Post by: TheGodson on May 10, 2019, 04:03:23 AM
Apparently Kucoin decided to delist Polymath. Anyway can I still get it or did they steal my money?

You will be able to withdraw your Polymath tokens for a given period without any problem, so they are not going to steal your "Money"

Are you sure you sent any polymath tokens to Kucoin?
If so you can check on the right side of your page when you are logged in

https://i.imgur.com/brUK65s.png

- Click on assets and then Main account if you have not be trading polymath
- If you have been trading then the tokens are most likely to be under the trading account(click on that option to see the balances in the trading account)

Lol kucoin is a legit exchange so theres.no chance that they will stole your coin specially in time of delisting because its obvious that they are delisting the said coin foe not so good reason

The team will allocate specific period of time so thd holders/investors of each coin to bs delisted can gind time to withdraw not unless your time has alreadt passed

But as what @Bitcoin Arena put above ,you can check thru their website if your coin still there of have already profited

Good luck mate, hope you can recover that coin

They will always have notifications before deleting any tokens! You should leave the property on any Exchange to note its official announcements.

Perhaps you refused to receive their email or notification in the future when you registered your account on Kucoin, so you don't receive any notification from them.

Kucoin is not in business to steal people's coin, if you subscribe to their newsletter, you will have a notification that they are delisting certain coins, if it is still in the time frame, you can still withdraw if it is not, then contact support, if you cannot recover, then you failed to keep an update of your portfolios.

I think already you asking polymath issues in January month, Because I saw your old posts in January 11 and some one is suggesting to contact supporting team. But you didn't check the others advice. If you really want your polymath or just blabbering in this forum.

You should ask directly the Kucoin exchange about your problem. This I think the better way so that you can recover your coins. BTW, how much coins do you have from the time Kucoin Steal your coins? If it is worth a cents then do not bother to recover it because it will just a waste of time. There are more coins in the market and you can get those coins by investing or buying it. You could even trade new coins if you want to. Just be careful always.

A good exchange must have spare time from the delisting decision, to give the account owners time to withdraw their coin.
When did you hear they will delist polymath ? If you heard it just not long ago, you should contact the support about withdrawal.
But if they announced the delisting few months ago, you might missed the time.

The title is misleading if it's only worth hundreds of dollar better contact support, they have the best support I've seen, and if they fix this issue, better lock this thread, people who hate Kucoin will just give bad comments about Kucoin.

Your Polymath is not stolen by the exchange. Most times, before any exchange will delist any coin or token there will be announcements in their channels and they will also send mails and there will be time duration for users to withdraw it.

I hope you can get your tokens back.

Of course that you can still get your coins, but I think that it would require your time.
I remember when IDEX delisted a coin and I had to call a smart contract, it was not as easy as I thought. But Kucoin is note DEX, right?  :D

In the case of delisting, if the token / coin asset delisted is not taken within a specified period of time it will usually become the property of the exchange, and they must argue why you did not take it when notified, and there may also be an exchange that continues to provide assets from traders by giving them their details (maybe)

You should ask this question in the Kucoin support form. For faster response use the telegram group and find an admin to assist. Alternatively, post the question in Kucoin Reddit page or ask on Twitter. That was a possible easy solution for you.
Now. I'm pretty sure they have given chance to withdraw with a specific date after delisting any coins not only the polymath. Either you missed the announcement, or if not yet, they'll announce it for sure. So, even if you missed the withdrawal period, I believe they will help you to get it back with higher fees. Contact them.

Just to update. I was able to get my coins. Kucoin support was helpful and timely in assisting me.

I also changed the title of this thread from "Kucoin stole my Polymath?" to "Kucoin delisted Polymath", because the first one may imply deceit.

I don't think the fault is from them but rather from you, if they are delisting any coin from their exchange, this means that you will not be able to trade it anymore or make any kind of transaction with it, so they don't just wake up in the morning delisting coins, there have to be an announcement made by kucoin which I am sure they did but it was unlikely you never saw it before the coin was fully delisted, so am sorry for your lost, just try messaging kucoin and see what their reply is.

Usually when an exchange delist a coin, exchange don't stop wtihdrawal immediately, users are giving enough time to carry out their token withdrawal, go to kucoin, i am sure withdrawal will still be available and you should be able to withdraw to your personal wallet.

There is no notifications at all so there is a possibility that they are just delisting it for a reason like it is maintenance I am not sure about it but there is always a chance. The best thing to do is to contact the support of kucoin and for sure they will answer you immediately.

I think they will announce a date, and you must have to withdraw before the date. Kucoin is a very good exchange and promising one. They will never cheat with the client, I believe.

It’s alright, but you just have to try as much as possible to make sure you do your finding and get your fact right before you make any negative utterance about people and projects, these is how majority of us has killed some business because of our little impatience, and know people generally in this forum and other forum Likes to follow trend without making their own findings to confirm the accusation before joining in condemning too. I am glad they were able to resolve your problem and I am sure you will still continue to use them because they are good and reliable exchange too.
