of luck.

May I know what kind of feasibility you're referring to? the t-shirt business or studies? I do really like the second t-shirt design also I'm glad to see users that wants to offer their service to promote cryptocurrency, It's like promoting it to the real world which is most people will going to be curious or be aware of what really a cryptocurrency through t-shirt designs.

Such designs on socks, underclothes, cups etc would be also a good idea, I would not wear those tshirts for some reasons. Besides, you can also work with new crypto projects.

Any kind of business that is innovative will always easier to sell. Anyway, t-shirt business is always profitable if you have regular customers. Focus on advertising and you will end up selling anything.

So basically you are willing to start a Print on Demand business which will accept cryptocurrency. I am also working on a similar idea but for a different niche. You don't need to start in your country first, rather you can start it worldwide! Let me give you the steps below,

1. Create a wordpress website
2. Integrate Woocommerce plugins (see some youtube tutorials)
3. Integrate either Custom cat or Printify in your blog
4. You can upload your own designs
5. Get orders
6. Custom cat/printify will fulfill your orders and ship to your clients
7. keep the profit.

Entrepreneur is the key to becoming self employed, I love the concept of designing shirt's with crypto inscription, I will like to order for one of those designs and will be waiting when your business will go international for me to have it delivered to my country.

It's a pretty good idea, but not only t-short you need to think more widely it can be any clothes. You can brand anything with motivational phrases and cryptocurrency.

It's an amazing idea !! What about making more logos for different projects? ICOs and starups, even campaigns who make business here at the forum, may take this method into consideration especially if you succeed selling Tishirts here.

I wouldn't want to wear something screaming "I AM A HODLER". Even if you don't own many coins, It can make you a target for the thieves. You'll just raising unwanted attention on you. Many computer hacks happen only after the hacker makes sure of that he owns/knows everything (passwords, home address, everything) about you. He hits you and takes everything in seconds. You won't even understand what hit you and how.

That t-shirt just might be the trigger/reason for a long term thievery/hack session which might happen to you.

The t shirt business is over saturated and the profit margins are quite small.  I don't think it is a business worth going to.  The only real positive is that you can start it with very little capital.  If you have a small budget and determination I say go for it but don't expect to make a fortune.

When I read the thread I thought the same thing you just said. Imagine that someone is wearing this shirt on the street, and the thieves look at the bitcoin symbol on the shirt and search and discover that bitcoin is worth many dollars, it was as if the owner of the shirt had asked to suffer some robbery

Why not? But as someone has said, the market is somewhat saturated and unless you have a good design that most people like and will buy then you can make a fortune out of it.

That's really good, already there were more similar services provided by the users. When you provide the same for an affordable cost including shipping this will be used by more cryptocurrency users. This will also help with the spreading about cryptocurrency around.

I think it is great a business and a way to promote crypto on your own way.
I really like the idea but I think you need to be more creative to attract customers.

If you plan to expand your business world wide then you should consider the bitcoin logo design on other things also, and not just on T-shirts. No one will wear these T-shirts in a country where bitcoin is illegal because it may cause unnecessary troubles.

entrepreneurship and starting a business is everyone's choice. we will never find results when we never try. doing business does require high morale and struggle, we must hone our potential. adjustments regarding business expertise will be determined from the basic skills and experience we have.

Anything that will combine your hubbies and your interest will be much enjoying to do, this kind of an actions only showed how creative your mind is, best to make more ideas and create such plans and have also backup just in case things will be tough at first, make sure to have a good venue for your business. It is best if you do not limit your designs to crypto but also include funny and witty ones. And add other merchandise like cups or mags.

The idea of accepting bitcoin as payment is great. Even just posting "We accept bitcoin" can generate a lot of interest for bitcoin in your area.

There are still a lot of questions to answer.  How much are you willing to spend on advertising and on what platforms?  How much inventory will you keep in stock at a time? How will you handle refunds and returns?  What separates you apart from the competition?

