As Binance failed to prove it is safest exchange also there is less features compare to Kucoin . Kucoin gives revenue sharing for KCS token in exchange more over its also having IEO and other option compare to Binance Kucoin giving more option . What you guys think about binance alternative??

I talked about something similar with someone on this forum just recently. I have been using the Kucoin exchange for a long time and consider it one of the best.

There's no safest exchange dude. What happened to binance can happen to any exchange even the one you consider safest. Kucoin is a good exchange also but that doesn't mean it can't still be hacked just like binance was.

from the beginning there was no truly secure centralized exchange. binance is only an exchange that has good quality. but for security issues we should not trust fully. but even so,  binance is responsible and replacing lost funds. I think that's enough, and we can forget about that.

remember using another exchange is not the time for our funds to be safer. Coins may be good but I prefer binance, so I will still use it.

I do agree with you and kucoin is also good exchange but the main reason why traders will stick to binance is the fact the binance exchange has the highest liquidity and volume that makes it the number one choice for traders.

I like both Binance and KuCoin. KuCoin offers coins Binance does not, but I think the hack Binance fell victim to can happen at any exchange. Sooner or later KuCoin is likely to become a victim as well.

Kucoin is by far one of the safest and securest exchanges that haven't been hacked. It's time-tested and words very well. It has many altcoins added, so KCS can become big in the next bull, which is already started. Kucoin is a reliable choice. Well, Binance was hacked, though they replenish all lost funds, so no big deal for users.

You can say that until the day that exchange is hacked.  I believe all exchange are susceptible to hacking, meaning there is no safe exchange platform in the internet space.  We better keep our stuff in our own stash and use only exchanges if we want to trade.  I am a user of Kucoin myself but I never use it as bank to store my tokens and coins.

I personally love Kucoin but on the other hand like all exchanges, we don't know how secure it is. We thought binance was secure and look at what happened.

Kucoin is one of the reputed exchanges nowadays. I have been using it for a year now and didnt encounter any problem. So if you're looking for an alternative then you can consider choosing it.

The hacking incident that happened in binance proves that even the reputed exchanges are not really safe despite of their high securities (although all went well because they refill the amount hacked). It would be better to put only your coins to an exchange if you're ready to trade it.

Kucoin is also a good exchange platform, I knew that after the hack everyone will strive to look for a safer place. Some would actually choose to hop in to kucoin and on their part, it's an advantage because they are probably aware that they are the 2nd choice.

So you forgot about Binance launchpad? Just because once it happened, doesn't mean always will or all other like KuKoin won't be targeted. Binance users haven't lost anything since Binance promises to cover all the losses from their storage. Well, Kucoin doing great with KCS sharing model, but I think if you compare trade volume and bot trading ability, Binance is far ahead of any other exchanges let alone Kucoin.

With the recent hack of Binance, this can be the best opportunity for Kucoin to push their wares and expand its market share. They can come up with a good marketing campaign promoting their platform to be safer and more user-friendly than Binance. I actually find Kucoin to be at the same level as Binance in terms of offering good services to their users...and I am both using these two exchanges. Let's see if this development can be a big advantage to Kucoin and if the market will treat Kucoin to the best alternative to Binance.

I don't think there is a safe exchange place, everything will definitely be a place of exchange that hackers can break down, but I read binance already anticipating it by using insurance funds from Safu. so this is a very good step from binance that will not make the members lose their assets.

alternative exchange other than binance maybe huobi, okex, or bittrex. this is the exchange that I use other than binance. for Kucoin I only use it occasionally, not for the main. Kucoin may be good, but I don't really like this exchange, it's better to still use binance than Kucoin. even though there are currently security problems.

You can as long as you want to look for a safe exchange, but among those exchanges that are now there you will not find a stock exchange that can not hack or that which has gone hack will cover your losses. I do not trust any stock exchange. All of them are centralized and none of them has any legal responsibility if something happens. keep your money on cold wallets

Since that incident I began to hesitate with their exchange but not with the koi, if you think that Kucoin are better than that maybe because you are a user who has long been a part of it, if that is true maybe next time I will try using Kucoin.

There is totally no safe exchange and its only a matter of time before each and everyone of them will have their own security being compromised. I might say that the idea that Kucoin would be an alternative to Binance would be dangerous yet I have to admit that Kucoin has its own set of strengths but liquidity wise I have to go Binance since some exchanges that have been hacked had already faltered or having a hard time recovering and this is simply not the case for Binance. Imho.

