Title: Crypto integration into existing products and services.
Post by: georgehosterguy on May 02, 2019, 09:27:19 AM
Hey all,

One thing that I'm having the debate about in my own head at the moment is what's better for crypto....

1. Traditional companies integrating crypto (or starting their own)

2. Crypto exclusive startup companies (i.e no existing business or customer base)

On one hand crypto start ups are the pure option but on the other hand the first option will bring more users into the eco system?

What do you think?

G

I think if companies will integrate crypto as a payment system then more and more people will start use and buy where is possible, product of the companies with crypto, will be more easy for who have crypto and also not take some time to convert into money and buy.

I go with the traditional companies integrating crypto and the reason for it is that a company with a solid background can easily access the hearts of the consumers and their trust of cours.

The first ones will buy the second ones when they will be proven successful ;D
The problem with pre-existing companies launching their own crypto is that their structures don't fit the technology very well.

I think for mass adoption we do need existing companies and businesses to adopt and implement crypto it could be both by implementing it technichally to their business for efficiency and secondly for all payments and transfers crypto should be an option for example, a superstore pays salary to its employees, it purchases its inventory and lastly customers pay it so for all these steps where money is involved use of cryptocurrencies should be encouraged for mass adoption and real world value.

Over the years, cryptocurrencies were being used both as a mode of payment as well as a store of value. Being used as a mode of payment, traditional companies have started integrating btc using coinpayments or other similar API's and they can be used as a payment term. But there are quite a handful of gambling companies which have created their own token and have integrated them.

These gambling companies are literally similar to startup companies based on cryptocurrencies. When binance started their excahnge, they raised money through their token, similarly startups are being engaged in raising money through ICO's. If the crypto startups have a solid core technology and innovative idea they can better just bring more people into the ecosystem and can create a wider base for their token.

Cryptocurrency integration is a very long and difficult path. Therefore, the availability of money and the intention to introduce the blockchain does not guarantee you success. I think everyone needs to try to inegrate blockchain.

Yes companies and  group adopting bitcoin and cryptocurrency for payment of they product's and that will result into wider adoption. In crypto is fully integrated into an existing companies this will give a market accessibility to they product's and also to general publication of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Products become a mandatory thing for companies that want to exist in the financial market that integrates digital currency as a payment medium. especially when the product is needed for daily needs. the more products the better the existence and circulation of the digital currency. some services already have it and now if applied to large companies it will certainly have a positive effect on the future of digital currencies.

it should be the number one consider the traditional companies must create such a good step to adopt the future of technology. it will be very important to the crypto consider the traditional market still has a lot of money too.

Ideally this should have been the case you know, where existing projects adopt the blockchain technology to provide better services but the sad thing is that most of these existing projects don't believe in the solutions provided by blockchain technology and this is what gave birth to all these numerous ICO and IEOs. Hopefully in the near future things would change.

1. Traditional companies integrating crypto (or starting their own)
They can create on their own if they think that it's more reliable for their business and company. If its productivity, let them what they want to do but for me, for someone that sees a lot of this lately, they should start focusing accepting bitcoin, ethereum & litecoin.
2. Crypto exclusive startup companies (i.e no existing business or customer base)
Start ups can ride the popularity of crypto but it won't do much effect for their business, this is what I've noticed for most startups.
On one hand crypto start ups are the pure option but on the other hand the first option will bring more users into the eco system?
Yes, because they have their brand and they are already popular.

Agree with this. A crossover into traditional markets would be a success multiplier for projects so should aim for it.

It is good for existing companies to implement crypto into their existing business model in possible ways, because we already have a lot of companies that have made name for themselves, just imagine facebook adopting cryptos as a means of payment for ad or adding a reward system to their platform via crypto, this way people will believe more in crypto than when a startup just comes up with a new project that haven't been done before, people will still have doubt including you.

Crypto integration would be the fist step whereas final step might be adopting bitcoin as means of payments. Other than payment methods, blockchains are evaluating in all business domains as distributed computing and distributed data handling are being achieved in more reliable and consistent way through blockchain technology.

Crypto integration might turn as a inevitable transformation for business in near future, it seems.

I think traditional companies integrating crypto will be better because that will give a chance for the adoption to comes since they have a large customer in real life. They will tell their customer about the cryptocurrency and let them try to pay whatever they bought with cryptocurrency. And if that works, I think the adoption will start faster than before because I think the customer will be curious about what is cryptocurrency.

The customer now is become smart, and they want to use a simple method to purchase, and they want to try with a new payment system. So if the traditional companies can introduce cryptocurrency to their customer, it will help cryptocurrency to grow more than now.