And maybe oversaturated is an understatement...

There are 8 custom printing shops with tshirts, cups, pillows etc etc, one in every superstore in my city.
There is at least one (in a case I know 3) in every mall in the city and we have 6!

Let's throw in the shops and the dedicated websites and I think we have at least 50!
How many people would want a custom t-shirt and how many would want one more than once a year?
Even if we say 1% it would mean 10 000 customers split between 50 business over a year..

First thing you have to check is how many people are doing the same in your area or town.


Shipping will kill your business as the cost would double the price for a t-shirt.
Why would you want to order it online when you can go to a store in your neighborhood, check how they look in real life and have it by next day?

These designs are pretty much in common and I think you need to create a better idea for this. It's too simple for me. But it's a good start. Probably create something more that is a little bit complicated. Since that design can be made by anyone.

Anything includes this one is not a bad idea. Just make sure if you want to start a business, you should know your potential cutomers. Because, it is going to be worthless -no matter how great your idea- if you don't know how to sell your product. Anyway, I love the second one!

I think you should go for it. Seems fine to me. Although it lacks some perfection but thats what business is for yiu will gradually improve your design and sales. Btw in a business no matter how gpod stuffs you have the important thing is to reach people who want to buy your products.

I think it's a good idea. Especially if you make sure the quality of the shirts and the prints makes them reliable.
I liked the design with "believe", but I think that it would be better if only B was in the orange circle. As for "trader", some letters are poorly readable because of the white background they appear on. So I think you should work on designs more.
It would also probably make sense to create an online shop, so that people from different countries are able to choose and purchase the shirts. Good luck!

Good steps for headstart, I was also planning this kind of local business however when markets crashed all my plans derailed. It's better to have physical business rather than depending on market profits all the time, hopefully this year will rain some luck to gather funds for my future plans.

Thank you for the honest opinion. Dont worry, the designs are just drafts and im working on my skill on photoshop as of now. Its kinda hard to learn though specially theres no one who can teach me to do it but the main goal if ever would be cryptoshirts paid with cryptocurrency.

I think you will make it immediately and don't forget to use logos / images related to bitcoin and crypto because until now the shirt and shirt makers still haven't touched this opportunity. I'm so in support of that and I'd really be glad to know the proceedings of your feasibility studies. It'll help you know your stands regarding to crypto usage in your country. Moreover, I think this is what we should all be doing to help with the adoption. We need to start integrating the use case in our everyday job/activities and it'll help with the spread of the good news.

OP should not expect a huge income from this business, but at least he is contributing in raising awareness about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies and incentivizing his customers to start using it.

It is not an innovative business. What can make the difference is your commercial ability and your creativity.

You are already the idea on how to start and your designs should be unique as much as possible but I like the 2nd shirt to be honest.  ;D

Profit may be too small but if there will be a continuous order, the business can stand on its own after naming its own brand. @OP be open to re-sellers because that will help you to cater more orders and customers and the same time, it will save you a lot of time and effort for marketing your products. It's great that you are trying to make your own business and trying to promote cryptocurrency with your designs and that you will be accepting bitcoin as payment as well. Simple design and a nice shirt that's what I wanted, I don't want a crowded design in my own opinion. And just a suggestion write the Latin word of Bitcoin in the back of the shirt that would be nice. However, we have a different perspective view I like the idea of others too. If this is successful please reserve 1 and I order this kind of shirt.

This is not a bad idea at all, but you should know your market as in knowing the possible number of people who are interested in buying and owning a t shirt with the logo cryptocurrencies on it.  In as much that it is a nice design, how lucrative this can be is the most important thing to consider before going into full production of the T shirts.

It's really a good idea. You're doing what to want and like, and at the same time, you're earning. It can also help for other people to discover and add awareness about crypto when they saw someone wearing that kind of shirt. But I think, you still need to learn more for the design. Well, you could make the buyers to provide the design they want. But it's better to practice making a design.

