Last few weeks have been quite bullish for BTC.
As of 6 April BTC had a Weekly close above 50 MA, which is a very significant level for BTC.

As seen in history in the last bear market once BTC has gained 50 W MA the bull run has started. Should the history repeat itself?!

Yes, it's over in my own speculation I'm also relying on the old graph price movement which is obvious they are both the same movement.
For other trader and users out there I'm sure they would say that the price of bitcoin is unpredictable but for me, I believe that the price movement is following a cycle just like the 2015 and 2016 graph. So it might happen again this year.

As the market is a bit extended we might see some pullback.
Both MACD and RSI are showing a Bear divergence on Daily Time Frame.

But on a bigger Time Frame (W) there are many similarities with the 2014-2015 Bear market showing a potential reversal of the trend.

it is not that easy when the enire market is still suffering from the previous dumps, it is still not be able to stand against the stronger dumps in the future, so as an investor, i will not so soon invest all money into this situation but may be alittle longer when BTC is higher and altcoins are more stable than before, BTC still have the chance comeback to test 5000$ and get back to 6500$ again.

I personally see the latest chart of bitcoin looks the same with the chart of bitcoin at june - july 2017. The reversal has already started but the question is about when there will be big news that can create a FOMO like what has already done by the news of ETF rumour.
Okay, i remember block reward will give a lot of impact fur sure. Currently, the block reward of bitcoin gives 12.5 btc but it will decrease a half started from the next year. Big bull confirmed to happen a few years starting from now.

As to whether to wait for more increase before buying, I do believe that the greens are already here, a good altcoin is good for the ride.

IMHO the next bull run is still far away, my prediction is that we might see a similar 2017 bull run probably in 2021

The increase in the market is something that many people have been waiting for for a long time, and this market condition has shown a convincing increase. Repeated or not the history of the highest increase in bitcoin is not a problem as long as the market can continue to survive this increase.

The market is actually getting better but we can't really say that the bull market is really approaching because this has happened before. There are still lots of things to happen in the future so we can't conclude anything but the increase is favorable for those who are patiently waiting for the bull run. Positive signs are visible and it's another indication for us to keep buying Bitcoins.

I have a similar speculation as well that the big bull run that we all have been waiting for will happen in 2021. Remember that the market works in a 4 cycle run because of the block halving. So after the block halving in 2020, we might see the price picking up, but the massive bull run will occur the next year after.

So we need to stash our wallet right now because the price is cheap. It doesn't mean that we should but 1 BTC right now, just a small portion until you became a member of that 1 BTC club.

There is an uptrend that is just it, the bear market being over still is an speculation. It can still go back down to $3k, this uptrend can be disrupted with just another news about regulations and banning BTC or crypto. There is no warranty until we see prices rich its previous ATH. Price of BTC can take another year or two before it could go up to $10k

Yes, altcoin still suffering but for some altcoin, they are starting to increase the price slowly and no matter where bitcoin goes, the coin still trying to increase.
That altcoin needs to see the next bull market, and that will happen for sure, but unfortunately, we don't know when it's happening.
The bear market still there and make the market still moving without anybody can predict.

the bitcoin bear market has been over for a while now. ever since price reached $3100 it was over already but at that point we could only guess and risk considering it the bottom. but when the signs of rise started coming out it became more apparent that it was the bottom and the end of the bear market. the final blow that made everyone sure was when price went above $4k and remained there. now we are already in the bull move that is warming up slowly as the money is coming back to bitcoin from all the places it has gone including altcoins as people pull their cash out and put it back in bitcoin.

Bitcoin has proven to repeat history twice and hence there are pretty good chances that it might repeat the history again.
Although according to current market conditions the bear market is over it would be nice if we wait for a few more months before jumping into conclusions.
Most of the bull runs have taken a big leap in price after the first half of the year has finished, we should probably wait until the same.

Bear market might be over but people don't have to make a big expectation out of it. Just go with the flow and don't hype promising price target like "we will reach $10,000 this year, we will reach another ATH, brace yourselves and buy coins now" etc.

More importantly, we have now seen the "bottom" of the long period of bearish market. From there, we can take that as reference on our future strategy.