Binance has contributed their quota to the cryptocurrency community and they have been well coordinated until this recent hack case, Kucoin is good, agree but it wasn't Binance fault that they were hacked and more so, they have assured investors that the loss will be covered from the backup fund which is something to be proud off.  Anyone can be a victim of hackers.

People are trying to make it seem as if binance is not a good exchange and using the opportunity to make advertisements for other exchange. It’s best to know firstly that no exchange is safe, lock your coins where you have control over it and not where other people have control over it. Also no other exchange has the trading volume that binance has. But anyone no harm in trying others out.

For now there is nothing compromise with the binance exchange they will come better with their security features.

Kucoin is also one of the good exchange but I don't think it will be an alternative to binance at the moment.

Got right,  anyone could be a target and never says who will be next.  Maybe other known exchanges will be their next stop.  Yes,  Kucoin did right, in fact, I used this exchanges before and there is no problem. Kucoin WI have their teams helping to have a stabilize market volume and it may affected with the current issues by the other exchanges, could be in favor to them.

After what happened to binance, some will lose their trust on their platform but I think a lot of people will still stay. I'm not going to say that binance will lose it's rank as a top exchange site. But I think it is still on par with KuCoin. No one knows, maybe another huge exchange site is going to get hacked and there is still a possibility that it could be KuCoin. So I think choosing KuCoin or switching to KuCoin will depend on you.

As far as am concern, there is no any cryptocurrency exchange that is 100% secure and this is the one of the reason why it is very important for one to alway store his assets in a place that's he is the only one that has access to its private key. Another thing is that all these exchanges are not insured and this is very bad to hear seeing the huge money they are making.

Why not ? I think Kucoin is quite a good alternative to binance, as they have almost the same functionality and good reputation. The most important difference is a different set of traded altcoins. If it is not important for you to be able to trade all altcoins that binance have, then it may have a sense for you to start trading on Kucoin

I also use Kucoin for longer time and always i have the coin stored safe their, not so much coins, and even when i have a problem support resolved, i sent in past a coin which has been forked at that time and when i sent it was dissappear from blockchain and after they solved and i got it.

Yes I think kucoin is a great choice now to be sincere. With its daily revenue sharing you can earn income daily. I am beginning to buy it's token slowly and holding them.

Kucoin is one of my choice when it comes to exchange, they have a good security.  If you are hesitant to use Binance, I think Kucoin is a good alternative choice.  Though we can't say that Kucoin can't be hacked, but I think they will improve their security further after the news of Binance hacking incident.

Kucoin is very good to use but is obvious people still not seeing the reason why Binance is one of the trusted exchanges worldwide. Binance as promised to return all stolen funds back in no time and nobody will be affected atall, for me nothing more is expected from Binance as will all know this can also happen to any other exchange.

Almost all the exchanges which have been best at a certain point of time have been compromised in one way at a time.
Hackers target exchanges which are best so that they can hack a bigger amount. So if Binance is hacked now and if people move to Kucoin then the next target for the hackers will be Kucoin.
So then what's the point of choosing Kucoin. As crypto enthusiasts we must know that storing large amount of crypto is a potential risk for us.
Instead of moving from exchange to exchange it's better if we start storing the coins on our wallets and only trade on exchanges when it is absolutely needed.

Kucoin exchange is an interesting exchange, I personally like its functionality. It has a good level of security, a large selection of cryptocurrencies, a small commission and bonuses for KCS holders. It can be considered as an alternative.

Liquidity on the kucoin is lower than that of binance. Seriously by a huge margin. It is definately a bad platform if you are looking at day trading.
They have also started to list more and more number of shitcoins. It is definately bad for them in the long run.

Kucoin don't have good liquidity. It is not a bad exchange, but the trading volume is too low. If you only trade for a few dollars it is okay. Else, other exchanges are better.

Yes, "Kucoin" can be a way to exchange other alternatives because in my opinion Kucoin is very safe for me with complete features, but Binance also has to deal with the hack so it cannot be hacked again but Binance will still be the best to exchange

Perhaps this will not be a bad decision, because after such a serious incident with Binance, many traders and investors will stop using Binance. But I do not think that Kucoin will also guarantee 100% security.

Kucoin is good and for some time now, it has proved to be an exchange to reckon with per excellent. However, hacking does not respect all that and they can be the next victim. The best alternative to binance is the idea of never keep your investment or crypto assets on any exchange, simple.

