I mean, I always knew that Coinbene was a shady exchange, but do you have your own proof to back your claim?

Coinbene? Hm, I never heard of those exchange.
I hope that people know what they do regard to join in a new exchange and don't use huge money to trade.
By the way, I visit on Coinbene website, and I see that their website is almost the same with Binance, but they have a green color on the homepage.
I will wait for the screenshots.

I traded Howdoo there, and just before it was hacked I withdrew my Howdoo, I have never have to return back to it again after they resume their operations. Had to sell off my tokens on Idex market. A freind has been trading on coinbene he hasn't had a bad experience, once you present your proof, I will show him in other to avoid losses.

Firstly, this topic does not belong in this board which is why I advise you to move it to Scam Accusations board asap op. Secondly, this is the first time that I have heard of this exchange since I primarily stick to popular exchanges like Binance and Bittrex.

Basically, Op has not yet provided us the proof of these accusation and not substantial in my own opinion. Although, i have the believe that the exchange looks shading but must wait for OP on conclusion on this accusation against Coinbene.

Perhaps this thread belongs to Trading discussion (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=8.0) or the Exchanges (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=223.0) boards

It's not a scam accusation unless you present it in a specific format with some proof of getting scammed:
Here is the format you can follow:
Code:
[b][color=black]What happened: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Scammers Profile Link: [/color][/b]

[b][color=black]Reference Link: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Amount Scammed: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Payment Method: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]Proof of Payment: [/color][/b]
[b][color=black]PM/Chat Logs: [/color][/b]

You want to say that several hundred dollars can be stolen, and stealing large deposits is already bad? whatever the amount is a fraud, often with small amounts people just keep silent as it turned out. thanks God I sent not a lot , about 1000000 tokens(+-2000$)

No, but I think that one exchange most likely will not risk his trust for "few" dollars when they move millions of dollars but everything can be possible.
And you right, 1k here 1k there and they can scam a lot of money.

Are you sure that is the official email from them and this is their official telegram?

Can you also post the eth address?

1. You are not aware of the upgrade, it's actually your own mistake to deposit an old token.

2. It is weird that they asked 0.1ETH in order to refund your token, they can simply let your token because this is your own mistake.

From my own conclusion, I think we should as much as possible avoid such unpopular exchanges especially after they have been hacked. Who knows that they could be trying to recover money from the losses as a result of the past hacks.

yes, you are right, before sending them my funds, I looked at the forums, there were no complaints! In fact, it turned out that the exchange carries out fraudulent actions, therefore, created this topic so that other people would be warned

I did a little search on google and found this:

https://www.forexbrokerz.com/brokers/coinbene-review

Coinbene is scam
I cann't withdraw my funds for days, coinbene should fix the withdraw buttons which are deactivated.

Don't send your cryptocurrency to Coinbene, you will not be able to withdraw your funds.

Coinbene is definitely a scam

Scam Stolen My Deposit
I deposit 100 MXM $14 usd. but not add.
i contract but no response.

Coinbene is Scam
Coinbene is scam. Made a small test today:
Deposit 1000 ETN.
Credited 827 ETN
I could not find anywhere a list of fees for deposit. In this case they kept 17,3%
Exchanged to BTC: 0,1% exchange fee
Received 0,00132983 BTC
Trying to retrieve:
Fees for retreiving: 0.001 BTC

Left after dedacting the fees: 0.00032983 BTC
This is below the minimum of 0.001 BTC for withraw.

BTW: during the transactions the connection to the Coinbene servers were interrupted 2 times and some steps had to be repeated twice.

The result of this experiment:

A TOTAL LOSS

Withdraws
So it's second week im waiting withdraws from Coinbene for Pundi X.
Support just ignoring messages and emails. Delete them as well from telegram.
Don't use! Such as crap!

reading these comments realize that there are already months that coinbene has had these problems

The site has a large number of members, which cost $ 1-10,000
What does its value matter to you?
What does it mean when the site does not open access to the wallet after 1 month?
And they do not specify time to open call&put wallet .

The value matters cause one thing is 1$ scam accusation and another one is 300 btc scam accusation.

You need to be more specific and folloew the standard scam accusation format if you want too open a legit and readable accusation.

I have 20 $ in the call&put account and 100 $ in the main wallet . When I saw that after a month, my call&put wallet did not open. I transferred the main wallet . They had to give them an exact time to finish their work. This is common in all sites. But what can it mean without telling the exact time after a month?( scam )

For the test, carry out operations on small amount of coin.

Will NEVER use this exchange myself again.  Absolute shit show.  Haven't been able to withdraw from there for over 2 months, support stopped responding after first try.  Take it to telegram, they basically call me liar, delete all my posts then ban me.  Bottom line, their support is horrible some coins seemingly get disabled for withdrawals for months at a time, they not only ignore but publicly insult their customers LOL....ya, great business...or just another shit show of a crypto exchange, I've convinced of that latter.

Definitely NOT deserving of anyone's business!

I'm having issues with them to this day, years later. I'll revise / add in a new comment if they ever fix anything. I'd advise to stay away.