Also always remember that even bitcoin price will surely goes up no matter what, past performance can't guarantee future results. Therefore the exact period where it should goes up should not rely on bitcoin's past performance.

Are we still talking about the bear market, I thought the bear market was already over since the beginning of last month, because tracing the history back, that breakout has made bitcoin to continue to perform, during this period, many people who are not even full trader has made enough money with the little fluctuations that has happened.

I believe that the market is not fully bull market right now but of course it is bullish and since we know that Bitcoin has gotten good Decembers, in the months to come, we might enter a phase of good rise. "History repeats itself" But not all the time of course we don't have assurance that it may happened again right? but if we're going to refer on data analysis and comparing it to current situation there's a chance that it might happened again so in order to be safe what I do is to divide my investment into two parts: 1 for day/swing trading and the other half is for holding.

So in the last 60 days or so, we are up more than 50% already. So it's clearly a sign that bitcoin is out of the bears now as the price continues to grow in the past 24 hours.

But the thing is that we always wanted to see the price going up. But then again, we will see some healthy corrections and pullback along the way.

I am certain that the bear market is over but the bullish that we kind of hoping to arrive is not yet here. I bet that before we even reach $15k, traders are going to dump it again. I know that the halving is overly hyped but I think the timing of everything is very difficult to reach ath again.

 We are witnessing the current market phase has pumping rapidly and it is a good sign indeed that bear market was broke certainly. I would not say like that because I feel the bear market still around us and although it's not getting down too deep the price still getting down in every time.
And if you check on the market, you will see that the market still fluctuating and it's happened to bitcoin and altcoin too.
So you need to be sure if you have a plan to buy more coin because you can get a trap at the high price if you don't be careful.
The dump in the market will always happen, but we don't know the time to happen and all we can do is just prepare.

Yes, it would be good to wait for some more interval before coming to any conclusion. The bull markets will surely come but before that we might expect a dip which might be a game changing for some of the big whales as they would fill their pockets there and then the price for bitcoins might have a blast.

Even now we can see that the price for bitcoins have came a bit lower so anything might happen in these coming months and we might again go through the bear markets before the bulls arrive. It is good that seeing a good dip, we invest into some coins and store then in a offline wallet and hold them for long term like 6 months and counting.

It's likely that history is about to repeat itself here, but don't get your hopes high cause this is just the second time and you're not sure if it's really going to happen that same way or it might just get to a certain and then things will change it wouldn't follow the same movement again. Bitcoin has been increasing a lot recently more than any other coin in the market and it also has a bigger market cap share, which is more than fifty percent. Before the end of this year the price is going to be way above what it is now, even if it doesn't go above the $20k of last year, it is still going to reach somewhat high price.

I do hope that the bears have left the market. At least the fact that Bitcoin managed to reach 6 thousand is the best signal of it. I believe that BTC will go on growing and alts will follow it.

i believe we are heading to the bear market very soon and it will be hard to rise back after many pumps to bring FUD to the market recently, it will soon has the greater dump in next few weeks i believe, these weeks are very important when deciding will the market start rising again or not.

Very little I know about the technical analysis, very few tools are actually the ones that I handle, but I am usually struck by the fact that two lines called EMA can determine a bullish phase, I understand that there is an indicator called RSI, which is one of the determinants to be able to enter into operations when they are made or have average percentages.

What I have never been able to verify is that those who analyze the market under technical analysis make live trading following their same analysis.

I have a question, how do you know that you will be in a bullish trend through the lines called EMA? These lines consider the plans of the Strong Hands and the emotions of the people who enter the market? According to Malkiel Burton, author of the book: A random walk by Wall Streeth, these lines and harmonic figures most times fail, because if we are in a phase of accumulation and we say that we are in a bullish trend, many investors will enter without considering that the market it can be against because the accumulation phase will always aim to eliminate the entire supply of the market.

$8k level is already a bull i believe, since its $5k up from the bottom and the bitcoin doesn't stop from reaching more. Bitcoin is the basis of a bull market, and its current trend says it all. If we are able to break the next wall on $8400 then we have to celebrate the come back of a bull market, $15k in the 3rd quarter are very possible. Let's keep on praying for this one, and hope that we can reach beyond the peak.

