Title: Top 50 coins that are worth looking at?
Post by: rotaryfurball on May 09, 2019, 05:40:14 AM
Does anyone have any Top 100 marketcap coins worth looking at?
Not so much interested in Ethereum killers, DAPP Platforms, coins like XRP, LTC.

Look out for less known coins with a proper working product. I am a strong believer that coins like HYDRO (partnerships with IBM and Google), ANN (currently revolutionizing UKs property market) or Verity (also huge partnerships) are huge in 5-10 years despite none of them is in the Top 50, nor in the Top 500.

The top 50 coins are really worth for the long term investment. You should invest for these coins because only these coins are make you profitable in the long run or may be short term. You must see the Litecoin price in the year of 2017 bull how this coin grow millionth of times since the last 7 years. So, choose the  highest traded volume wise coin for your investment.

i have been held Tnb for near one years. Even its price not good, but i always believe it will be pump one day. TNB advantages are as followings: advancing company bussiness concept, big rich man support behind, energetic team, etc.. After all, never let you down.

Better you have a look at the privacy coins like XMR, ONION, PIVX, since we are on the way of bull run probably, I guess those will gain huge price now. Moreover, those projects are undervalued right now and it worths to invest in now.

I trade every day using coins that come in the top 50 coins. Like BNB, ACT, BCH, and BTC some of these coins have very high trading volumes. Like ACT, in the last three days, prices continued to pump and I also benefited from rising prices. I suggest that you are smarter to take advantage of every opportunity that exists.

you should first explain why do you want to "look at them"?

is it for your interest in their technology? is it for adoption as a payment mechanism in your business? or is it simply to make an investment and make profit? or something else?
depending on your reasons the answer will be entirely different!
assuming it is for investment (since 99% of people asking this question are trying to make money) i would say it doesn't matter, all the coins are worth looking at specially those that have a very low rank in coinmarketcap.com (possibly even in page 2 and 3 of it) because for profit you should seek pumpability and the small cap coins are more pumpable than big cap altcoins.

Coins that are in the top rank have a good opportunity as a coin which is used as an investment. So when we are beginners, we must be able to make a decision by avoiding various risks. Choosing coins that are in the top rank will avoid us from losses, although it does not ensure we get profits but this will be much better.

Obviously i would recommend you coins from top 20 if you are serious and long term investor but if you are willing to take risk and want to invest in relatively new and high potential coins then you can invest in power ledger, ambrosus, basic attention token and everex etc but i recommend you do your own research too and also find the perfect entry yourself.

I have been a believer in only Bitcoin so far, but I discovered a new project that is not even in the Top 100 marketcap, it's relevantly new, but has a real product basically ready, the CEO does monthly updates and honestly I haven't seen anything like this so far.

The project is called YANU and it is a fully autonomous A.I. and robot empowered bartending unit.
It serves drinks, handles payments, identifies and communicates with clients.
Yanu robots will be used in airports, transportation hubs, stadiums, hotels and exhibition halls around the world.
Due to strategically picked location, the product will be seen by millions of people every day.

I believe in the project, because it's from my own country where we don't have many crypto projects and there are many important people figuring in this project, public figures who would never risk with a project that might be a scam. Plus if it was, it would already be a major headline in this country.

What also caught my eye was their Candybox campaign for token holders that I haven't seen so far anywhere else.

They will do a Candybox campaign to motivate buying and holding the tokens.
This means that they will be paying out bonuses to token holders who keep a certain balance of Yanu
tokens. The payouts will happen after 31.12.2019 which is the date a snapshot will be taken of the Candybox balances.

The bonus payouts of the Candybox are the following:

+10% bonus to all balances who deposited before 01.07.2019
+15% bonus to balances over 100 tokens
+30% bonus to balances over 1000 tokens
+50% bonus to balances over 10 000 tokens
+70% bonus to balances over 100 000 tokens

Yanu token has a built-in demand. They will be buying back 2% revenue worth of tokens at the market price.
This will gradually decrease the circulating supply and thus making it a valuable tokens to hold long-term.
This will also provide additional liquidity.

Check out the website - https://yanu.ai/ (https://yanu.ai/)

I would love to hear your feedback on this :)

Your criteria pretty much exclude most coins. But you may be interested in MIOTA - a project that has partnered with Jaguar and, rumor has it, is in talks with Ford. It deals with IoT and addressing the need for feeless transactions and scalability.

I agree. If there's one thing that drives interest in cryptos, it is the perception of scarcity. Each halving event brings awareness of the scarcity of coins. I see LTC complementary to BTC.

Yeah, make the list small with look at the top 20 coins. The more lists of coins that we seen, it will only cause confusion. Coins that you suggest do have a high risk. For reduce it, I will look at EOS and XRP. This just my recommendations, the rest is up to yourself.

For the public, I will choose from 50 and above and for details maybe 25 and above it is very good when top coins are talked about a lot by people today with very good market conditions so don't waste this good opportunity by buying in the price is very cheap, back to the choice of coins, the top one must do the analysis to be more precise in choosing coins, buy and wait until the price is very expensive.

