Two days ago, Dogecoin officially supported and listed on Coinbase. From now on, users of Coinbase can be able to store their Dogecoin in wallet app on Coinbase platform. Additionally, Coinbase also supports testnet of Dogecoin. The coin is the newest one, after BTC, ETH, BCH, ETC, XRP, and XLM supported by Coinbase. It seems that Elon Musk did not make a joke with his tweet on Dogecoin months ago.

I think this would be a fantastic additional to coinbase. Although, I am still unable to buy it. Coinbase added a price chart for doge a while back but not buy support. I hope they add buy support to it.

This will be a good news for the coinbase users. Getting listed on more exchanges help with the increasing trades which will enrich the circulation of the assets. Already dogecoin has got good trading volume and there used to be continued variation supportive for trading. This too seems to be a good for all investors as the price is low it seems much affordable among the top listed altcoins within 50 of CMC.

This is a great milestone for both parties Dogecoin and coinbase, users can now trade they dogecoin on one of the leading cryptocurrency exchange coinbase. I don't really know what the trading fee for dogecoun is on coinbase I have been searching for that information now if any trader have traded dogecoin on coinbase should please share the fee.

Its a good motivation for Doge fandom i think, and as a long time user of coinbase, i think this is now my chance to buy more of it, as most of my funds is in coinbase wallet. Its a great move.

Never thought I'd see the day that Dogecoin was listed on Coinbase.
They've come pretty far, if you think that it all started out as a joke coin.

I do like Doge, transactions are a lot faster than Bitcoin for example, I tend to use it for gambling :)

The price is even lower than the price listed before listing. It doesn't seem to have a positive effect.

It's actually a surprise to see dogecoin added to Coinbase. Being a joke coin is something that nobody expected to be added with this big exchange, everybody loves dogecoin.

It's a good news for dogecoin, finally accepted on big exchange like coinbase. Also the crypto market is increasing so high right now, combined with that news it makes the price of dogecoin become increase. I just checked the price on coinmarketcap and it increased +7% and it will be more.

a joke coin does not mean a valueless coin. In fact, Dogecoin is a big coin, and sometimes it was ranked in the top 20 on coinmarketcap. Temporarily, Dogecoin stays at the 28th position on coinmarketcap. Even a few top altcoins on coinmarketcap with higher positions than Dogecoin don't have too much application and real use cases like Dogecoin. I don't think calling Dogecoin as a small coin is appropriately based on what Dogecoin has reached by now.

It's the title of Dogecoin, I don't have it and I even loved it unlike any other altcoin. Dogecoin is big and it's even one of the savior during those all time high days when the miners fee were too much. Current rank of Dogecoin is top 28 and it's still high before I saw it rank on 30+.

It would seem that getting listed on Coinbase is not as much of a pump as in the past. Investors must be getting smarter and realise that the people who only use Coinbase and don't buy coins on any other exchange are a small group and not very important to the overall market. Still, a little good news for fans of the Doge.

The news was very good and previously it had been announced by CoinBase itself. Doge coin volume has indeed increased but unfortunately on the price side it is still not, dogecoin is still likely to follow the bitcoin movement yesterday.

it must be like that when bitcoin goes down doge is able to pump, but it's not. although doge has an increasing volume but in my opinion the doge price remains stable at a fixed price. maybe when the market has recovered and the price of bitcoin has increased again it could have an impact on increasing doge.

Yes, this is an awesome news for Dogecoin which will surely makes it to moon for a while but I don't think this will last for long because there's no tangible usecases for it and what Dogecoin is enjoying is because it is among the early coins but I seriously don't think this popularity will last for long.

Dogecoin a long time coin ever existed and that exist until now and is proven by time, i believe its a good move of coinbase and it will drive more confidence to this coin by the investors and traders out there, me personally im excited to buy this coin because i have the trust what coins are promoted with coinbase. Dogecoin is a coin used by many people indeed, is a good step ahead, but i wish if will be possible in future to add Dogecoin on trading on pro coinbase, but maybe this will happen after time, who know.

It seems like Dogecoin is not reacting great to this new Coinbase support, at least not at the beginning. The price and total volume has move up a little but I expected something bigger because Coinbase is a pretty popular exchange and many people use it. But still only 3 days passed so we will have to wait to see some progress

The coin started out as a meme but for beginners it is the best coin to start using the new crypto platform because of the minimal valuation and to learn how things are stored safely and the transaction charges are pretty low and it gets confirmed in a short period of time and it is time that you need support for those coins rather than the rest of the inflated coins with hype. I am not looking for a big rally because of the number of coins in existence but the usability is real from my experience.