I do not see any reason to jump into an exchange that mimics Binance in all ramifications, from marketing to product offerings and operability. Plus, no exchange is unhackable. It is their ability to provide cover issuance to members against loss of funds that separates them all

On point! If we do just base on volume then theres no doubt that Binance do really have it but i doubt if they would able to retain such thing nowadays yet they do
already have that security issue and for sure that trust would really be mainly affected.Some may jump out but for sure there are people who would retain. No exchangers

Kucoin is great and I'm currently trading for my Telcoin tokens. And I would say it's a great exchange and one of the safest. Despite what happened to Binance it is still preferred by many traders and many are aware that it's not solely fault by Binance but the user's itself. Some users got their account compromised and the hackers withdraw all the funds and it showed some flaws in Binance withdrawal system. And never leave your assets in any exchanges.

I think Kucoin will exist as long as the exchange is still active and after that, who knows what will happen TBH.

You need to keep in mind that only about 2% of all funds were taken away from Binance hot wallet, most of funds are safe and those users who lost their funds will be reimbursed.

Nope, i still trust binance. I know binance just got hacked a few day ago but at least they have responsible and not run. Kucoin have way better security tools. You will have 2 different accounts on that exchange. Trade balance and overall asset. If you want to transfer from ome to another, you will be required to give an 6 digits pincode. I guess it's a good way to avoid any kind of issue like this. Kucoin is a rapidly growing exchange and I think they will soon be on the top of all.

Yes, binance did failed to secure the information of their user causing loss to the exchange and hassles for the users.
But dumping binance completely and moving to another exchange is not a solution.
Traders should diversify their trade and be involved in a number of exchanges to secure their investments.

You can guarantee that binance doesn't slack when it comes to security, it just happens that the hacker is extremely skilled and has enough patience to execute his/her plan. With that said, Kucoin, like any other exchange will have some kind of security flaw that would only be revealed if it caught the attention of a skilled hacker. It really doesn't matter what you choose to use.

There is no exchange that is safe in this market and it can be attacked at any time if there is a major flaw from the development team of that exchange. I think raising security is necessary and we need to have insurance when participating in exchanges. I personally choose Binance as the top exchange because they have very good policies for investors. Also Kucoin is only my fourth choice because there are still many other exchanges better than Kucoin

As like I mentioned above, Kucoin is putting much effort to ensure better security for their customers whoch is why they have introduced several features on their Kucoin Version 2.0, I guess they will be huge in future.

Kucoin is good, this exchange can be an alternative to binance. but I prefer exchange Okex or Bittrex. they have almost the same quality as binance. Kucoin maybe good, but last year I got negative rumors about the exchange so I was more aware of it. so I rarely use it. I'm afraid this can be the same fate as binance.

It's a good alternative, I am using Kucoin platform and I have not encountered any problem, they do give a share of their revenue, and that's really great, but about security, so far there has been no hacking incident, but they are very slow to add new coins, there are only a handful coins in their platform.

For me in my opinion all exchange are not safe, they have all risk once you get use their platform site. Meaning, this will depend on your belief and trust in the exchange dude. Since that We heard a bad news about in binance, it became an advantage to other exchange site to make other traders transfer their coins into KCS, and besides kucoin for me is one of the good exchange platform to be use too.

The problem is exchanges storing the funds.
Hackers would always find out some flaws to exploit for stealing the stored funds and the solution is not to store users coin by an exchange at all.
Though it may be a bit a time consuming process, the exchange should only match trades and just transfer it between user's cold wallet without storing anything on itself.

Coins and binance are not much different, both coin exchangers, the difference is the price and function.
the rest is not much different.
but if I have to choose which one is good, I choose KCS which is still cheap and holds it for future investment.

Kucoin is a good exchange, i like it but it don't have such volume like Binance have. It is a good thing Kucoin was not hacked yet, but unfortunately we know every exchange can be hacked. I hope Kucoin will become attractive alternatives, but for now Binance is still most large and powerful exchange in spite of hacking.

Kucoin is one of my favourite alternative exchanges and I love there service but leaving binance for kucoin doesn't make any sense ,binance is just better ,just view it like this and ask yourself what if the stolen 7000btc was stolen from kucoin what do you think will happen to kucoin now?

I've been trading on Kucoin And I must say that I'm impressed with their security. This doesn't mean it's better than Binance in all ramifications though. I also like the dividends I get from holding KCS even though the price is shitty right now. Kucoin recently added a FIAT gateway with VISA and that's a plus.

well kucoin is a good exchange, but how can you be sure that kucoin is more safest than binance?, It's proven that no matter how hard your security hackers can hack the exchange.

all exchanger could be hacked anytime, so i think it depend on who is more smarters, the IT team of exchanger, or the hacker.
So the binance case can be a lesson for other exchanger to give more extra protection on their system.

