In our country we have our local wallet where users can directly trade fiat-bitcoin/eth/xrp/bch or vice versa. We can use it to pay bills, services, purchase goods since other merchants accept online payment, and it even use it to directly make a deposit to a bank. 

I hope as time goes by, the usage of crypto will not be limited as in we can use it to buy anything.

I primarily use BTC in certain gaming websites which accept BTC as a form of payment. They provide other payment options too like Paypal, Debit card, Credit card etc, but I stick to BTC since it is far more convenient and the volatility does not affect me.

Through crypto debit cards I can buy anything I want with Bitcoin as visa or mastercard is accepted everywhere. Besides that, there are many shops accepting Bitcoin but I don't think I would pay with btc.

No, in my country you can't buy anything with bitcoin directly. Also we can't trade legally due restriction from government. But indirectly possible trade and use bitcoin. Just we need convert into local money. However few international organisations allowing bitcoin as a payment method, and hope slowly it will be accept all over world but need time. Who know perhaps after few years even we can use on our native country. Nothing is impossible, just need a revulsion.

I've seen a plenty of listings with places that accept BTC and in almost all cases that was a some kind of PR move where either BTC prices were much higher than the market prices to that stuff or it is simply  far not the cheapest shop and you may find another one with everything 50% cheaper. So it may be much easier and cheaper to sell your BTC on exchange and buy whatever you need in any store with your fiat.

That's what I experienced too, I live in a country that has services that can pay various bills. I feel happy because now I have the ease and speed in every financial transaction that I do. Bitcoin and digital currencies have changed my life, I now have income from investments that I have and I also get the opportunity to be able to do various financial transactions so safely and comfortably.

Bitcoin has not yet impacted the real life of people by I think that mass adoption is coming slowly and steadily.
In my country the government is thinking to allow the citizens to pay taxes in cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin/Ether/Ripple) and this is going to be a huge step forward. The sad thing that if this happen then the environment will be somehow regulated.

I think when you have Bitcoin you almost buy everything from on the other hand it brings wealth and changes people's lives. Our increasing confidence in Bitcoin and the future that I believe Bitcoin will be even more popular.

Obviously you could buy anything with Bitcoin, it was a currencies right? In Japan Market the big ones, or even on the small market bitcoin already accepted as Legal Payment method. so you can buy anything with it except if the regulation of the County bitcoin was prohibited for transaction purpose than Bitcoin was worthless, yet time by time Nations/countrys/regions starting to legalize bitcoin. With bitcoin we can buy each and everything, and this depends upon the effort that we take. As in the op we've got increased number of services and stores accepting bitcoin compared to the past. There are people who are meeting their life needs with the direct usage of bitcoin.

Yes, it might not be a direct bitcoin-to-bitcoin transaction, but least we can used our bitcoin to buy, purchase goods and pay our bills and for me that is the closest we can get to the mass adoption we all have been longing for.

There are websites that accepts bitcoin as payment though, haven't tried it because I know the custom fees will be exorbitant.

Bitcoin grows a lot now and this is the proof that bitcoin is widely accepted on some places and mostly on the online sites. Before is the devoloping years of bitcoin and right now, its the start of the adoption level. I think bitcoin is already stretch his market power buying. Now it can buy real state? That's great news. Investment are going to buy another investment. As you all said before, bitcoin has become an impactful currency and it’s still growing more and more. Perhaps, in the future it would be treated like a normal currency not only crypto.  Maybe even all cryptocurrencies will displace physical ones. In my country there are not so many places where you can pay by bitcoin, it seems like it’s still a newness. Of course I wish it wasn’t. I think I cannot use bitcoin to buy a product in an offline store because no available store was already accepting bitcoin, but I can buy something online.
It still needs time to wait before I can use bitcoin to buy something and I should be patient to wait for a while.
But personally, I don't feel comfortable to use bitcoin to buy anything because I treat bitcoin as an investment for a long time and if I use bitcoin, then I will convert it first into fiat so I will use fiat to buy something.

This gat to do with individual country becasue Bitcoin has not yet be adopted by many countries. In our country we have an apps or local wallet that you can directly store your bitcoin and exchange it into fiat currency. But the good news is you can also use bitcoin directly to buy loads and pay your bills like water,electric and many more. Very convenient. Through bitcoin you can use it as payment method without leaving your house.

For now, onlt few things that bitcoin can buy and it was being integrated to an application which is the coins.ph. One can buy load, payment on bills and other esports coins that is use to buy for items in an esport game like mobile legend, steam and etc.