Yes, certainly the bull run most of us went into prayers for is finally here. I know some weak hands are selling off in panic thinking a bubble is likely at this time. Well, we are likely to have corrections from time time but not a dip like we had again. It's now moon time.

I wasan`t expecting such a big move from BTC, it really is parabolic at this point and I am affraid that we might see a big pullback.

No, it's not indicated top there. You only have MA which simply is a Moving Average. MA could be Simple, Exponential, or Smoothed. But I got your point. Thanks.

overall we see bitcoin candle close above moving average.and if we see based on support and resistance concept its break key resistance on around $5900 and we see now price continue its movemen.,maybe we will see correction on around $8400

The current situation of Bitcoin indicates that the bear market is slowly shifting into bullish as we are noticing that the Bitcoin’s price is increasing day by day. On the search engines mainly Google holds the first place as most of the searches about the current prices take place on it. Buying cheap altcoins is one of the things I am thinking about now.  It looks like flipping may happen very soon and people are going to move coins from bitcoin to some of this new and good altcoins and that is going to influence those coins and tokens positively  .

I will one resistance idea. In my price speculation this how bitcoin price chart will operates in coming days.

If the bitcoin reaches the 8.4k resistance value then bitcoin will reach the 9.2k USD for sure in the marketplace. So wait for sometime check the price chart frequently. If there is growth over that 8.4k price with more green candles then surely you will make money.

I think the bear market is not over yet and it can come back any time this year so be careful of recent news as it may be a huge influence in the Crypto market. I usually only invest when the uptrend happens and will find the best way to make money in that time period because after the price increase happens then will take a long time for the market to recover. Anyway, crypto still in the period of price increase so we can still earn normal profits until the end of May

Bitcoin recently was pumped its price value in the market and We almost saw that actually.
Perhaps, bear market is now closed to bull market I am sure about this things. Actually, right now bitcoin was

The bear market still on the market whether we like or not, and it still makes the price go down after reaching the high price, but it will end soon.
We still see the volatility of the price at the market, and that can make us become confused to buy or not because we are afraid to do something related to the market.

Do some research as well why the market tend to do instantly or why such coins gain progress to know whether to sell or to keep holding even a little longer.

It's stupid if you wait for the call forever when you already had a chance when BTC had a visit at $3500. All of these small investors lost their confidence and sold it for very cheap price, that's where the real big investment players played their games and started their journey collecting as much BTC as possible before the possible rocket shot that is yet to be witnessed. Whatever price is today, it's all due to those sellers who sold for pennies and now trying to get their hands over it again. I think the market has enough liquidity to keep it stable between $6000 and $7500 for long term (like it did when it was at $3700). Technically, BTC looks to have broken all major MAs which completely derives the fact that we are headed to a massive bull run, but going overbought is what stops it from the subtle heights to be reached.

Even do this recent bitcoin price will fall at almost 10percent based on the last price high 8,000usd the correction is ongoing right now but positively i really believe price raised  strongly reach 10,000usd by the next week.

Bear market means the value of the cryptos are dropping but based on what you say , you are reffering to the bull  . Currently the price is in the middle of the bear and the bull because the value is not that high and its not also that low  .


Yes it is and its normal  that after a pump the value is also followed be a dump because its expected that people will sell to earn a profit  . History can repeat itself but lets hope that good events will only repeat ( 2017 hype for example ) and not those past bears  .

this is not a bulltrap and it is a real bullrun and not a normal flow, if it is only a normal increase then it will not be possible to increase that high. so by continuing to move up the price of bitcoin after yesterday's correction, then this is certain that the bear market is over and the market is already bullish

The current market is little like to forward so it is looks like a last year bull run because April and May it will move forward slowly so we expect some good profit in this moon. But 2017 uptrend is really interesting to achieve the good hype in crypto market. ^^ Dude. I didn't get anything you said there. How can the bear market continue when obviously the trend has been upwards for quite some time now. I'm sorry but i don't think you understand what you're talking about man. This current movement can't be attributed to the bear market anymore with even the quick correction gets turned around in a day. We've moved from 3k to 8k in under 3 months so the bears are done.