Agree, kucoin is a great exchange, the daily transaction volume above $ 30 million is certainly a good potential so I also invest Kucoin Shares as much as I can.

Lol, what guarantee do you have that kucoin won't have same experience, just because the hackers haven't focus on kucoin yet doesn't mean they won't do it one day, and maybe this time they are going to do something even worse than what we see in binance, my advice to everyone in the crypto space is for them to be very careful with centralized exchanges and make sure not to leave their coins on this exchange for any reason because they might end up losing their funds to an hacker already working on stealing funds.

Haha, I laughedlike a billionaire, for the fact that Binance is facing challenges doesn’t mean you should take advantage of that, and play on people’s intelligence, if the project you are showing us has a competitive product, how come we have not been hearing of their name like Bittrex as competitors of Binance, what product does kucoin has that will make it take the position of Binance.

Before kucoin does more than its power, they first need to break barriers like Bittrex and many more that has strong products to contend with Binance. IT would have been better you use another method to really announce kucoin and not using the situation of Binance.

Kucoin and binance have almost similar features to offer and they are always competing in the market ever since their inception. But I do not understand why Kucoin coin could not rise as much as BNB does. It maybe because of the Binance exchange which got popularity within a short span of time. Now the exchange has been affected to some level by the hacking. I think Kucoin may take benefit of it.

There is no safe place in crypto exchanges. Whether kucoin or binance, there is still possible that hackers will gonna enter such an exchange. So I suggest that we shouldn't leave huge fund in any exchange particularly btc or eth coins for us to be at ease in case of unnecessary acts. Anyway, since you suggested kucoin exchange. I think I will try to use kucoin jusy for a try.

I guess the hacking period has ended and it has been handled well by the binance team. so there's no problem with that

Kucoin is very good and I can really testify to that, but that doesn’t mean they can take position of Binance, the issue Binance had was just a security issue and that is a technical issue that will be resolved.

They have not really soiled their hand or reduce in their activeness for us to abandon them for that reason, and the platform they have built to perfection is still as perfect as it used to be, which I don’t think they will be crashing for everyone to shift attention to kucoin.

Let kucoin just continue with the good services they are rendering and when the time comes, they will gain their own respect and recognition.

IMO, there's no 100% secure exchange. what already happen to Binance can also happen to another exchanges (including Kucoin). Just how do we choose which one we think is safe (although not 100%) also how their accountability (the exchange) if things happen that are not desirable (hacking, etc.)

KuCoin is the one of the best exchange, but unfortunatly, My account was hacked cuase I left my data on my office, not much money there but hopefully they can process my account.

You will only be able to compare Binance and KuCoin when both of them have ever been in the same condition. Just because Binance failed to be the safest place for crypto traders doesn't mean KuCoin is a safer place. We don't know yet what KuCoin team will do when hack issue comes to them. The decision that Binance team has taken was right and that's why the issue has no impact to Bitcoin and other crypto price.

Too many IEO is not really good, it could give more shitcoins on exchange. It also means that the exchange is unpopular and not really interesting and that's why he conducted more and more IEO on order to attract new users.

KuCoin can be alternative anyway, but there was also a lot of issues like funds missing from user's account. Why don't we choose other exchange like Huobi and OKEx?

I think you can restore your account by using the Forgot Password feature, but if the email registered on kucoin is also lost and cannot be returned then it is certain that your account is difficult to restore and most likely all the assets you have have been drained by a thief because he can access your email to verify the withdrawal of assets you have.

If people move to kucoin, that issue will be solved.  Though I do think that it is not advisable to use kucoin alone since there are tokens that is not listed on that exchange but listed on Binance.  So the  decision still depends on the token we are holding.

Kucoin is lower liquidity exchange than Binance but there are tokens which you can buy only on Kucoin (more speculative) and that's why I love Kucoin :)

Kucoin is like Poloniex but there is a difference. Kucoin has a smaller volume and some altcoins that only tradable there. Due to the small volume, I hesitate to contijue trading on Kucoin. Kucoin and alike exchanges don't satisfy my trading techniques. Binance and Liquid are more valid for my trading style.

According to coinmarketap, Kucoin is the 69th biggest crypto exchange. There are still 68 much biggger cryptocurrency exchange that have bigger chance to rival with Binance.

I really like both desktop and app of Kucoin's platform 2.0, they are very user friendly.

Who knows which exchange is next to be hacked. No one knows if it is the Kucoin that so many people talk about.
The best we can do to help ourselves and to avoid unnecessary mishaps, is to not store our funds on exchange.

