Post by: Vikhy on May 02, 2019, 01:06:40 PM

I have made a comparison between Nano, an established coin vs x42, a new project with impressive features.

Please point out corrections,if any.

Each project comes with features that claim to be new and superior. But what's real is more important. Nano has achieved important things for the market. Let's see how your project will be.

you forget to mention IOTA and Gbyte (byteball).

But wait a little bit, is this for real? IOTA used DAG which can create a zero fees transaction and instant transaction consider it eliminates the miners and replace it with the server. that looks so weird and you must create a comparison between any platform that working in the same field. Blockchain and DAG are different stories

Well is a good comparison, but if more and more developer will find a way like Nano did with captchas for distribution then maybe more people will be interested on a new coin. And there yes are already some coins like Nano and x42, IOTA and Gbyte.

Iota has zero fees, but afaik it is still depending on the coordinators and doesn't reward users who run full nodes, while x42 rewards users in the form of staking rewards and also for hosting dApps.
iota aims for IoT messaging and payments.
Gbyte(byteball) is not feeless?

Thank you, there is a bitcointalk airdrop going on for x42 ,i agree it will take some time for the platform to become more mature and encourage developers to build on it.

Exactly, you have said it all, we are not so freaked about new project anymore, because we have seen a lot of company that comes up with mind blowing project but in few months they are all nowhere to be found, so I think we would always prefer nano to this your project until it is able to proof to us that all the promises that have been made are achieved or are becoming to be achieved, so let's just wait and hope for the best from your project.

That's what most ICOs claim,we can also see the recent increasing trend of IEOs.
However x42 didn't have any ico.
While nano tech is interesting, it lacks some features like i have mentioned above.

I was looking forward to mining it because it is being compared to Nano but it's not mineable anymore

But I want to MINE x42 with my GPU!1!1!
Sorry, it is not possible. Purchase some x42 from one of the partnered exchanges and stake the coins. You will be surprised how good of a passive income proof-of-stake can be.

but Nano has fully established itself and one of the things that make Nano good is the distribution, I'm one of its captcha workers, back when it was known as MRAI.

Yes, nano had a unique distribution.