Hope is the last thing that can be lost. Nevertheless, bears really left the market. I guess the falls of the prices for some cryptocurrencies will be stopped very soon. They will climb to the top again.

I think we are back in a bull market. If it was a fakeout it would touch 6000 and go back to test the lows. A month ago this was given as the most probable scenario for bitcoin that would put us in a sideways pattern below 6000 dollars and indicate a bull market after finally breaking it. We did it in one go almost like when we passed 1000 dollars for the second time.

The bear market will definitely ends because when we see the development of the Bitcoin with say everything that cryptocurrency field much better than before that's why the Bull Run will only possible to come for long time.

It was not a slow process but a sudden one and it all happened in a range of 3-4 days the Bitcoin jumped to 8k dollar figure while Ethereum to 270 US dollar figure. But the prices have declined since two days the prices are stable at 7315 US dollar for Bitcoin while 236 US dollar for Ethereum. This stability after the decline does not mean that the coins will not increase again but we should stay calm and observe it.

Based on my observation and with my knowledge, Bitcoin has already broke the strong resistance which was actually the support from july to november 2018. With this case, we can already assume that the bear market is now over as we can't even see the strong dominance of bitcoin among the other coins anymore, and we can expect that this year's bitcoin's price will go into a new high in a month or two. Mark my word.

See this bullish market has been very much effective in attracting more investors in the crypto into the crypto market as a result of which the influx of money/credit in the crypto market has dramatically raised exponentially. So yes there occurs some good correction every time we see a surge in the market value of crypto.

With a market recovery like this the bear market is done for good, but we are not in the bull market yet, i am just wondering how the market will be next year after the halving and how long that rally would take us, it is exciting time for everyone involved in this market.

As you can also the 200MA acting now major support which is really good news for Bitcoin. Breaking above $6,000 is really significant for bitcoin since it will become the major support now.

Well this is a very real bull run. Those who think it is not a real bull run should not try to be part of the market for it will hurt them. See if you see a glass half filled with water and you say the glass is half empty, you are a pessimist but if you say it is half full, you are optimist. If what we experience isn't a bull run for you then what would you call it?
We have seen a great price increase on BTC and not just on BTC but also in other crypto and that should be a proof that we have entered the bull market.

Now we have went up and down it is important how we react from now on. Yeah, we had an increase to over 8 thousand and we dipped a bit back but the important part is to know how low can it get. Are we going to go back down a lot from now on? Or is this more like a resting period where bitcoin will rest a bit then go up again.

Bear market is already gone that is for sure but bull maybe just starting, think about it if bitcoin went up this much only to rest and gain more power and increase the same amount of percent once again it will be such a huge increase, it went up over 100% so that would mean over 15 thousand dollars easily.

We have to push back on crypto and try to not sell as long as we can, I know its hard sometimes but we have to at least give it a try.

This reversal can be called as a bull knowing where bitcoin came not just because of the last time high but considering the positive movements after this year, we are  waiting for much higher grounds before the halving, and with this continuous strong support we can call this now as a good bounce back to

News? May I please count the number of negative news that I have seen over the media this period and nine of them have been able to have any effect over the value of bitcoin? Most time we see any FUD news about bitcoin that is the time bitcoin usually increase in value.

I knew the market was already out of the bear market and that is why I quickly rushed into making serious investment at $5200, I had some funds before that I was using to trade and I never thought that we will be out of the bear market so soon, so I lost out of the $4000 trend, but from $5200 that I invested, I stopped trading and focus more on holding my coin for now. Although the bull run we have now might be a semi one, but this semi bull run alone will be more profitable than the last ATH by the end of the year.

There is going to be some incredible rise in the market value of Bitcoin in days to come. Have you guys not ever seen that technical analysis doesn’t really work in cryptocurrency trading like the way it is effective in forex trading, there are so many events out there that is contributing to the price direction of bitcoin and other markets that TA cannot capture.