I had such thoughts, to visit the cook, but for the time being I don’t risk anything. It seems that the exchange gives good hopes, does not lag behind the main market leaders, but something is holding me back. By the way, IEO on their platform is really worth the attention.

You can't say that kucoin is better after a single incident, it was 2% of the total BTC volume which was hacked and they managed to trace the theft and also credited users their lost amount through SAFU fund. Kucoin is not even close to Binance in any aspect, i will still trust Binance and appreciate their services.

why not, good coin in my opinion. Coins become one of the exchanges that I use besides Binance, and OKEx. He is also quite safe, but I suggest that you don't keep coins there. because all these exchanges are truly safe. so always be careful and stay alert, don't trust the system too much.

I have been using this exchange for a long time. I think that Kucoin is a good exchange and can be trusted. Support for this exchange works well and they can help to quickly solve the problem.

As you know Binance is No.1 exchange of the world and kucoin is less ranking ,kucoin is better but volume is low than Binance , i hope Binance will increase their security after this hack .

Kucoin is a good exchange with good support and some time ago i saw an article where Kucoin was in the first place which has the best Opportunites for the future it will make big grow in coming years i am sure if i had enough money would buy some Kucoinshares.

As you know, Binance is the best exchange platform in my opinion. I know Kucoin is a good exchange platform but can never overtake Binance and the volume is low as compared with Binance.

I don't think looking for another exchange as an alternative to Binance is the solution with the problem here. It is only a matter of time for Kucoin to experience the same situation. Every exchange is vulnerable to hacking scenario. So, I still prefer BNB to trade my coins as they can show to their customers that even if they lost that huge amount of money, they can replace it in no time. It is just a dent of their operations and it will not make them bankrupt in any way. They can protect the interest of their customers, there's no doubt about that.

Kucoin is one of the Exchanges that when I started in this world, I was able to do some transactions there, especially with some currencies of some projects that I had followed, however, if there were some problems, such as updating the volume capitalization in the market, many times the options for withdrawals were disabled, and I had to wait like 3 days to be able to do it, however, they are acceptable problems and they are understood when an Exchange is started, I believe that it can be considered level 1 when the volume increases consierably , having good volume we can say that the Exchange is growing.

Also keep in mind that Kucoin opens the doors to certain tokens, sto, ieo, which does not seem bad, because volume is generated, however I would like Kucoin to place in each position that the Stop Loss option is opened and Take Profit simultaneously, this is a great attraction for traders, and market speculators would be like paradise, if this happens the volume and attraction to Kucoin will increase considerably.

Although Kucoin is a relatively recent arrival in the world of cryptocurrency exchanges, it has been in the works for years, At the moment, the options for trading pairs are somewhat limited, but they cover all of the most common cryptocurrencies plus the fact that they are quick to list new coins early ( taking an example from Binance ) I think is a better option to binance.

I am not a supporter of Binance, but it seems that every exchange is still vulnerable to borders, for Kucoin as long as I use the market since 2017, I have not encountered hacking news, but maybe if there is a slight gap the fate will be the same as other exchanges. the difference is probably the amount of funds hacked is very little (maybe)

No exchange can not be completely safe because it is a computer product and it is made by people. I think that the Binance administration is connected with the loss of 7000 bitcoins. In my opinion Bittrex is one of the big exchange and yes it's better than kucoin but below Binance. Kucoin is good and can become popular in the future imo but to take over binance is still far far away. Even big exchange like Bittrex can't beat binance. Sorry but there are so many alternative that better than kucoin.

I think Kucoin is also the best coin for investment. Kucoin shares is performing very well in the market. The coin is issued by the leading crypto exchange, KuCoin exchange and the coin is much trusted for investment because of this. Both Kucoin shares and binance coin have almost similar feature and service to offer. However, the recent hack of binance coin may affect.

In terms of popularity, KUCOIN is not as good as Binance. But from the service, the experience is also very good. I think KUCOIN will get better and better. I have accounts on both exchanges. I look forward to their two services being more perfect.

Kucoin sounds like a good alternative to diversify exchanges. Too much dominance is never a good thing, it's like bitmain destroying the bitcoin market when they supported the bitcoin cash fork. Kucoin 2.0 is a great exchange, i'd recommend  using both for future trades

I'm sure someday Kucoin can be like Binance, I also made Kucoin for a long-term and alternative investment if I find it difficult to find potentially profitable coins or tokens.

There are so many exchanges alternative in Binance if you really want to move for good (Bitmax, huobi, Kucoin, Bitforex, Okex). But I will stay in Binance, they have safu funds to compensate for all the stolen funds and even though Binance got hacked its just like nothing happens because of CZ's assurance  he gives to all his supporters.

