I just lost a HD and have now installed linux on a new one. However I don't feels like spending the next 3 day downloading and processing 15 gigabytes of data ::)
Can I just copy the .armory and .bitcoin folders from my home directory of my laptop to my new fresh linux installation, without running into too many problems? Post by: tkbx on March 13, 2014, 03:02:50 PM I should probably point out that, while you can copy the .bitcoin directory to the new computer, you should delete the wallet.dat on the new computer (after you're sure you have a backup) and make a new one. You should never run the same wallet.dat on two computers.