When bitcoin started its bull run on April 1st, did TA not speculate downtrend for BTC back to $3800? Did TA not also speculate that bitcoin will not reach $6000 until the end of JUNE. SO why do we still look at TA instead of focusing more and looking out for fundamentals that are the real thing that is affecting the price of bitcoin.

Estimated prices can reach $ 10,000 but that may need to take the next few months, now the price of $ 7000- $ 8000 is realistic. maybe in the future it can reach prices above $ 10k and that can happen.

That is nice. I think feel the same about the market this time and am really looking forward to the halving and scenario beyond that. Bitcoin is in some good positive vibes and that being said, the price will go higher and higher. I do not think it will be up as high as it ATH back in 2017, in few months but definitely it is going to cross the boundaries of restriction.

It cannot be called a bull run as the cryptocurrencies do not show great visible signs of a pump. It is a stable slow growth, which is even better. Having it, we know that the chances of the next fall are decreasing.

If you read about the crypto market cycle, you would realize how often there is a fluctuation in the market values. The market being too volatile makes you loose and gain value in no time. The current bullish market has an average addition of value more than the loss in the value which makes it pretty profitable provided you have low cost of investment. You would understand this when you master the market cycle.

Yes the near market is over and the market is slowly going into bull. It has been going up since April with a little drawbacks along the way. People are looking forward to it breaking the next resistance level and reaching $10,000 .some people has been predicting this month but I don't think that is going to be so,  I'm looking forward to that happening in the next month.

The market has really done well this month today it has gotten back to $8000+ and is going up since today. I have plans to Hodl till November or December to see if the price will reach another all time high. I have been analysts playing with numbers in what it is going to be, I have even seen some calling numbers that are impossible to reach now,  some are saying it will reach $100,000 (¬_¬)

The next target after reaching the $8900 is the unforgettabls $10,000  most people in cryptoworld want to see again this price even me I want Bitcoin go back to this level if you follow then price movement of Bitcoin from $4k up to $5k then now $8000 so we cannot say we already in bull run and the bear market are already over.

So because there has been little correction this period, we have all started denying again that it is not bull run when we all were over the internet and singing bull run when the rice was surging from $5k to $8k within 2 months.

Anyway, I still want to believe that we are in the bull trend already, but the full bull is what we are yet to experience, I guess we are all waiting for the type that happened in 2016 that made bitcoin run uptrend fully for a 7 consecutive weeks, I dint see that happening this year, but I know that this semi bull run we have will take us till when we see the bigger bull.

All are still speculations. Even experts make mistakes and anything like crashing again, can still happen in the market but I believe we are now in the bull market and any lows or crashing are in now bull's low.

The current market price have it shows that we are finally leaving the bear season and we are actually facing into  bull run. It is not a question if we are having a big crash again cause it possibly to happens again, in fact, it happens several times after bull run. That is the reality about crypto and only we have to do is to prepare anything that will happen in the future. in my opinion bearish trend is over now.and if we see price goes down i think  it just temporary correction.and no need to worry about it.with bitcoin price above $8k,we will see $10k in near future.

That's also I believe that this month the bull run started. In the month of April since the bitcoin started increased I think it is only 50 chance but since I saw a lot of different changes to the value to the bitcoin which is increasing now Im sure we are in bull market.

Of course it has been a bullish market since long. We are far and long out of the bear market for the current market has been very bullish and the gain in the market value of Bitcoin and other coins has been pretty good. Do not you see the rate of speculation and trading crypto in the market? I have seen many people in my friend circle who are putting in money in Bitcoin for the first time.

The spec of investors that we have now are those that are much interested in holding their coins till the bull run, which is why we keep seeing many of them speculating here and there in favor of bitcoin in other to encourage other investors in their own little way.

I think it's over now. I was waiting to see Bitcoin overcome the 8K USD mark, and it did! Bitcoin went to 9K USD and it seems Bitcoin price is becoming stable at 8500 USD to 9K! In 2017, when Bitcoin overcame 10K USD, everyone was sure that Bitcoin will go further and Now I feel the same, Bitcoin just crossed 9K, and anytime it can go 10K higher. So, we may hope for a good bullish run!