Binance is fine! they pretty responsible with their mistake, and they always stay cool to handling  such thing like that. they promise will fix this issue within a week from 8 Mei CZ_Binance already said this on his video live stream on twitter.

yeah there is alot of exchanger alternative in binance and for me kucoin is one of the best, i only sell and trade my funds in kucoin ever since, service is very good so smooth and also very safe for hackers,there is no history that kucoin get hack (correct me of im wrong).

This is beginning to make me have doubts over the security of exchanges, most especially centralized exchanges.
The only way out as of not, is for the exchanges to get registered with insurance companies and for users to always save larger part of their funds in their private wallets.

There is no guarantee that other exchange than binance won't be hacked.
But if binance keep improving the security of their system, will it be more secure than before ?
If it will be more secure, then we can use it without using other exchange.

What I'm seeing is that Binance increased its volume, while Kucoin's volume decreased, if we will leave Binance, we should not leave for Kucoin, should be with a higher volume exchange that can compete with Binance.

Kucoin was touted to be the challenger to Binance however, we haven't seen it getting close to what has Binance reached so far.

Kucoin is the best coin which has been doing its best to win the hearts of the traders. But comparing the two coins--binance and kucoin--may not be relevant. I know the market is free and competitive. The two coins have different features and are operating independently. Both of them are more capable to operate independently. It is right that the two coins have somehow similar features. But it does a coin should go down for another one to rise. However, the hacking of binance exchange may affect BNB.

This is actually very true. What happened to an  exchange like Binance can form a basis for argument but using It as an overall assessment  of it is not looking too good. Now the Kucoin that is being suggested can not really boast of freedom  from hacking. Only that some few ones are trying all they can

I'm sure sooner or later the Shares Coins can follow Huobi and Binance's performance, so buying when it's cheap like now is a very good and profitable thing.

Kucoin is good for me because we all know that it gives us a good and trusted service but what I like in binance is the friendly user interface of them that makes them popular and they are very transparent in their traders. Binance just having a little difficulty by now but for sure in the future they will have better and secured exchange.

So you overlooked Binance launchpad? Because once it occurred, doesn't mean dependably will or all other like KuKoin won't be focused on. Binance clients haven't lost anything since Binance guarantees to cover every one of the misfortunes from their capacity. I do not urge everyone to use KuCoin, but as a user of this exchange I want to say that this is really a reliable platform for traders and cryptocurrency holders. But we should not forget that markets are not suitable for the secure storage of cryptocurrency, prefer desktop wallets and hardware wallets.

I do not think that we should rush to conclusions about Binance, I think that such a large exchange will draw conclusions and eliminate all security problems. But as an alternative, KuCoin is a good option in my opinion. And yet it is another signal that it is time for exchanges to move to decentralization and absolutely safe exchanges do not exist.

Why not, probably the best choice for alternatives, I never read that it was hacked, security is very tight, in fact, I have a hard time login in, the first time, and if you are a big trader you can make an extra profit, by trading here because of their profit sharing plan.

This is a pretty good exchange and the conditions that they offer the owners of their coins are good. I think this exchange and their token will also show themselves quite well in the next bullish race.

The number of solid project with good volume are being listed on Binance,,  even when you talked about IEO Binance still leads in as much as you can get in before it gets listed on exchange,  no exchange is safe from hacking,  including Kucoin,  for the fact that Kucoin hasn't been hacked twice a year doesn't mean that it's safe,  so still stick with Binance or better still both exchanges

Kucoin is good exchange but Binance will recover the brand name and Binane is no.1 exchange of the world and will always remain no.1, kucoin volume is low .

Kucoin is my second beloved centralised exchange after Binance. Definitely one of the most user friendly exchanges that I have used. But I thought nothing happened with Binance,  because all the loses are going to be recovered.

I think many good alternative beside binance and i think kucoin is good exchanger. Kucoin have good security and good UI, but daily transaction volume not bigger than binance. I am using kucoin and i am satisfied with their platform but i think binance still better

Everyone of us has different perspective on what exchange we choose. But we should also consider that each exchange has their own cons and flaws on how to run their site. Maybe kucoin is good at something but binance exchange has their own way on how to please their clients.

at present, the coin platform is more user friendly compared to the old version. besides that inferface trading is easier to use for beginner and advanced users. However, it is very unfortunate even though there are many useful fictions that can help cryptocurrency traders and benefits offered to users but their high cross trade is still small because of certain problems.