Wow, never heard of that before so I think that would be really great since, with a lot of people accepting Bitcoin, other will tend to be aware of that currency and will try to use it too. nice article you got there op  . ive read it and i see that microsoft did accept bitcoin payments  . its nice to see that a big company such as microsoft is also interested on bitcoin but nowadays there are now also other big companies that started to partner with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies  .  in term of usage bitcoin can now be use on almost anything but it'll also depend on the country that you are in because some countries only have a limited support for bitcoin  .

Here in my country you can pay most bills. Remittance here is booming and is really embraced by individuals and even companies. If you are pertaining to cryptocurrency as a real medium of exchange then this is still not available in my country. Stalls doesnt have any bitcoin option and ask for a cash or credit cards. Actually, there are so many , Because based on my research some places in Japan use bitcoin as their alternate currency like if they don't have cash in their wallets. I saw a website selling a car and accepting bitcoin and ethereum as a mode of payment. I see that people are now slowly adopting bitcoin.

Exactly my country not yet support bitcoin, we can do only mobile recharge via bitcoin! and I have using bitcoin for ptc gambling sites and also trade for Usd! Most of the time i just buy Fiat.

Other times some virtual goods that do accept bitcoin as a payment currency.
Those virtual goods can be some game currency, a product from a buyer which is equal to something in real life or an online lottery ticket.

There is an infinity of things that can be bought with 1 bitcoin nowadays, it's also possible to pay enough expenses to live for more than 1 year with just 1 bitcoin, maybe it's possible to live almost 2 years with 1 bitcoin, having an acceptable confort in some countries.

you mean other countries didnt accept bitcoin as a payment method ?  but they accept bitcoin as means of asset or for other purpose ? well if thats the case then you can try buying stuff's online using your bitcoin  . most online stores are not restricted to a certain country  .

Until now I have made purchases using bitcoin by exchanging bitcoins with fiat or real money to buy anything or save it.

Here in my place, you can use your Bitcoin to pay bills such as electric and water bills. Internet and telecommunications bills could also be paid with Bitcoin. You can also use your BTC to shop online. I doubt if there is a physical store that accepts Bitcoin though. But you can definitely use your Bitcoins to eat at average and above average restaurants.

In our country using bitcoin as mode of payments for goods and services is still limited. But,it is already used as payments for bills,and buy loads. In our country we have an apps where you can store bitcoin and can buy and pay bills or even exchange to fiat directly. Hoping that someday the used of bitcoin as mode of payment continue to develop and expand in which you can buy anything,everywhere like you are using fiat money.

It always surprises me when some people say that they constantly use Bitcoin as their main currency. I would like to use Bitcoin, but in my daily life at the moment it has no place. All the shops and services that I use accept only fiat money. I hope that in the future this situation will change for the better and I will be able to use bitcoin at least on a par with fiat money :-\

If you are referring to something that Bitcoin can buy, then not all items can be bought in our country. But because there is a platform that can convert Bitcoin and some altcoins to our local currency transfer it to my bank account then I can say that everything can be bought by Bitcoin. We can also buy something on the net and delivered it for someone, for families and friends. That is how convenient it is. If all countries will accept Bitcoin and altcoins, I think everything will be very easy.

I’m very happy to see many shops has started to accept Btc payments all around the world. Bitcoin adoption is actually seems very good. Couple years ago it was hard to find any stores to use BTC to buy some goods. Time flies and now we have many options to use Btc. I prefer to keep my Btc though.. :)

This is one problem why crypto's adoption is slow. Most of the establishments right now doesn't accept cryptos because of its volatility.

Thats too basic for btc  .  most of those service that you listed are mainly online so its not shocking at all to see bitcoin as one of the payment method that they'l soon accept knowing that bitcoin is now becoming well known  .

what i expect is something that is un-usual to use our bitcoin with like for example on a local grocery store or on an a bakeshop nearby  . i guess what my wish isnt something easy to achieve and it will take more time before bitcoin will be totally accepted by every people in this planet .

I use Bitcoin to pay my Hosting and Domain since many years and since around 2 years i can buy pizza and more food stuff with bitcoin.
Also its now possible to buy flights with bitcoin here in Germany.

I think we are in the same country since we can do the same in our country.

I do use some of my Bitcoins to buy game credits, especially Steam credits since I usually play Dota2 and CSGO. I think what you don't mention here is the bills. Through an exchange, an application or even a website but the same platform, you can pay bills like electric bill, internet bills and water bills.

I constantly pay for tickets for different hackathons, conferences, meetings using Bitcoin. I like that the organizers allow you to pay with crypto, it helps to attract more people and make the coin more famous.

What is affordable for me today is only buying digital equipment in two online stores across the country.  I would like to see more of such resources, including international companies that used Bitcoin or other cryptocurrency as a means of payment.