Bullish run seems really on. If you look on coinmarketcap daily volumes ( this really matters) you see that from 70 billion in 24 hours, we are now around 84 billions and when this amount growth, it means there are more exchangers and investors. If this number will pass 100 in 24 hours, this would make a further growth....

People cannot even dare to believe that bears have left the market. It was a very long period when the market was down, therefore, we are still hesitating is the situation has changed. It seems that bulls are here.

Ofcourse people were sick of the long period of down market but situations are now better and progressing in the right direction. Bear market can return again but we don’t know what will happen what if the price starts growing much more so you must be considering FOMO factor then. You will then think of the fear of missing out to get the coins on low price, the current price can be a low one for you.

LOL, are your friends beginning to FOMO, it’s a good one though at this point because the bull run is still very early and they will still have enough profit to go with at the end of the new ATH. This stage is still quite a good stage for accumulation and even the whales have not stop accumulating too, anything after $10k, the price will already start becoming too higher for an ordinary investor and people that we will find in the market then who will further push the price upward are financial institutions and large firm, so before the value gets to $10k, I think it is wise to buy now and hold till we get the desirable profit.

I don't think the bear market is over. Anytime the crypto market can fall again! We are just passing some good times! Though the Bitcoin price chart saying BTC price can overcome 9.5 to 10K USD, and If it happens then the real bull market really will come. From the 9.1K to 8.4K USD, within a week, the Bitcoin price has decreased enough, now the price will start growing again! Personally, BTC at 10K USD will be the bull run for me!

and when it happens, we might go pass the 20,000usd price tag as against the 2018 bull run. the bulls are back indeed.

Absolutely, the price movement of Bitcoin and Ethereum indicates that it is bullish now days in the crypto market but it is not a complete bull market. So we should have serious decisions about investment and then starting to trade with them. It will have a great impact on the outcome of your efforts only if you monitor price and then act accordingly will have great results in the end.

Seems you are still among the people that believe bear market is not over yet, because I don’t see reason why you should not see the current market situation as bull situation, and I guess it’s simply because you are not experiencing that continues increase in the price of bitcoin nonstop.

Ok, if I may ask, what if bitcoin value continues to increase this way we have seen, I mean slow and steady increase and it reaches $20k without that sudden long pump, would you still consider calling that it bear market at that point? So I think the bear market is completely gone, and this slow and steady move is the path we will follow to reach our ATH.

We surely have our own opinion, but if you are still bearish, that shows you don't trust the market to rise again.
Last year was the bear market, it will not again step in this year, that's what I really believe.

as a trader you should already know that bulls and bears (despite popular belief) are not different people. they are the same traders. if someone is only a bull or only a bear then they are big newbies in trading market because as a successful trader you should always change your direction with the direction of the market meaning when there is a bull run, you should be a bull and when there is a bear run you should be a bear.
time for being a bear has been over for half a year now just like time for being a bull ended at the beginning of 2018. and anybody who gets stuck in a trend that ended long ago is begging for a big loss.

Of course it is a volatile market and there could be loss of value anytime in the race but I think that it does not mean if there is a bull run, there will be constant rise in the market value of the coins and no fall. There are small falls and high gains which is what describes this existing market and I am damn sure that if you are part of the market, you are going to make the money.

Bear market is over but we still have some baby bears in the market, and I really don’t know what we can do to kill them off so we can have a breathing space for full blown bull run. Do you know the people I am referring to as baby bears? They are profit takers,it annoys me so much that they keep dragging the market backward every time bitcoin tries taking a step further.

See us finding it hard again now to climb the $9k mountain simply because these profit takers are dragging the priceback, so I don’t think the bear is off completely until these ones are out of the market, if they were taking profit to return back to investment, it would have been ok, but some of them takes profit and leaves completely leaving the value to increase through new investors.

Yes, most of the people are expecting we are in bull phase but we shouldn't come conclusion because still, the market is not completely upward trend. Of course, price is increasing and it is not a clear indication of the bull run.

Our market is at a very good stage and the volume is increasing sharply after every day. I believe that in the near future, the BTC will pass $ 8k5 again and we will see strong growth from that time.
Q3 is having price adjustment but don't be afraid. I'm seeing a lot of traders who are scared, go against them.