AFAIR, it was during the year 2017 when these two are competing in volume, but in 2018 Kucoin fall while Binance were able to stay stable.

Why do you think that other exchanges will not be the same? Every exchange can cheat its community. I think that this is no reason to leave the exchange Binance. Since Binance has a very competent administration and a convenient product.

no system are safe, even though binance is reported hacked they can replace the stolen funds and I'm sure their security will be better than before.

Binance has been hacked but they handled it like a real professional as they are, so it just makes the traders of that exchange more confident because binance have the backup funds to coverup what had been lost so nothing to worry about, tho kucoin is a good exchange for real but I don't think it will takeover the binance lead.

I agree and traders like this but Kucoin can also create high liquidity if they focus on full marketing and getting more coins in their platform, I like their profit sharing, I don't know if all the investors know that they can partake of the profit from Kucoin platform, Kucoin should be on top of the market, because of their security and profit sharing scheme.

This is not the time to prove the greatness of the security features on the exchange because what happened to Binance can also occur in other exchanges. Therefore, each exchange must learn to overcome hacking from Binance so that such hacking does not occur again in other exchanges. I see that Binance's approach always makes exchange by learning, from selling token exchange, IEO, ... Kucoin is also a exchange with UX and UI well. However, the volume on it is quite low and not ideal as Binance

I also prefer kukoin more than binance, because binance lists new tokens only for money, and their CEO is not a trusted person imo.

I was shocked to hear that the binance exchange had been broken and more than 7000BTC was lost. I began to think after that incident, to move to another place. If you say they are connected to the loss, you are indirectly insinuating that Binance stole the fund from their wallet. I don’t see why they would do so to jeopardize their reputation, they make more than that and what they would gain since they are going to still refund the money.

Moreover the only person that can do that would be the person hired to constantly be ensuring that the system is secured, so If anyone would hack the system, it would be the software engineer in charge which they would have easily known, but I guess the hacking was just as a result of the carelessness of the user they stole from.

I’ve used  Kucoin quite a few times as they quite often support the cryptocurrency that I am looking to buy or sell! My experience has always been positive and both deposits and withdrawals have been really quick and simple. I also like how you can access the markets through the Kucoin app! Anyway, I think it's still a better option to binance.

We’ve all known Binance to be one of the biggest, and if it can get hacked then KuCoin can likely face the same problem, unless they will learn from what has happened to Binance and try to tighten their security up. There are other good exchnages as well, and that includes the Coinbasethat we all know about. Coinbase is also safe and they offer a wallet apart from being an exchange and all other stuffs. If you talk about security, I will even prefer Coinbase. But the thing is, stop keeping your money in exchanges, except the ones you are trading with, in case such things happen. Nobody was expecting it to happen Binance, that’s the least I ever expected, but it still happened. So play your game wisely.

kucoin too has a very great exchange and facilities, but to get the kind of volume Binance have that will make them meet up with Binance standard will really take a very long time and except Binance dies, which I don’t think anything can ever bring Binance down again, if the hacking FUD could not do any damage, what will ever do damage to them again?

Whenever something bad happens with an exchange automatically rest of the available exchanges try to show them good to the cryptocurrency users and grab them towards their services. Kucoin is a good exchange, but compared to Binance it is a low volume exchange with good trading access. Importantly quite often it gives access for free trading without any fee to get more users.

I used to buy about 2 years and continued to buy Kucoin shares, now is the right time to buy because I'm sure Kucoinn will be like Binance, so buying now is a good way.

I think there are a huge number of alternative exchanges, but none of the centralized exchanges can guarantee you the safety of your coins. If you want security, do not store cryptocurrency on the exchange or use the DEX platform.

I don't think any exchange can guarantee 100% security, a lot of trust has been placed on binance and at the end it security was breached, the same thing can happen to kucoin.

The truth is that Kucoin is also not the safest exchange and no exchange can come out to boost that its the safest in the crypto world. Its true that binance got hacked recently but mere looking for alternative is like a mirage because no exchange is safe from hack.

Any exchange can be hack I still choose binance to store my funds because it has a safu even if they got hack they can easily restore the funds of each user and still binance operates like there is nothing happen for now they are on maintenace I hope they upgrade their system to prevent that kind of scenario of hacking but most of the traders are just calm even if the exchange git hack.

Everything never guarantees safe, even we keep crypto in the offline wallet also does not guarantee safe, the most important thing is that they always update regularly so that when hit by hack the customer data is not lost.

There are always an instances that these exchange is falling and breached by those who have their fraudulent minds, but what is important is that, how fast they can regain their reputation and that what matters the most on an exchange.