There will always be a big market for t-shirt business since people of all ages can be your captive market. Here in the world of cryptocurrency, many people would love to wear something that can identify with their love for Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This is just a matter of offering attractive designs or maybe let your customers choose the design they would love to be printed on their ordered t-shirts or even other apparels. My point is any business is a good idea. Its only a matter of how can you manage it. I see that you want to do some t shirt logos. I think you must create a printing press where you can create t shirt logos, you can design mugs, create stickers etc but first do some research especially if you have some competitions in your area. Bitcoin as another mode of payment for you is unique because I didn't see any printing press that accepts Bitcoin (or if there is, say it here :D).

Well it is not bad idea at all. I mean you were amazing because you are trying to run your own business besides, you even ask some ideas of our fellow cypto-user which is good for me. For more improvement, you should totally put more effort in it like have your own design coming from your own idea and for design always keep it simple because folks are more unto a simple one.

Having a business is not a bad idea, you just need to study further about it and you have to be more creative. As I can see with your sample shirt print, its quiet common and there's no something special about it, remember that a lot of printing businesses and you must think ahead of them. Go for it! This is a good way of letting people know about bitcoin. This is the representation of the adage "walk the talk". If we want to let people know about cryptocurrency and the like, then there should be another way of relaying the idea aside from published articles and videos.

Then, aside from shirts, there are also other merchandise that you can design like caps, mugs, tumblers, pins, stickers for vehicles. Something like those. And may I suggest that in the prints, you can add some humor to it and not just more on the serious side so that there is a variation. Furthermore, your plan to accept bitcoin as payment is also a wonderful idea. Selling products online can begin not only in your country but on a much larger scale. everything you want to think about business is a good editor and it just means that your future is beautiful. no matter how much people think business as not elligal can be done and it can also help people who need work. and the painting of the cryptocurrency logo in the t shirt indicates people that the cryptocurrency is still strong until now.

I agree that you could practice a bit more, but don't get discouraged by the comments here. I am choosy about things. Anyway, your bitcoin is better than the trader shirt. Then again, you only posted two types.

Another factor that can make your shirts much more attractive is the quality of the material. If your material is top grade, it's a huge huge plus.

I like your idea and I will even tell you more. I already have a similar T-shirt but only with embroidery and not a print. I made it myself and it turned out very creatively and I even thought to create a small additional income from this direction, but unfortunately, there is not enough time to implement this idea. And I wish you good luck and I think that with the onset of a new bull market, the demand for your products will be great.

Since you want to start your business in your country. You better start promoting it on your local boards to see if they are indeed interested with your work. Getting a feedback from them is necessary because you can determine if you are going to continue doing it or not

I want to do trade but I am not yet totally ready, Yes I have knowledge but I want to do it perfectly since I want to earn, have a best exchange. Is it a good idea to pursue myself to do trade right now without considering those reasons?

Seems like you live in philippines and all I know philippines is a country who accept bitcoin well. So, your business can develop with this factor because you can make other people have an interest to know more about bitcoin especially to make bitcoin can be accepted by many merchants. I like your concept actually, because with the factor of fashion someone can have an interest easily.

Just a little suggestion from me, business plan are important thing before you make a business, don't start to buy everything before you make a business plan or you just look at the similar business from other people, I don't think that is a good idea. I have an experience when I try to make a business with similar concept with someone. I just copied what he did and I don't have a different concept to run my business. Eventually, I was attacked by several problems and I did not know to deal with it and I went bankrupt.

Building or opening a business is a big risk in life also. It is one of the decision that we are choosing in life.
But if you really love what you are doing you will do every thing for it to work. And i love your ideas. You can also try to print in on mugs for souvenirs.

Interesting ideas, only things I consider is the cost for the delivery. If you want to expand the business, you should service more people, will there be enough business for you if only for cryptocurrency.