I buy a small amount of coins from the Top 20 and keep them in my wallet for long-term investment. And I'm constantly trying to expand my portfolio gradually. Because I think the most suitable altcoins for long-term investment are the coins in the Top 20.

If you will say top 50 only, I will choose only on the top 10 coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, EOS, Cardano and Stellar.

I have invested too in Electroneum. It is not on the top 50 but it is on the top 100 at this moment. I also holding some MAN tokens but only a few amount. I think it will be better for you if you do some research if you are an investor. Make a basis too that will help you if you will buy this coin or not.

The first sign that you believe in a project is buying into it. If you don't have these coins and you're preaching them to others to buy into, it only means you're a supporter in mouth and not in action. How will anyone believe you then?

Well, OP you've to look at www.coinmarketcap.com to have your pick.

For fund security and some less than 2x profit will choose coins among the top 50 on coinmarketcap rank but for a higher profit, say 500% and more. I will choose coins from 300 and below on the rank as they have the potential for making huge profit but will pay carefully attention to the project activity, development, structure and team. There are some coins not yet listed on coinmarketcap that has made over 200% already.

They partner in multiple areas, have a look at here: https://medium.com/hydrogen-api/hydrogens-newest-collaboration-is-with-ibm-5070364dff03

May become huge, especially if IBM can take the step up and offers blockchain support for banks!

If you would extend "involvement" to "having those coins" then of course I am "involved", but what I was talking about is that I am not a developer or someone who gets paid from any of those projects.

I can say that the top 100 altcoins in coinmarket are good to buy especially if you are an investor most because of altcoins or holders of altcoins they prefer longterm investment rather than short term because they prefer it because more profitable in short term strategy there is a potential risky risk because many altcoins because the price is falling fast so its makers are trading experts because if it's a newbie I think it's a big chance to lose it big .

That is a good sample to the OP to make a decision. He can follow what you did, and he can invest in the top 20 coins list and hold it for a long-term. There are too many profitable coins, and he might be difficult to choose the right coins because every coin has the same opportunity to be profitable coins and gives a big profit in the future.

I think it's a waste of time if we invest up to 50 altcoins, especially the market conditions that are still difficult like now, invest a maximum of 15 top ranked is better, because top 15 determines market conditions.

First of all, I don't think investing on 50 coins at once is a good idea. You better go for 3-5 coins and research about these.Learn how these coins are performing in the market.I think investing on few good coins are more profitable than investing on 10+ coins.I always prefer Ethereum, Dash, Monero, Ripple, Doge for investing. And coinmarketcap is always there for you to find top 50 cryptocurrency to invest on.

I have a coin that is very decent for me to have. I am more focused on the top 20 coins in the coinmarketcap. And I buy low price coins like ABYSS, ACT, ADA, EOS, and XRP. With the increase in Bitcoin prices every day, of course, this will have an impact on increasing the trading volume of each coin. So you must be able to take advantage of the current conditions to make a profit.

Absolutely diversifying into 3-5 coins or under 10 coins is much better than investing too many coins. The top 50 coins shows us a good sign to quickly find out an effective and reliable coin to take a research and than make a decision for whether or not we should invest on it. When we focus on some coins which have a great reputation, definitely its technology is good and actually it's really worth of investing. However, you are  completely possible to choose some others which maybe out of this top list, but first of all you should know clear detail and all information in order that you can minimize the risk of loss.

Now bitcoin seems growing well but next level ETH does not seems performing like the BTC. So other altcoins will not grow when Ethereum not growing other top coin is growing. Why you took XRP as a competition buddy.
I will never invest on XRP and in future also will not concentrate in this coin at all since this coin no reason to invest.

Soon EOS and TRX will capture the next 3 and 4th rank to grow the market.

What about looking for lesser known coins and the coins that have much potentiality hitting exchanges? I think instead of following already established coins that are ranked up to 100 in the market cap, we should explore and seek new coins that are very much potential than the established coins. Of the established coins, I like and believe in BNB and tron.

Its better to just look into few like the top 20 and at least the ones you believe can make it big one day. BNB is a sure profit, it can help you for the fees in binance at the same time. Not so much for the TRX but its till one of the top tokens and dapp killer like EOS. There is a battle for that dapp killer but certainly its ETH that on top of it. EOS is even much sophisticated than ETH.

Of course, everyone has their own implications. Each individual consists of his own thoughts. The cryptocurrency market is an actor with a lot of variables. The most important detail I have experienced so far is the necessity of giving attention to the privacy coins. That's why I think we should increase our profits by keeping coins like Veil via "Proof of Work".

Coinmarketcap or any other similar site lists are meaningless. Even though there are many betters coins out there history has shown us that the only coins that we could trust are BTC, LTC, and ETH. The people behind these projects serve the community and not their own agendas and we've seen that through the years.