A lot of fud has happened in the past time. However, Binance has been able to fix the problem by himself and not let it affect the user, which is what we should feel as a good exchange.

SAFU funds are used for recovering the consequences of the hack. It doesn't mean same thing that they will do the same things over and over again if the same hackers came back again.

it is true that binance was attacked by hackers, but because they are quite professional, they show responsibility to their users. however it all depends on our choice. we just need to think that nothing is safe on the internet.

Kucoin may not be the safest, but this exchange was never been hack yet, therefore, even Binance is the biggest but they have weak system as they have been hacked once and those confidential information particularly the KYC information has been leaked lately.

All centralized exchanges aren't secured, that's the truth and Binance hack proved it. Also, what happened to Binance didn't in any slowed down or killed the exchange as seen in others, that is to show how solid the exchange is. However, Kucoin is a good exchange too and I have been using it for long, although it isn't fast and user-friendly like Binance, it's features are still good. Kucoin is a good exchanger but in my opinion Binance is still my first choice. How many centralized exchanges have been hacked? How many came back stronger? You see, from the questions the evidence is clear that Binance is indeed a strong exchange which despite its hacking still came back and continued its activities. Despite its hack people are still using it and new projects are still going for IEO there. So I don't think there is anything wrong with trading in Binance exchange, but we should be careful of leaving funds there, not only Binance but all exchanges. Kucoin on the other hand is a good one too, including its revenue aspects etc, but in all ramifications it can't be compared to Binance.

KuCoin exchange is also a good exchange and can be seen as an alternative to binance exchange.  I use KuCoin a lot but let's also know that the challenges faced by Binance can also happen to any exchange.

You are correct for using that word alternative and not replacement because that is exactly how it is. Binance is still the best and I see no reason why anyone should stop using binance and move over to Kucoin permanently because binance has so many features that even the trader must have been used to that kucoin does not have.  

Kucoin is also a great exchange and we can only use it sometime for coins that we don’t see on Binance but for coin that are on Binance, absolutely no need for replacement. One thing that attracts people to Binance most is their low fee and their security even though it was at one point compromised but they have a better security update now that can guarantee any investor or trader a safe environment for trading.

Binance is the number one exchange that's why many traders and contributors want to list their tokens or coins in this exchange. In terms from the recent hack hackers attacked this big exchange because they know how huge money are involved. So what is the best thing to do? We need to always have a plan B. Once we meet up our target I suggest to full out your assets you have and store it in your safe wallet by that we can actually safe from the hackers.

Binance also shares profit with BNB holders, they are regularly burning BNB in value what they earned during the year. Also I wouldnt say that Kucoin is safer than Binance.

Kucoin accrues dividends, the Binance does not. but so far the Binance has strong IEOs (except for the latter unfortunately)

The market will decide which will be the leading crypto exchange in volume. We don't need to speculate which is it. I'm sure every one of you wants liquidity and much volume. So far, Binance is still it.

Always practice to have a good backup plans, if you are a big player who deals with huge amount of investment it's good to keep your assets inside your own safe wallets is far better than keeping it from any exchanges, having the full access securing your investment should be the first thing to do, as  Kucoin or Binance are not safe to any possibility of being attack by those hackers around this industry.

The price fluctuations will lead ti the stronger competition among the best known exchanges and the liquidity gaps will be filled in case of the mass adoption. The ordinary investors don't take into consideration the liquidity problems and the fake volume assumptions which can be a trap for the smart crypto investors.

Yes, they have good trading fee and withdrawn fee, most secured platform, and the special is the dividend for KCS holders from trading fee.
But the problem with them is trading volume. Many trading pair have low volume, and too many bots. Hope they will improve it in the future.

The Binance and KuCoin exchanges are for me the main exchanges on which I trade. They are equally good at work. And the fact that one of them was hacked, absolutely nothing to say about the great reliability of the second, maybe it's just someone's flaw)

Kucoin is doing strange things as well, I believe every single exchange that is active on the market is pretty shady, but what can we do about it? Binance was hacked several times, by they are managing things right, thats why I am still on Binance.

Binance looks more safe im my opinion. But why choose one exchange? Use both, diversify your holdings, that's a good strategy. And not only these two exchanges, I would advise to use 3-5 of them at least.

Well kucoin is definitely not the bsst alternative to binance. The trade volume on the exchange is low, most trades are practically made by bots and even the so called features they boast of are nothing close to what binance has continually offered to traders and investors alike.. It will be a long before binance looses its hold on the crypto space