Dogecoin is an old choice but is quite safe because every year this coin always has a huge price increase and many investors can earn good profits if they learn about this coin. The Dogecoin team has been inactive for the last few years but they are still interested in this project and certainly in the future many bigger news will come to this project. I think that considering investing in Dogecoin is the best choice to earn high profits because very few coins have a chance to be listed at Coinbase.

It is not only due to Coinbase less impacts on price of coins when they listed on the platform, but also due to current rises and falls of bitcoin within few hours. Such movements of bitcoin make emotions of investors changed fastly from pessimistic to optimistic. Therefore, they felt more careful with their decisions to spend money and buy altcoins, including Dogecoin. When bitcoin become more stable, over $6000 or in the range between $5000 and $6000, altcoins will rally considerably. Dogecoin, will rise when its time come.

I'm not saying I hate it or think it's overvalued or anything.
I just think people need to be realistic and accept it for what it is: a joke.
There have been devs who have tried to push it beyond it, but doge will always be doge.

this will give an increase to the Doge. coinbase is a large exchange and they have a high volume. maybe there will be a lot of speculation about doge at the moment and on average they think doge will rise. so there's no harm in buying doge a few weeks. I'm sure there will be a pump, even though it's not too big but enough to make a profit

I think the good news will go both ways because listing in coinbase will also make dogecoin to get more order by investors, so dogecoin holders like me  ;D will also benefit on the long term as price increases.

Dogecoin has a strong and loyal userbase who use Doge as a currency rather than just hold it as a speculative asset. Although, like other cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin can definitely be held as an investment or traded in pursuit of making a profitable return.

I agree! It was indeed long over due but nevertheless it was a strategic decision for Coinbase to list DOGE which could bring more good to both of them. Despite being late, we should commend Coinbase in recognizing DOGE to be listed in their exchange  as this one of the goals of most crypto's - to be listed in one of the reputable exchange in crypto verse.

Actually, the support and influence that coinbase can provide just can exceed our expectation, I recently noticed that, when a coin just get listed there, it just happen that it change allot, from a low price point, to something achiever that it can even increase upto 20 percent higher (that's the minimum). But don't expect that other exchange can perform and boost a coin like this way, by the way, let's expect Dogecoin uptrend.

I always consider dogecoin as a valuable coin for me. It is well known coin for low transaction fee with high transfer speed. I mostly use dogecoin for transactions. Now supporting by coinbase might be helpful for increasing dogecoin value in coming days. Expectations are higher that doge will move up with this step. To be honest, I am a little impressed that such a project has achieved such success and received a listing on one of the largest exchanges and this is a great achievement for this project and sincerely congratulate the project team with such success and wish further development and creation of a good product.

Doge list on coinbane, maybe it will have a good effect for Doge coin.
If we look again, Doge is old coin and still survive in here like LTC, Stellar and other old coin who still survive on market.
Doge is not coin to invest and good coin to daily trade.
So if coinbane listed Doge with high volume trading everyday that is mean good time to trade with Doge.

Dogecoin moved up and reached 40 satoshis, that is important price for the coin. If Dogecoin can break it, the coin might see good growth later. It has been sticker in price range below 40 satoshis for many, many weeks. I saw there are not too much sell walls above 40 satoshis or 41 satoshis; that are two big sell walls should be broken to help the coin rising higher.  We will have clearer picture next few hours. (Update around 6 hours later: Sell walls above 40 satoshis have piled up and become bigger.)

I hope that they will list also Dogecoin on their Coinbase earn platform and I will be able to earn some dogecoins finally for learning.  ;D

I think it's strange if Coinbase chooses Dogecoin it is better to choose another coin to enter CoinBase for example Cardano because it is better than Doge.

A little bit update for today: Dogecoin temporarily stays aroudn 36 satoshi to 38 satoshis depends on specific exchange. Total volume of Dogecoin over last day is nearly 45k Bitcoins, that equal to $66,845,665 with the current rate of Bitcoin in USD. The chart (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dogecoin/#charts) of Dogecoin shows that the coin has gradually fallen in BTC pair, but increased in USD pair.