In my opinion, there will be no killer app for either BTC or ETH for the simple reason that both blockchains are scalable (whether directly or 2nd layer solutions) and the community is simply too big to simply vanish.

However even though we gave our opinion, I think they will only choose that good in their perspective. I will also choose ETH and LTC since they are have survived many times despite being swayed. Hopefully he will put them in the list of considerations.

I invest on ETN, and i have also some DGB and Litecoin, i think this will grow for sure but for now i don't have enough time and money to invest on another coins, but i will do next month, and there in top 100 are some coins which you should choose and hold.

I will prefer a coin outside the top 100, considerably new and with a good minimum value product to invest in. These kind of coins are usually money spinners and can yield as much as 100 - 300 percent in return unlike the established coins that you will hardly get 20 percent returns from

choosing altcoins like ETH XRP and EOS in my opinion is better, because this will reduce the risk of loss. they already have many enthusiasts from various circles and have a very large 24 hour volume.

Disclaimer: I am not involved in any of those projects, just a true believer ;)

Lol OK. I wonder why you focus on a single coin if you are shilling it.
Currently revolutionizing UK property market?  Yet little is known about the cryptocurrency.

Plus partnership with Google and IBM?  Where are the proofs my friend
Please reread my post, I am talking about three coins here. Regarding ANN: there are lots of videos on youtube from the founders, the last one is from April.
Regarding partnerships of HYDRO with IBM and Google: I posted the link to the IBM announcement a few posts over yours. You can also google the announcements in no matter of time my friend ;) http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Hydro+google+partnership

I recommend enjin coin because their platform is for gaming industry and it will be big in the years to come, they also have a partnership with Samsung which is huge. So my conclusion is that we might see enjin coin in the top 10 marketcap in the years to come and this is a great investment to choose.

Sure, I am holding a lot of coins from top 100, because I think those coins are the most experienced on the market and they will show the greatest raising stats. But I am also very selective with coins, because for example I do not like centralised assets like Ripple.

I certainly have the top 50 altcoin assets. Because in my opinion the top altcoin is the altcoin that we must buy for now. Plus the crypto market is remembering. Of course a very good moment, the top altcoin is like litecoin and ethereum, of course. Both of these altcoins, from the beginning until now, I like to have it.

Why don't you like Ripple? For example, I consider Ripple a very promising asset that should be in the portfolio of every crypto investor. You just need to differentiate your investment. To keep part of the money in coins from the top 3, part in coins from the top 20, part of the money to keep in coins from the top 100, and part to invest in completely new projects. And by the way, investing in these new projects can be the most profitable. I stick to this rule. I keep top coins and actively buy coins of new projects. Now a lot of interesting things can be bought by participating in the IEO. For example, today starts IEO from the project Gexan. Very interesting project.

Well we have a lot of the top 100 coins that are worth looking at, so I don't think you will want to invest in all of them, though I don't know the kind of funds you own since I don't know you from anywhere. The coins that I can recommend for you to check out is EOS and TRON for now, because I have studied them and I can say that they have a very good potential for the future, and I believe that they will be worth a substantial in some few months to come, but I think you need to make your own research to confirm what I am saying.

Why you aren't interested with LTC? you are missing the train, it will halve by August.

I agree. If there's one thing that drives interest in cryptos, it is the perception of scarcity. Each halving event brings awareness of the scarcity of coins. I see LTC complementary to BTC.
They don't understand that these halving will certainly bring deflation and scarce to litecoin. The perfect example was with bitcoin during 2016 halving and we're also having that by 2020, these guys are missing the big opportunity that they can ride while its below the belt.

I strongly agree on your opinion the price is actually not a benchmark while still young, but real work in the future will determine later. Having a big prospect in the future is the most important.

very profitable is to have the top altcoin. Because they are stable and with the current conditions will certainly continue to increase. Why is that you have to invest in the top or the top 50 altcoins. A very small risk is having the highest altcoin.

If you hope to get the fastest profit, it is worth choosing new tokens, which are very cheap yet. At least 30% of them will run up. Therefore, you can make money. But this is a great risk also.

Small and steady gains are waiting for those who afford to give a space on his portfolio to the mentioned coins IMO.

Well you should know that the concept of diversification fails as you exceed I think your investment in more than 30 assets. You do not need to have all the top coins out there but just the best coins would do that as well. Think about people who have had Bitcoin and ETH in their collection. They would be happy with the selection and never need to HODL every coin out there.

I always see coins in the top 10 being investment choices, because being in the top position indirectly indicates that the coin is worth choosing. This reason is the basis of crypto trade execution.
It's better to buy coins that are definitely selling well than buying new coins that are cheap but risky not trading. Because the basic principle of investment is the certainty of making a profit from making a decision regarding the purchase of crypto.

Ripple is an indicator of the beginning of massive growth of altocoins. If XRP confidently makes + 25% of the current price, then it's high time to buy alts from top. I recomend to buy NEO, EOS, TRX, QTUM, ICX, WAN, STRAT
These coins will show strong growth, if the news background will remain positive and some nasty things will not happen.
